Youth is an issue. I'd bet 3/4 of this roster is at their first ever bowl game.

The offensive coaching staff needs to be completely overhauled.

Watson's receivers seem to be better catchers than he is a passer. They made some nice, contorted catches.

I'm not saying he's bad at all. I've just seen some great catches that could have been routine. Actually, it's only the second time I've seen him play. It's just my take on his first half. I'd be concerned with too much running and him being hurt. I think he throws a tight ball but his accuracy might be off. As I said, I've not seen him enough.

That statement I quoted, for one.

Also, I like how you claimed we didn't look prepared.

It's like pulling teeth for you to just admit that Watson is killing us right now.

Those picks were bad. But those TD's weren't.

He already has the same # of TD's in one half that your boy did the entire game.

And more rushing yards. On pace to throw for more as well.

But I get it. You don't want a talented QB.

You want Brandon Weeden.

He hasn't looked the greatest.

And yet this average game is enough to decimate this defense.

His "off" night is already a better performance in one half than trubisky's entire game.

YOU THINK THE OFFENSE LOOKS PREPARED?!?!

Also, Watson got a huge amount of thos rushing yards on one play where OSU whiffed on at least 2 tackles.

Congrats he's torching Denzel Ward with Mike Williams. It's like I said before. It's like watching Manziel throw up ducks to Mike Evans. I've said numerous times Mike Williams is incredible.

You want a black Manziel, I get it.

Swish Watson had two nice passes of any real NFL significance......the same number of INTs he has thrown. Even the Browns aren't stupid enough to draft him in the first round.

Think we'll just end up tipping our cap to Clemson tonight. We can throw blame all around, but Clemson right now is just better. No dumb penalties, their play calling has a lot more purpose.

That's not to say that Ohio State isn't hurting themselves, but we've known for a while the vertical passing offense disappeared somewhere in the middle of the year.

I'm not even all that upset about this. This is a young Buckeye team that will come back quite strong last year, and Clemson seems to be primed to get another shot at Bama.

It happens. Been a hell of a year for Ohio sports, I'd say.

It doesn't matter to Swish. Watson is dumb as a box of rocks like Vince Young, but interceptions don't matter if you can run. See how far that got Manziel.

And the shape that RGIII is in being a running QB.

You mention his WR's as if that's a knock against Watson. Isn't it the entire point to surround your QB with talent?

Also, I didn't know he threw the ball to Williams on his TD run.

Or his TD throw? Did I miss that this game?

Yes. I'd take a black manziel without the off field issues before I take a Blake Bortles without the talent.

Sorry that I want to actually win.

There's my concern. The last TD was beautifully thrown but in the NFL you're going to get popped running too often.

I answered your WR question in the past.

Who's the last running QB to win a super bowl? That's all Watson is. His ceiling is Colin Kaepernick.

How many games did Manziel win when he played?

Dumb as a box of rocks?

Now you're making things up about him because you have zero argument when it comes to on field performance compared to Trubisky.

Vince young also has an NFL win-loss record of 30-17.

Blame Bortles has more pick 6's than wins. But of Course that's the kind of QB you want.

Fess up. You just don't like Watson just because. Feelings over facts. Lol.

Russel Wilson. Aaron Rodgers. Dual threat QB's who won supebowls.

You're argument continues to fall apart. This is becoming child's play.

Certainly better than Bortles and Weeden.

Not a fair comparison, both those guys are just as good in the pocket as out of it. Watson definitely looks more like a QB than JT, but as I've said a thousand times this year....oh just read my signature.

Dual threat. That's what I said. That's what I said before in other threads about those two.

Watson is a dual threat. So your argument has been yet again countered

I give OSU one more possession to do something or I'm opting for the Twilight Zone marathon. Seeing those for the 500th time will be more entertaining.

No I don't like Watson because he is a great college QB who doesn't see the field well enough to be an effective NFL QB. Tribisky also isn't a first round option imo either as he is to inaccurate if it makes you feel better. This is a really crappy year for QBs and there is no need to draft one high just because we need one. If they want to take a gamble on Watson or Tribisky in the 2nd/3rd round great, but I can't believe even we are that stupid to think these guys are 1st round picks......and if we do we are more hosed than even Vers thinks lol....jk Vers.
