What what?
This is a lousy place for a kid needing mentoring to come to. He's not ready to start and there's not much he can learn from RGIII and Kessler. McCown will be history so there's nothing to be gained there. I'm not willing to get Trubisky Kesslered.

Too raw and we won't have a veteran QB who can teach him, so there is no way he'll be good.

Watson>Kelly>Trubisky So you basically place zero value on protecting the football and making smart decisions. You want "F it, go deep" QBs.

Candy, Trubinsky has an inordinate amount of fumbles. He has also turned the ball over during crunch times a couple of times.

Did trubisky protect the football today in a big game? 16 interceptions > 6 interceptions So when Watson throws interceptions that lead to touchdowns by Malik Hooker, what will you be saying?

Today was a career high in turnovers for him. Swish at no time has EVER discussed how Watson throws interceptions like they're hot potatos.

I've mentioned plenty of times Watson's high interception rate this season. I also made the post a while back that that it's not anywhere close to be uncommon with college QB's. Winston threw more interceptions his last year than Watson. So are you saying that You think Winston wasn't gonna be good in the NFL? I don't have a problem with Trubisky throwing picks. I have a problem with his Blake bortles, Brandon weeden baseball cockback mechanics and periods of lack of vision. We will see what Watson does tomorrow. I want him to do good, but I don't want him to beat Ohio state. So there's a dilemma. But as of right now, Watson is hands down the better QB. It ain't close. Honestly I think you guys like trubisky just because he's from Ohio.

Winstons off the field drama turned me off about him as a prospect. I'm still not sure how his career is gonna turn out. The sexual assault stuff still looms like an ugly elephant in the room.
I like Trubisky because he's from Ohio? Why don't I like Kizer? Google where Kizer is from.
Trubisky has rock solid mechanics, what are you talking about?
I think Watson will be out of the league in 3-4 years.

Trubisky is blake Bortles, possibly a worst version.
I'm trying to figure out why you like someone like him but not Watson.
Watson has more TD's. He's the same size, same cannon arm. He's build just like Trubisky.
He's more athletic than Trubisky. And he has way better big play ability.
Watson is also just as accurate as Trubisky, 67% to 68%.
And their yards per pass is the same.
So what is it? Cause Watson's mechanics are better than Trubisky, and Watson also has real dual threat ability.
So it has to be something. Because it certainly isn't on the field. Cause on the field, Watson is running circles around Trubisky

And protect the ball?
We already have a QB who protects the ball. His name is Cody Kessler.

Watson has Tebow level mechanics, he doesn't protect the ball, and he has NFL receivers to throw to. Outside of Switzer can you name another target Trubisky has? Watson has 5 guys that will be playing in the NFL ago throw to.
Trubisky has better pocket awareness, willingness to step up in a pocket, and a better release. Watson looks to run whenever he can. Trubisky doesn't unless it's a designed run.

What i saw today from Trubisky was a guy who isn't worth a 1st round pick, his mechanics and footwork is going to cause alot of issues at the next level. Bottom line is theres nothing coming out this year i think is worth one of our top 2 picks.. I also don't think Jimmy G is worth the pick either..I think we'll take one later
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne

Kessler had his brains beat out literally this season. He was forced into action before his time as would most likely Trubisky. Hence my term "Kesslered" in a previous post. I don't want to see it happen to another kid. There's no steadying presence at QB here to learn the ins and outs of the life of an NFL QB. Concussed rookies and invalids who can't stay on the field don't help much. Coaching is good if the coaching is good.
I know there are guys who can step into the league and never look back but Trubisky, although he does have some skills, doesn't look like one.
