Today President Trump met with the heads of the Pharmaceutical companies and everyone agreed with him they will work together to get drug prices down.
He then met with the heads of various agencies under his control about Cyber Security. The president said he intends to hold his Cabinet secretaries and agency heads “totally accountable for the cyber-security of their organizations.” Mr. Giuliani, a top campaign ally of Mr. Trump who heads the cybersecurity firm Giuliani Partners, said the government needs to work as a partner with the private sector on cybersecurity.
Tonight at 8 eastern, Trump will announce his pick for Supreme Court Justice. I have heard a rumor he will announce 2 picks and tell the Senate to choose the one they prefer.
He'll put up 2, one rather conservative, the other a radical right wing activist... it will make the rather conservative one look like a heck of a deal to the democrats.
Come to think about it, Trump could turn this into a show!
Each night the two are interviewed and you have to figure them out.
At the end, the Senate puts their choice in a sealed envelope and hand it to Hillary who walks over in a nice gown and hands it to Trump.
The two candidates sit in chairs in front of Trump who opens the envelope, looks at them, pauses, and then Fires one of them and congratulates the other!

Thank you Donald
Yep he offered to sell us out to big Pharma. Lower taxes, check. No regulations, check. Immediate approval or denial, check. (Based on what data, gut feelings, kickbacks or profit margins?)
They will in turn bring some jobs. AND this is the part the media was allowed in for, then the closed door negotiations started, the sneaky stuff.
And Cyber security was glossed over... we need to know more about that that subject before Donnie get's his pens out.
BUT I'm glad you are happy 40 After being on the losing end for so many years you guys finally get to gloat. And I have even more good news for you; Walmart has clues on sale, you should go get one.
From what I know of him, I love this pick. He is supposedly very strongly in the mold of Scalia. Plus, he should be on the bench for decades to come.

I am just so happy that Trump didn't yell, "AND THE WINNER IS..."
I thought that he might say "You're hired!".

Private companies kicked off the new year with a hiring spree, according to the latest report from ADP and Moody's Analytics.
Amid an explosive month surrounding President Donald Trump's inauguration and the flurry of activity that followed, firms added 246,000 new workers to their payrolls, the report showed.
That compared to expectations of 165,000 from economists surveyed by Reuters and marked a substantial jump from the downwardly revised 151,000 — initially reported as 153,000 — in December. January also turned in the best single-month performance since June.
So that's still obamas victory. Thanks for posting!!
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I do realize I often come off as a "Mr.know it all" when it comes to Trump but in my defense I have to tell you that I grew up with the Don.
My Dad was a Donald Trump like businessman. I understand Trump like its in my DNA. While others lose sleep over what he is doing, I laugh to myself and recognize my Father in most of his moves. I see the moves, I see the direction, I recognize the goals and how he is trying to achieve them.
Here is something else I know. Trump took office with the Nation split right down the middle, his critics are in riot mode and the Media will put a negative slant on all that he does.
You are witnessing his handling of the Media as he meets with certain people for interviews while cutting out others. Their bottom line depends on ratings. He provides 24/7 around the clock food for them between what he does during the day and his tweets at night. He basically is the News these days.
Next thing I recognize is how he can not win over his critics with charm as they hate him. Senators boycott him, people riot over him, others want to blow him up or wish him dead.
How does he overcome this?
He has taken up the strategy of "Leadership by Chaos" and its working. He gets done what he wants done while putting out statements and actions, each day, that has his critics running in circles, unable to organize, as there are so many issues to attack him on, they end up running around from protest to protest, and it is becoming old news having people in the streets.
Well, you will have to forgive the other 350 million of us then because many of us wanted change in the Washington establishment.. those of us who were unsure about Donald but willing to give him a chance expected there would be some bumps in the road... we (well at least me) were not expecting the kind of total chaos that has ensued.
My fear remains that this is not an episode of the apprentice... you don't follow these competing factions around all day while they struggle and fight with each other and then call everybody into the room at the end and Donald tells them who won.
These are peoples lives and livelihoods he is playing with and the cavalier attitude in which he does it is very concerning to a lot of people.
In his business if he is cavalier and things don't go well, only he and his company are really impacted, and he goes bankrupt, which he did several times... but if it blows up on him this time.. we all go down.
I agree with most of what you say except it is not a game, he knows that. He is changing things on a daily basis, undoing 8 years of abuse to our economy. (from a Conservative view)
Okay, then where does this lead us, it can't keep going around forever can it? Maybe they will get tired and go away?
Trumps goals are to vastly improve our economy by jobs growth, lowering corporate taxes and unnecessary regulations to make America super friendly to business, put more money in the pockets of the middle class and to fix trade agreements made by idiots.
His critics are out to delegitimize him as President and stop him in his tracks. They can continue to go nuts for the next 4 years, or they can go away, as long as Trump can continue to make the changes he wants to make, they are simply another issue to be managed.

