CHS is in your squad now. I stopped listening to Kanye after Watch The Throne. I've never listened to kanye. His music, OR his thoughts. It's a good thing he bought that insurance policy to cover his income if he was hospitalized during his last tour. I thought he said he was some 50 or 70 million in debt, and was asking for donations not all the long ago.

How about we just give them working body cams that they can't turn off and on  Sure that will protect them from harm  It will protect them from the harm of false prosecution. Body cams protect the police and the public from false prosecution. So if everybody wore body cams they would all be protected right. Maybe everybody should wear them 24/7 no more questions about rape, domestic violence, or slander. Medical malpractice poof gone got all interactions with the DR, Nurse and everybody else on tape. Lets tape everybody 24/7 365 days a year, that's going to solve all the world's problems.

However, in all seriousness: Cops are paid and have the ability to legal kill other human beings. That's the major difference between them and everyone else.

I have no problem with cops having body cams. Hell At work we started recording all deliveries in the F&I offices three years ago

Fair. It's time we start turning them on based on their GPS locations. I hate to say it, and many will get on me about this statement, but it's true, so I'll say it anyway. Cops cannot be trusted to properly use their body cams. In many situations it's still off while they interact with the public. However, it would be very bad if an investigation got leaked because someone hacked the archives of video.

Why you think everyone pulls their phones out on the Cops now? The only problem I see with that is: The video almost never shows the situation's set-up. They usually only catch the drama. Because of that, we'll always have 'he said/he said' about how the situation escalated. The vid MUST show the entire interaction, from start to finish. Only then will it provide the necessary empirical evidence for either side's claim(s)

Cop's that have lost their tempers and then take it out on unarmed suspects in the form of a beating or shooting provides the necessary empirical evidence to justify as evidence for either sides claim. Cops cannot loose their tempers in the heat of an arrest and be an executioner. Nope any footage showing an officers lost of temper should be viewed as evidence against them.

I'm glad that we can find some humor in this, but I truly do find this alarming. It boggles my mind to think that he doesn't consider these briefings important enough to attend them. And sending Mike Pence is NOT the same. Pence will have different questions, come to different conclusions, etc. The only thing that makes sense in this scenario is if Trump plans to be a 'figuehead president' where issues of international security are concerned. I hate the way this feels. Every time something like this comes up, I spend the rest of the day shaking my head and asking 'wtf???'
