This should be of no surprise as we kept our coaches this year. But this year the Senior Bowl has a lot of promising seniors invited. Here is the ever growing accepted invite list: http://www.seniorbowl.com/accepted-invites.php
Lots of big names that I hope the Browns can coach in the next few weeks.
Was going through some of the players on the Senior Bowl roster and Antonio Garcia the LT for Troy looks interesting. I hadn't really heard of him before, but his game against Clemson is on draftbreakdown and he looks pretty good to me. Might be a little grabby at times, but he looks for work, and has a mean streak. Seems to have good size, length, and feet.
Looks like a pretty good roster this year (outside of QB)
You mess with the "Bull," you get the horns. Fiercely Independent.
Always thought coaching the senior bowl was a helpful tool for day 2 and 3. It'll be nice to see if that results in a good haul from the lower rounds and we'll definitely have to see come may if any of the South roster is a new brown.
I haven't watched him play or anything but its money in his pocket if he can go from being the say the 9th rated OG as opposed to the 2-3rd rated center.
He looked extremely athletic in that game. Very grabby and I doubt he can run block, but I hope that we'll put him to the test in the practices in the next few weeks.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Browns coaches have been selected to coach at the Senior Bowl this year. The game takes place on January 28 in Mobile, Alabama, with a week of practices leading up to the game.
While many of the top names the Browns might consider won't be there, fans and coaches will get a look at a number of players the team might have an interest in as the draft winds along this year. Check out the video above to hear some of the names -- some obvious, some not -- that could be worth watching during that week.
Mary Kay Cabot and I will be in Mobile in the week leading up to the game, too, so stay tuned for all of our coverage plans from the event.
He's got nothing to prove at this point. Especially since in the Sr. Bowl he'd be playing with team mates that have only worked together for 1 week, in an offensive system he very possibly doesn't know.
That's exactly what I look for at the Senior bowl. I agree with you about Watson. But I like seeing how quickly a player can adjust to playing under a new coach and players. While the schemes are generally pretty basic, I believe it gives a clue to how quickly and easily a player can make an adjustment in a new environment.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
If he is eligible and he wants Overall #1 pick QB slotted Rookie contract...he'll play. Wouldn't you? If he wants to go else where in the draft then a different story.
We hold the pick and we have our staff there especially Hue Jackson who would have a big say in our QB pick.
Just looking at it logically...has any QB gotten hurt at the Senior Bowl???
jmho
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
Watson declined. I think we got the majority of the players that I wanted to look at. Davis Webb probably being the most important. Lots of guys though, lots of big names.
I had read a little on Florida Atlantic's Trey Hendrickson - he had a good week of practice and played well it seems. Will that translate to higher levels of competition? He and Wise look like intriguing latter round picks.
Hendrickson projects as a 4th rounder with CBS, 5th or so with drafttek.
If you can't make it out to Ladd-Peebles Stadium, NFL Network and ESPNU will once again provide live coverage and analysis of Senior Bowl practices.
NFL Network will broadcast both North and South practices Tuesday from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., with Wednesday and Thursday sessions televised from noon-4 p.m. ESPNU will air practices from noon-5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
NFL Network will also broadcast daily Senior Bowl recap show from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, with replays from 11 p.m.-midnight.
Was going to ask if anyone watched the shrine game? Anyone leap out?
I watched some of it. The QBs leapt out for the wrong reasons. None looked very good.
DeAngelo Brown from Louisville looked interesting. Looked like he could be a good pairing inside with Shelton. He's somewhat undersized, but he looked stout and was disruptive. I'll have to dig into some regular game tape, though.

I think the first day of practice is hardly the time to be looking for positives and negatives. Maybe a little later in the week once the guys know each other a bit and have some idea of what the coaches want.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
We were talking the Shrine game, which had the practices and the game already. Maybe not the best place for it, but as you said nothing has really happened at the Senior Bowl yet.
Maybe DeAngelo Brown will get a call up to the Senior Bowl?