(And this is in reply to 40's comment about Leadership through Chaos)
Right now Trump has the momentum so I don't blame him for taking advantage of it. But the chaos to me has more to do with how the media and the Left are reacting to what he does.
Look, Trump isn't doing anything in secret. He's also not doing (to this point) that he hasn't already said he wanted to do. What he's doing is not a secret. Heck, he released the list of Supreme Court nominees way back as Candidate Trump so that people had several months to vet who they were.
Yes he is moving at a break neck pace, but the media could easily catch up if they weren't so consumed with making up stories, purposefully slanting and misrepresenting issues, and stopped trying to make legitimate issues out of irrelevant issues i.e Inauguration attendance.
If the people covering him actually did just that, we wouldn't see all this "chaos".

But when you bring up inauguration attendance, the media reported about it but it was Trump who went ballistic about it and drug it out, not the media. Trump attacks, name call and generally has a tirade about anything or anyone he disagrees with.
Some things I stick up for Trump about. But you can't really blame the media for the fact he reacts to things like a petulant child.

Exactly my point, except I think he feeds them and they react emotionally. They are out to get him, not cover him. Heck, Last night he gave them Arnold Schwarzenegger for overnight snacks!

I don't blame them for that, but I do blame them for spending all that time trying to make it a relevant issue when it wasn't. It was a non-story. There were a lot more important things going on those first few days that they chose not to cover.

Perhaps it's just me, BUT, go to most of the news cites. The headlines are constantly bashing him over absolutely anything they can find and/or make up. Or maybe it's just the places I go?
And perhaps I need different facebook friends, as about 95% of the political posts I see are bashing trump in some manner or form. (granted, they only come from about 6-8 people - but man, some of the "journalistic freedoms" the writers of the articles/ the "news" cites quoted.......wow. It's gotten old, real fast.
Partial truths seems to be the way journalism works now.
If Trump called a News conference and proceeded to walk on water, The next day in the Media you would read, "Trump Can't Swim!"
I don't know that they are that bad yet.
At the very least it would be another issue where liberals pretend to know anything about the Constitution and declare this as an example of a violation of the Separation of Church and State.

The guy says and does enough to give plenty of ammo for bashing, yet the whiny lefties keep running with half truths and fabrications. My facebook page is also full of memes that are BS presented as facts.

It seems this stuff is pumping up the Left to the point where they lose it after awhile. I saw it in the DC riots and with Swish yesterday.
Here in DC, they brought up those rioters who were arrested during the inauguration on Felony charges. While interviewing a man on the street, they asked for his thoughts and he replied, "They ruin these young lives with Felony charges over what? Trump? pfft."
It is all kinda sad seeing the over the top reactions.

If I may borrow one from Pit, only the way I see it, it's the media more than Trump. Did anyone of us NOT notice the way the media blew up after Trump won the election? Man, you talk about "petulant child" The media IS acting like a spoiled brat. I don't blame Trump one bit for lashing out. Pit how many times has someone slammed your post for one reason or another and you came "lashing back"? Any of us would and do. If I was Trump, I would forbid CNN or any other liberal news outlet from covering anything at the Whitehouse, make 'em stand outside.

I'm not even sure partial truth is even the focus anymore. The news has become less about the factual reporting and more about telling us what to think. Tons of media time is based upon that. Individuals on Fox/CNN/MSNBC have made their careers by telling their viewers what to think and believe.
Hell, it's gotten so bad that We The People have bought into it hook line and sinker. I think about people in my own family who pretty much see that some event happen and basically turn on the news with the intention (subconscious) to find out what they should think about the situation.

What else should we expect. It's all about ratings, followers, likes and re-tweets now. It's a popularity contest and the 24 hr news networks are at war for followers and ratings. They pick and choose their sides then spin away while they slam the others into oblivion with alt facts.
Can't get ratings without sensationalism. Can't get followers without getting ratings. The beat goes on... That is until we all get over the Internet honeymoon and we all start to move away from the social media and 24/7 news channels and get on with real life and real people.
