Didn't see the terms of Cribbs contract in this thread so i figured i would add it to this one instead of starting a new thread.
Browns | Contract update: Cribbs

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Cribbs signed a six-year contract extension with the team. The contract includes base salaries of $435,000 (2007), $520,000 (2008), $620,000 (2009), $635,000 (2010), $650,000 (2011) and $790,000 (2012).
Looks really reasonable for both sides. Didn't show the signing bonus tho....
Dang, for all the differant things Cribbs brings to the table for the Browns such as add depth to the receiving core, all the things he does for specail teams by making tackles and giving the Browns great field position, he's an emergancy QB, and he helps the team by playing various roles in practice to prepare for the upcoming week.
IMO, in Cribbs' second year, he brings more to the table then Dennis Northcutt right now. Im comparing the two because both are a WR who is a major player in specail teams. Cribbs hasnt even come close to reaching his prime yet. Northcutt will never even have a prime.
Does anyone know what Northcutts contract looked like?
The numbers in Cribbs contract shows that the Browns got a great value. In the future, wouldnt be suprised if Cribbs has a contract holdout. Oh wait, i was thinking of Northcutt <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
