First series of the game, and Goff is already in for a long night.

First series of the game, and Goff is already in for a long night. He has not been good. He is also in one of the worst situations a rookie QB could be in. No real offensive weapons, inexperienced offensive coordinator, [former] head coach who doesn't develop QBs, no offensive line, etc.

Or had a plan. They drafted Goff, who is best out of the shotgun, when their best offensive player is/was Todd Gurley, who is best when the QB is under center. They drafted Goff to try and save their jobs. If he hit big, then everyone sticks around. If they don't trade for Goff, then their QB is Case Keenum and they are all fired. They tried to play it in the middle and got fired.

gotta say the Rams look worse than we do at the moment. They probably should. They are playing on a short week after just firing their head coach on Monday with a rookie QB in a place that is horrible for visitors.

Although their defense looked good... Held Rawls to 34 yds on 21 carries

Detroit has a brutal stretch coming up. Really curious to see how they finish. They're a team that Cleveland could easily be in 2 years (if they don't whiff on the draft).

It's a shame Seattle can't run the ball. This is probably their most talented team they've had. The defense looks phenomenal, but Russell Wilson has played his best (packers game was a horrendous outlier).

They miss Earl Thomas for sure.

didn't watch one snap of jets/dolphins ... probably one of the least interesting matchups in the nfl
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

So Carson Wentz has an interception and has fumbled twice, and coming up on halftime he has 19 passing yards to WRs and TEs, but the Eagles are about to go up because elite joe flacco fumbled the ball inside his own 10 and the eagles ran it in.

jacksonville was winning 20-8 after Marqise Lee took a kickoff back for a touchdown, but has had only 2 first downs in the second half to give the game away.
