It is listed in the breakdown I posted. I know in my six school district three of the school were built before 1910, one I believe was built in 1875. The highest maint. cost school is the high school which is only about 30 years old. Cleveland schools do have advantage when it comes to state money for buildings. There is a program in place to refurbish and replace buildings outside of normal costs. Also in the state of Ohio building funds are seperate from operating costs. That is the reason you see a lot of building work being done yet they claim they can't by books, two different pots. If you want to find out how inept your school board is, go to a meeting.

My school system is actually good. My kids are in Gahanna schools, which is one of the better systems in metro Columbus.

It is very diverse, yet scores very well. The disadvantaged percentage was only 14% and I think that is why overall scores are so good.
