Mayock said during the Senior Bowl that Trubisky will measure at 6"1' during the combine. That is pretty short for a top QB pick.
It is, but I for one don't think height is a game breaker. It depends on how they play. Flutie got screwed out of many years of NFL play and had to play in Canada.
Flutie was a heck of a QB, and proved it at the NFL level. Too bad he got his shot when he was 35. The guy was a winner.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
Not sure what you mean unless you mean where are your groupies. of sorts.
As with any ratings, they are somewhat subjective.
I don't agree, but I can see Fournette rated as 2nd. He's pretty darn good. I don't see Mitch rated 3rd, but do understand that a QB gets a bump by abount 10 points due to the position.

I didn't make anything up. I posted an excerpt from MKC. Link and everything. If you want to say she fabricated, fine I don't know who her sources are.
But do not challenge my integrity.

Is buttcheeks one word? Or should I spread them apart?
Nobody rated higher than 7.6. I thought that was odd until I looked up the last few years, 7.6 is a tie for the highest grade since they changed their grading system.
Still, only 2 players this year listed in this group.
9.00-10 Once-in-lifetime player 8.00-9.00 Perennial All-Pro 7.50-7.99 Future All-Pro 7.00-7.49 Pro Bowl to All-Pro Ability

Mike Mayock to Browns: Don't take a QB at No. 1, Don't Trade Down
By: Luke Easterling | 22 hours ago
After a 1-15 season, the Cleveland Browns currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Last year, Cleveland owned the No. 2 pick, but elected to trade down and stock up on extra selections instead of taking a potential franchise quarterback in Carson Wentz.
Will the Browns trade down again this year, or pull the trigger on a top passer?
According to NFL Network’s Mike Mayock, the answer is none of the above.
During NFLN’s broadcast of the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl, Mayock made it clear who the Browns should take at the top of this year’s draft (via NFL.com):
If you’re a Cleveland Browns fan and you’ve got the first overall pick, root for them to take Myles Garrett from Texas A&M. He’s got length, he’s got get-off, he’s explosive off the edge. This kid’s got everything you want. Spin move, relentless, can set the edge against the run. At the No. 1 overall pick, if I’m the Cleveland Browns, I don’t see a quarterback there, I don’t want to trade down. I want to get a difference-maker right now.
You won’t find much argument on this one. The Browns already have a pair of picks in each of the first two rounds of this year’s draft, and Garrett is easily the consensus top overall prospect in the class.
There’s still no clear-cut front-runner in this year’s quarterback class, and certainly not one that should make the Browns pass up a rare talent like Garrett. Cleveland also spent a third-round pick last year on Cody Kessler, and still seem committed to giving Robert Griffin III a chance to fight for the starting job.
For many different reasons, Mayock’s on the money with this one. The Browns should take Garrett at No. 1 and not give it a second thought.
...Kansas State ran away from Garrett pretty much every play he was in the game. They poked him in the eye to get him off the field.
Kansas State had to game plan around him. He may not have had a huge impact on the stat sheet, but he impacted the game.
Grimm...here ya go, you can watch every play..
All I'm doing is giving an honest review of what I saw on video. Mr Garrett needs to spend some time with DC Gregg Williams. I believe Williams can fix what is wrong with MG.
If Garrett had a motor like Solomon Thomas, he could be one of the best ever. If the Browns draft Garrett, I believe Williams can help Garrett become one of the best ever.
I have the game DVR'ed. I watched it over the weekend.
Kansas State had a mobile qb in Ertz which resulted in a scheme that called for more discipline and contain principles. Garrett wasn't asked to pin his ears back and fly to the ball.
Still Kansas State avoided him. Count the number of runs at his edge for me. How many did you get? How many were successful? He can only do his job.
He'll see more pocket passers in the NFL. If we pick him, we might not see opponents sitting in the pocket all day and converting seemingly every third and long play.
You mess with the "Bull," you get the horns. Fiercely Independent.
Well, it wasn't moved, so ask me if I care. I won't post it theee times. I find that being somewhat redundant.
Do you know the content that was in those posts? So how do you know if it wasn't moved or not? And you obviously care or else you wouldn't post about. Lol. And I posted 'wrong thread' 4 times not three. If you're giving the high hat at least get stuff right.
The Cleveland Browns control their own destiny with the No. 1 overall pick, but earlier today, Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com polled five personnel executives to ask them what Cleveland should do with the pick. It was unanimous — all five said the team should select Garrett. The quotes from the executives included:
“I don't think the Browns have a choice. ... It has to be Garrett. He has such rare physical tools. He's clearly the best player in the draft."
"Garrett makes the most sense. The Browns are switching to a 4-3 defense and he fits perfectly. He's the best player available and he fits what they need."
"There's no quarterback this year worthy of the first pick. Plus, next year's QB class is going to be much better than this group. So, if you reach for a quarterback this year, you miss out on a player like Garrett and you remove yourself from taking a much better QB next year? That doesn't make any sense. Just take Garrett at No. 1."
"Don't overthink it. Garrett is an elite talent at the second most important position on the field."
"I'd be shocked if they don't pick Garrett. I guess they could trade down, but they did that last year and missed out on (Carson) Wentz. I thought that was a big mistake."
Put a gun to my head and force me into a decision today, and I’d take Garrett too. Talk of a quarterback will make for some good debates, but ultimately, Cleveland could be going defense.
Here is what I find most amusing. You have several guys who rip mac all the time for beating up the FO. Now, they are defending mac's attack on Garrett.
They don't get what he's up to.
mac knows that Garrett is the odds on favorite to be the first overall pick in the draft. Thus, when the Browns take him, mac can continue his crusade to rip the FO, and all those guys who are supporting him now will be going:
vers...so I have to follow the crowd and ignore Garrett's negatives or I'm "attacking" Garrett.
I can understand why the Browns would make Garrett their first pick but I can also understand why the Browns might try to trade the pick. I'm just not in love with Myles Garrett...
mac, I believe calling Garrett lazy is something you made up and not simply "ignoring his negatives."
If Mac called him lazy I missed it.... but even the scouting report that was linked in the initial post on this thread states scouts are convinced he took plays off. So call that what you want and interpret it how you want, but it appears to be a consensus opinion. If it was to protect himself from injury I can understand that, which is what Clowney did. After an injury plagued rookie season, Clowney has been excellent this year and no issues with his effort. I expect the same with Garret.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Every player takes plays off, especially in college..I think everyone is missing where scouts also calling him relentless, that doesn't sound like something you call a lazy player..We are sitting here with a chance to take a guy that teams will actually have to game plan against and people are spaceballs combing the desert looking for any reason not to take him..
