That said, I don't know how many Raider fans in Oakland will continue to support. The drive from Oakland to Las Vegas isn't very direct because of the mountains...they almost have to drive to LA. I'd say it is close to 600 miles. Maybe more. It's like $100 for a Southwest flight from the Bay Area to Vegas if you plan it right. I still don't think many are going to follow the team. When the Browns moved to Baltimore, did you follow them? Would it have made any difference had the team in Baltimore kept the "Browns" name? Didn't think so. The Raiders fans are a little different. They still supported the team when they moved to LA and now the LA fans still support them now that they are back in Oakland. If I were a Raider fan I'd worry about home games in Las Vegas becoming a neutral. Many fans of opposing teams will see it as an opportunity to have a fun, easy vacation.

NFL is reportedly upset with Chargers, wants them to move back to San Diego I'd understand it too. This may undermine trying to have the Rams slowly readjust to the LA market.

Don't the owners still have to vote? I'm slightly confused on this. Yes, the owners still have to give their vote of approval. I am not sure on this, but it seems that it would take 7 no votes to kill the moves. I am pretty sure this will get a yes from the majority of owners.

I've got a strange feeling this will cut it close. It seems a LOT of owners are kind of pisses at the thought of the Chargers potentially screwing them.

If there was any fairness either the Charges or Raiders would move to ST. Louis. They didn't deserve to lose their team.

What is obvious is that owners are driven by stadium deals. Any city that wants to keep a team in a crappy stadium is flirting with disaster. Cities need to be looking at that blueprint if they want to keep a team. I don't think any onwer has moved a team simply because they wanted to do so.....maybe Al Davis did, but a stadium has always been the driving issue.
