Well you know that if things don't happen so fast that it seems like it's in a microwave it's never going to happen.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

OL coach will be an important hire. I'm curious to see who we end up with.

Definitely been change. Not a huge fan of it on the surface. Hopefully we make better choices this time...and they stick around.

Verse is right. Hue is out of control and should be fired immediately.

And furthermore, since we are running behind we should hire a head coach and fire him on the same day.

After watching Luck get hammered in Indy... I didn't expect Hal to be around long...

Didn't like that hire from the start.

This is my last reply to guys like you, WSU, Memphis, etc.

Stop telling lies. I have defended Hue over and over. I have not said he should be fired immediately. I never said that Pep was fired like the WSU implied.

Look, several people have said they are sick of reading the bickering on here. It is typically between WSU, Dep, Memphis, Vambo, 888, mac, and myself.

I think we should all stop. Other posters don't like reading it. I can't stand you guys and I get that you can't stand me. Let's just ignore one another for the good of the board.

If you are unhappy that they got fired, then you have to be unhappy with the guy that did the firing.

If you say that the lack of talent is what got them fired then you imply that Hue isn't smart enough to see that they didn't have enough talent to work with.

If on the other hand, Hue isn't a liar and he simply wanted Horton to make changes to the defense that he didn't want to make, then that is a valid reason to part ways.

I can ignore you pretty easy when you don't start claiming fiction as fact and are not dictating to everyone on the board what they should or should not do. Which is almost never, so I doubt that is going to work very well.

The Raiders did not retain their offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18446...r-bill-musgrave

They promoted their QB coach to offensive coordinator.

Carr was progressing really well. Strange move.

I agree, that is a strange move. Their offense was one of the best in the NFL this year. Carr is progressing nicely.

that's a weird move w/musgrave. Surprised me to read

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

From what I've read they really liked the QB coach and didn't want to lose him. They chose him over Musgrave.

I read somewhere that Mike Tice's contract was up. Any chance we look at him as Hue's top Offensive assistant?

We can do much better anyway. Not saying we will but it would have been a downgrade in my opinion.

It also looks like the Rams are probably going to hire Sean McVay (Washington's offensive coordinator).

Doesn't Hue have Cal connections? Sonny Dykes as QB coach maybe?

Anyone interested in Bill Musgrave. He was just let go by the Raiders.

Part of the reason Sonny Dykes was fired was because he didn't have enough Cal connections.

Here's a weird one ... your gonna love this one Vers ... *L* ...

Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports the Broncos are "finalizing" a deal to make Bill Musgrave their new QBs coach.

The Broncos interviewed Musgrave and Mike McCoy for their offensive coordinator position. In the end, they decided to hire both coaches. As expected, McCoy will fill the offensive coordinator role with Musgrave handling the quarterbacks. Musgrave, who served as the Raiders' OC in 2016, drew interest from the Bills and Browns as a coordinator before deciding on Denver. With McCoy and Musgrave on board, Denver's offense will have a chance to take a big step forward in 2017.

Yes ... it says QB coach ... can't believe he's a QB coach ... hmmmm ... makes me wonder if he didn't like the pressure of being the play caller ... *shrugs* .... who knows ...

Joseph has a pretty good staff and FO ... let's see how he does ...

We hired DeWayne Walker as our defensive backs coach.

http://www.ohio.com/blogs/cleveland-brow...walker-1.740098

I don't know much about Walker, I do know he was beloved when he was the defensive coordinator at UCLA.

Also, I just had this thought, shouldn't there be a corner backs coach and a safety coach? They seem like such different positions that they should have different types of film study, teaching, etc. When we have run the 3-4 we have even had inside linebacker coaches and outside linebacker coaches.
