The tear buckets are already overflowing from the past eight years.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

And that just got broken. They risk their lives for absolutely nothing.

If Trump does indeed go through with this, then as a combat vet, I'm truly ashamed as to what we have become.

Someone who received a promise 15 years ago, and has not taken advantage of it by now ..... especially after we pulled most of our troops out ....... well, how badly can they want to come here?

This anecdote, while almost 30 years old should shed some light on things.

Way back in '88, I was in the Philippines in the Marine Corps. Some friends and I were in a taxi on our way out to town to act foolish. Some of my friends were extolling the driver to exceed the posted speed limit, to which (serious paraphrasing going on here) he replied:
'I can't, if I don't get a ticket for (my memory is kinda vague on the amount of time he stated but it's within this range) 15-25 years, I GET AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP.'

So no, waiting these 15 years for the promised visa isn't a stretch, or a sign that they don't want to come here.

They're just putting in their time.

Why would they do that if what guys like you say is true?

I am all for free speech, but all some of you do is bitch about how terrible this country is. It isn't terrible and people are doing everything they can to enter this great country.

Stop being spoiled brats who stomp your feet at everything that doesn't go your way!
Trump is the one who claims America needs to be great again.

It's the whiney snowflakes calling everybody else snowflakes that don't make sense. It's your country. The rural, fly over state, elites have control.

Stop crying snowflake.

May I ask you what the hell you are talking about? I don't even like Trump. I have said so numerous times.

May I also ask you what a "snowflake" is?

Crying? LMAO...........I ain't the one crying, son.

I think it's deeper than that. They got caught losing at their own game. Remember when they all said they wanted Trump to get the nomination? Their friends in the media tilted the coverage to him non-stop. The Media gave him nearly a billion dollars worth of free advertising.

That's a lot of money to spend to ensure one's own misery.

It kinda reminds me of Obama the 1st time around. Limbaugh evidently said that all of his listeners should cross over and vote for him in the primary, because he could easily be defeated because of his very thin resume.

Ooops.

I'd be cool with a split at the mississippi, west for libs and east for gop. Or the other way around. But I would have to move away from most of my less intelligent friends and family. My mom, kids and grandkids all make the cut though smile

It would never work for conservatives because there would be nobody else's business in which to put their noses. And they would starve without technology. 90% or more geeks are libs, more college educated people are libs, more professors are libs, more teachers are libs... Most young people are libs too, so good luck growing your side. We could just wait until they die off then claim the land back but it probably wouldn't be habitable.

Got links?

The food you eat is grown by farmers. Period. Unless you, like I, have a garden, kill your own meat, or buy what you don't kill from the local butcher shop. You know, steers, hogs, that are raised right here.

Nah, most libs live in urban areas and think the world revolves around them. No link to that, just m.o.

Split the country. While the conservatives work the land and raise animals, the libs would be on the other side saying "dammit, feed us, we have this new technology and no one is buying it and we're getting darn hungry."

lol, guess who leads the country in technology like "vertical farming", just a little growing technique that might save the world during climate change and overpopulation, that's right, GEEKS. Yes it's my fault and all the smug libs like me. Had nothing to do with Hillary cheating Bernie and 40% of libs saying screw that. At least you admit that it wasn't because Trump was right for the job. Now put away your victim cards. I just give as good as I get, that's all.

Well, if this isn't the kind of "bring-the-country-together" type of rhetoric this country needs, then I don't know what is!

And where would the open-minded people who can see things from more than just one side live? You know, those of us who think differences in opinion are actually a good thing because it brings balance to society and we don't feel the need to choose just one side.

By that definition you are one of us. Liberal progressives don't hate ideas and differences at all, but that has to be a two way street. So unless you prefer the river in the middle or can see the Trumpian GOP being as receptive to your views, you answered your own question.

Real Americans LMAO, your the ones who have to live on the east and west coast because the rest of the country doesn't want them around.

Take a look at just how many states were red and blue in the election and look at how large Trumps winning numbers were in most of those states. If it wasn't for California, and New York Hillary would have been making her concession speech at 3 PM on election day.

Liberal flight. I left the middle of the country for a more progressive surroundings. As have many of my friends. Sadly that makes those states redder and the coasts bluer. What it doesn't change is the majority of the population, about 3 million more that is, still voted for the democrat. The fact that it's represented in 2 states means nothing to me.

The fact that most states voted for Trump means a lot to me. I don't think anybody should be able to lose in 30 0r 35 states and still win the election. But that's just my personal feelings.

I like the term "liberal flight".

It's, so called, liberals who have been labeled as elites, yet it's the red states that have been voicing their beliefs about what it is to be a real American.

Now they have absolute control. Their leader is pushing executive actions faster than congress can put them on his desk.

Libs, dems, non-extremist conservatives, or whatever you want to call them have no control over where we're heading.

Scientists are being censored and names within the government are being listed.

There are new elites now and that means there's no need to continue complaining about non-conservatives.

Every problem and success now belongs to the rural elites and the tycoons they admire.

All anybody else can do is wonder why Trump and his followers are still acting like victims.

Sad!

I know this doesn't change your overriding point, but just for the record, California accounted for the entire difference in popular vote and then some.

Overall: Clinton 65,853,625 | Trump 62,985,105
California: Clinton 8,753,788 | Trump 4,483,810
Minus CA: Clinton 57,099,837 | Trump 58,501,295

Just as I believe that a smaller percentage of conservatives living in Nebraska, Iowa, and the like shouldn't be making policy for the much larger populations that live in coastal cities. Just because they 'own' more states doesn't mean they should be governing the larger population as a whole.

It seems to me like you are essentially arguing in favor of states' rights.

Let the people in Nebraska, Iowa, and the like run things how they want to. Those in liberal areas could do the same. Everyone would be happy. (besides the complainers)

Heck, if we just throw Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago out, Trump won the rest.

One thing I see with the way many Democrats and/or Liberals is this; the way they are acting now is an amplification of the very same actions and policies that chased many middle of the road voters away from the them in this past election.

I think that it's rather amusing that the people who called for "tolerance" for so long have, in many cases, become the people who are absolutely and totally intolerant of anyone who doesn't share their views and ideals. The fact that the left tells people "agree with us, or else", was never more strongly on display than with the inauguration, where some who wanted to participate were told that they would be disowned by the Hollywood types of they did.

The message they are pushing right now is, "be tolerant of all opinions and views ...... if they agree with us!". It is amazing watching some of these groups supposedly protesting the intolerance of others ..... while being incredibly intolerant themselves.

8 of the 10 fastest growing states in the country voted for Trump in November..

And you can have all of those educated professors and teachers... the red states will get by with other stuff, like food. and energy... and when our technology becomes obsolete and you run out of food, we can negotiate a trade deal.. and if history repeats itself, you will give us very good terms to grow our economy while handcuffing your own.

And if this ever happens, I am going to begin manufacturing trophies and I will export them to your liberal utopia, since everybody will get one. thumbsup

Good Post YTown: I wanted to high light a few things that I don't think any of our more Lib posters ever addressed.

When I read the Hate thats oozing out of some on here, I can't believe some of our own Dawgs are talking the pure filth that I'm seeing on here. I'm really ashamed of some of you. You know who you are. I'll be standing by, to hear the answers to the above questions. I guess your ways are alot different than my ways.
