Those stats just blow my mind. OSU is going to be in a position like this for quite a few years folks. In the playoff discussion or full of lots of young guys because of players going pro early? Possibly both, Urban with football at Ohio State is practically Calipari with basketball at Kentucky.

Except for the Browns, us Cleveland fans have had some memorable contests this year. The Cavaliers in June, The Indians all season and then through October. Great stuff. Tomorrow is the biggest college football game of the year (so far). As in all of college football. It usually is. This year it’s #3 Michigan @ #2 Ohio State. The most recent point spread is Buckeyes favored by 7 ½ points. In the NFL, a 7 ½ point favorite wins 75% of the time. But college football is different. College football point spreads don’t easily translate into percentage chance of winning because college teams are less stable/predictable than NFL teams. Even bad NFL teams. College games are more likely to have unpredictable plays/things happen. For instance, in college 40 players are more likely to vary greatly from their expected capabilities. (either up or down). (i.e. 40 pro’s are going to be more consistent) In any case, another great sporting event for us Cleveland fans.
