He was the top performer at the combine in long jump and vertical Incorrect. He was near the top. Conley had the best vert for example. Sorry. Regardless, he has a very good vertical. +1. Athletic guy who got the "raw" label at the time.

I'm sure the signing is around league minimum.
ERFA's salaries can be calculated specifically based on credited seasons, and while relatively low, will not be league minimum. Sorry.

I think the combine measures or to validate what the scouts/staff see in film of the receiver as in how it relates to their success in the NFL.
If he looks fast but is going against a bunch of slow defenders...when he gets to the NFL all are fast.
So if they like what they see on film and then add a good 4.4 speed and vertical jump...it validates and lifts his stock on their board.
Use every tool available. Interviews although they are getting so well coached by their AGENT Camps that the 15 minutes from the combine doesn't do the good as it use to. Its the visits where they spend all day with staff including dinner ect.
