These aren’t protests against Trump. They’re protests against people who voted for Trump. What are these people trying to prove? Do they have a point? Is it that they’re unhappy with our next president? Why? It sure seems they're a bunch of spoiled babies. Maybe they want to feel self-important (in an easy - not too much hard work sort of way, maybe get to go viral). Maybe they want attention. Is this what a U.S. generation of "Time-Outs" has yielded? The media is eating this stuff up in part because it sells advertising. And in part because,

I'm still waiting for an intelligent post to be made by any libber. There's been all kinds of posts made about Trump but I'll be darned if there is even ONE that is even half-way intelligent. Maybe someone could say something about Trump without slamming the guy. I don't know how many posters on here really showed their true colors when Trump Won. How many "Nice Guy" posters turned out to be just ugly sore losers and were an embarrassment to even read. There are still some on here that can't say anything without dragging his name through the mud, and it gets so old. Time to move on.

I know you aren't crying about intelligent post when you just said "libber".
Boy oh boy this is hilarious.

When you have never lost at anything in your life because mommy and daddy hover over all that you do and make everything alright again.
When you get an equal trophy to those who worked hard and dedicated themselves to the sport. When winning and losing are equal so no one is offended. When how you feel is more important than what you work to achieve and earn.
When you are looked down upon because you are an A+ Asian student who studied hard while others are rewarded for doing nothing.
These are some of the things our society has done to our children and after this election we face their "over the top" wrath as they are, for the first time in their lives, told NO!

I used libber to expose the hate poster from the intelligent poster. I see nothing wrong with that.

Actually, the protest that I know about is the "Women's March on DC"....it was set up by women who were disgusted that a sexist pig who boasts about sexual assault and who has shown a penchant for bullying women was elected President. But, not just women are going it will be many, many people. AND, for those who cannot make it to DC (or can't afford it as the hotel room rates have gone up to disgusting sums) there are many similar protests all over the country on the same day!
What is wrong with a protest? No different than the 60's/70's when people marched and protested. I am more than happy and glad people are planning to do something rather than whine on Facebook and not actually get up and do it.
It will be huge....some are already predicting a million strong in DC alone.

That's IMO. When you can't say anything nice ever, somethings wrong. Thats how I feel anyway. You don't have to agree.

What is wrong with a protest? No different than the 60's/70's when people marched and protested. It is different in that in the 60s and 70s, they were protesting to stop a war, they were protesting to have civil rights laws properly enforced, they were protesting to have better civil rights laws enacted, etc. You protest because you want something to change. What do they want to change? Unless they can articulate what it is they want to happen as a result of their protest, then it's hard to take them seriously.

I know of bunches of Liberal women who were going to the million woman march to protest Trump but I hear they were not getting as many people as they had hoped for so now the cause is to bring awareness to womens rights and issues.
They march the day after the inauguration.

Not sure who's protesting what or who is behind it, but come on, I don't like Trump one little bit either, but damn, let the day happen as it's supposed to.

Old. I prefer to just slam people for being stupid for things they themselves did and not lumping them into groups black/white, Gen x/Millennial, christian/muslim, left/right. Now please excuse me while I go do something stupid so I ran rip myself a new butthole.

President Obama called us bitter. Hillary Clinton called us deplorable. But Donald Trump called us Americans. And he promised to make our nation great again.

These protests are silly and pointless. Our nation has always had a peaceful transition of power. No matter which of the major two parties candidates that were elected would have been a terrible outcome.
All we can do now is hope for the best and carry on. The same would have held true had Hillary been elected.

J/C I don't agree with these protests but they have the right to do so. Take away the right to peaceful protest and you get a dictatorship. You want to keep whining about liberals or these protests you have that right also. Nothing new here.

Wow, someone actually took the bait! Did you see where Trump met with Steve Harvey today? Introduced him to Ben Carson so they can get ideas on how best to help the inner cities. Harvey said they appeared to be sincere and he looks forward to working with Ben Carson on the issues. Harvey jokingly said this is not him entering politics because he would never pass the background checks.

how was that bait when you start talking about something completely different than what was asked?
are you sure you're aware of what that phrase means?
you was suppose to set a trap about rights being taken away, then talk about how trump plans on giving more freedom. then you could claim i took the bait.
but to start talking about ben carson out of nowhere with regards to something not even remotely in the same subject is....well it fits you, 40.
man now i gotta teach you guys how to set traps properly? i thought i was the young one, here.

OF course what the Trumpkins forget is that the women's march is happening the next day. There are some small groups that want to protest during the inauguration but the DC police and other agencies will handle that.
So orange hair will be sworn in fine. And then the next day, there will be another event on the mall. Let me remind people, that is what the mall is for!!!
Also, all the lefties did not cry about the tea party protests around the capitol!! SO there is no need to cry now.
Another great time to be in DC!!

Protesters planning to blockade inauguration checkpoints, 'party' outside Pence homeAn anti-Donald Trump group is planning massive disruptions for next week's inauguration covering everything from "blockades" at security checkpoints to a "dance party" outside VP-elect Mike Pence's house, according to group leaders as well as newly obtained audio of their apparent plans. The organization #DisruptJ20 already announced at a press conference Thursday its various plans to wreak havoc at Trump's Jan. 20 inauguration and in the days leading up to it. A conservative group also shared with FoxNews.com what it said was audio from a Jan. 8 #DisruptJ20 meeting at a Washington church, giving even greater insight into the group's planned D.C. "shutdown." The audio, recorded by Trevor Loudon with Capital Research Center, purports to show a female member detailing plans to "do everything we can to try and stop people from being able to access the inauguration." http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/...pence-home.html

40, Maybe before typing, you should figure out where Pence's house is at first! Not on the parade route, basically out of site.
Second, how does your post disqualify my comment that small protesters will be handled by the DC police and really the military( that handles alot of the parade route protection..etc)??? Also, there are SEVERAL access points into the mall and crowd area.. So even your so called "audio" from that conservative group does not make any sense!!
BTW.. I as involved with getting a school band to a specific point for Obama's First Inauguration, those folks do not play around.
Maybe you should come down here and see how its done!.. Nothing to worry about.. Nothing to see

Dog, maybe before commenting you should read the post. 1- They plan to block access to the inaug. 2- They plan to have a dance party in front of Pence's house. NOT ON THE SAME BLOCK! NOT AT THE SAME TIME! Pence's house is in a nice but very liberal neighborhood. The crappy neighbors are hanging rainbow flags everywhere like he is gonna give a crap. Its just over from me on Tennyson Street NW. And finally, my post was not meant to disqualify yours, I am a citizen too, free speech and all. You should meet me at the Pence's and I will show you how Conservatives rock.
