So the facts are that the party who claims the moral high ground as it pertains to Christians, being so moral and having such high family values are the exact same people who just elected a morally bankrupt candidate. They nominated him and elected him. So basically, I don't want to hear any more BS from them about it.

From a personal standpoint, I don't think Clinton was any better. But I also don't see Democrats making all those same claims that the GOP makes about religion, morals and family values in their political platforms.

Let me put it this way, if Trump had ran as a Democrat, which he seemed much more like not that long ago, you would have heard every minister, GOP woman and politician talking about what a morally bankrupt person he was. How if he can't even follow his promise to God about marriage, how can we trust his word about running our country? How can a man with children from three different women be someone they could ever support?

All of that is being ignored because he's not Hillary and ran under the GOP. Face it Arch, you know it's true.

Project out 4 years? Trump is 70. He won't be up to another 4. Dems, Independents and Progressive will hammer the GOP on November 6 2018. There will be at least 33 Senate seats up for grabs and I believe 34 Governorships. Trump won't be able to get anything thru Congress.. and these women that marched are absolutely going to remember.

Trump will be a 1 term jackass.

Obama was trying to take away one of the few things our country gets right on his way out.

You miss the whole point, which is that Hillary's platform and policies are far more repugnant to Christians and conservatives than Trump's moral failings.

In 4 years the media will be limited to only reporting what the government approves.

The top 1% becomes the top .5% and people will still blame Walmart employees for ruining the economy.

Coal minors will still be unemployed and even more jobs will be automated.

Fresh food will be more expensive than eating at an expensive restaurant every night, but only the top .5% will be able to eat an expensive restaurant every night.

Citizens will be required to report on Muslims or fined.

Russia and the US will have increased their nuclear programs.

And the Browns will still not have made it to the Super Bowl, but it will host one because the average temperature for the year will be 68 degrees.

There were many, many Christian leaders who spoke out against Trump and some even said they'd vote for Clinton.

The MAIN issue was who would fill the SCOTUS seat that was stolen from Obama.

a. We already have serious media bias to the point of the press engaging in outright deception and propaganda. Add to that the education system and entertainment, and you have full blown mind control

b. All liberalism does is keep the poor poor and make the middle class poorer by raising taxes.

c. line 3 is going to happen either way.

d.The only answer libs have to line four is raising the minimum wage, which raises prices and accomplishes nothing.

e. Under the libs, eventually citizens would have to report Christians or be fined or imprisoned.

f. Trump's policies will have little or no effect on the climate, about the same as Hillarys would have.

Rationalizations as to why Christians would support a morally bankrupt candidate when those very same people lambasted Clinton for the exact same thing won't fly.

I do agree with you that Hillary was a terrible candidate and I would be no happier with her as POTUS. However, at some point we as people have to stick to our moral compass and uphold the values we espouse. That wasn't done by many in this election so I don't want to hear their BS about family values and their moral beliefs anymore.

You either live up to those values and stick to them or you don't. When you support a morally bankrupt candidate like Trump, you don't.

I think Trump will be a great president (just in case you forgot ) but maybe you can take some solace in the fact that he only won a plurality of votes in the Republican primaries. Most voted for somebody other than Trump.

I read it, I had considered making some remark about how it was just satire but I know that it is not. Some people actually think that way.. smh

As far as predictions four years down the line: I am not sure what unemployment, foreign policy, the economy, or health coverage will be like. I could make some educated guesses but I'm not sure they would be any better than what other people's educated guesses are. The world is changing at an accelerating rate. It's hard to project out that far.

One prediction I will make... those who are easily upset may want to skip the rest of this post... is that the hostility we see between the two 'sides' will continue to be and will probably get worse. There is just no compromise on the most contentious issues because the two 'sides' want the exact opposite thing in many cases.

So we'll fight and bicker and let out our frustrations in mostly unproductive ways. Current technology seems to mean arguing on social media and groups causing havoc in the streets. Who knows what the future will have in store? What's not going to happen: the two 'sides' generally liking each other and treating each other with mutual respect.

By the way, this has little to do with Trump. He has brought some controversy but I would think the same thing if Clinton was the president, or Sanders or Cruz for that matter. It's more about ideology than the specific politicians.
