Find anything?

I remember hearing it, but couldn't find it. It doesn't appear to be in any of the written transcripts, though I haven't checked the ones earlier in the season. I was going through the videos that didn't have the transcript written, and didn't hear it there either. Those were rather depressing.

I wonder if the Browns took it down? Not a very reassuring thought to me if they are seeing a franchise QB and are trying to hide it.

It was a quote by one of the announcer's on the Thursday Night game who had interviewed Hue during the week.

If you want to like dirty players that's fine. But let's call a spade a spade. You said he wasn't dirty when he's one of the five dirtiest players in the league.

Burfict, Suh, Incongnito... not sure who else even comes close.

I didn't make this draft for points. I made it as a omg I wish it could happen this way.

Your score is: 10224 (GRADE: B+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 7 (LAC): Jonathan Allen, DE/DT, Alabama (A+)
Round 1 Pick 9 (CINN): Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee (A+)
Round 1 Pick 12: Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina (A+)
Round 1 Pick 20 (DEN): Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin (A)
Round 2 Pick 6 (LAC): Ethan Pocic, C/OG, LSU (A-)

Your Future Picks:

Transformed our O-line AND our D-line into power houses. Plus we have a QB for our future. The future would indeed be bright with a draft like this =)

I know we had a big drop off this year from Schwartz, but I think Pazstor and Coleman aren't bad. This was Pazstor's first year being a starter and Coleman's first in the league. I'm not sure bringing someone in new will be an improvement (I'm not sure it won't be either).

If we had 7, 9, and 12 as you have, I'd prefer FS or CB at #20, but that's just me. That being said, I'm up for improving the team any way we can, and adding a talented OT is never a bad thing.

There are no FS worth drafting in the first round other than Malik. Heck bare ones you would want in the late second round. Its just a HUGE drop off. Although you might be able to draft Humphry CB and turn him into a FS since he likes to hit big guys. I might have taken a CB if one I liked had not been taken.

With Ryan you get a legit RT. You don't have to give him the job either but let him fight for it. It's a great thing to have depth on the O-line. Ethan would also make a great guard so if Cam gets his chit together then even better. We can always move Cam to guard too. Ethan though would be a monster upgrade for run blocking.

I just love the idea of having our o-line, d-line, and QB of the future settled for a very long time.

@Razorthorns - I get what your'e saying, I just would prefer other positions.

Per FS at #20, you're right, but I won't be surprised if Budda Baker is taken in the first. His size is his biggest liability.

I love a good mock as much as anyone. If there were 100 mocks that came out today by Rang and Brugler and clevesteve ... I would have them all read by the end of the day tomorrow. But when I see guys who should go 2nd round getting drafted in round 6, I just can't take it seriously.

Pazstor was not good at RT he was a little lost, he did make some improvements still I would be shocked if he is penciled in as our RT. I expect to see Coleman get the first crack at it. And I read the use of Pazstor at RT was one of the reasons our OL coach was fired.

If Greco is not ready to start the season, I expect to see Pazstor penciled in at the starter for RG.

I took Webb earlier than I should have, but I didn't want to miss out on him. I really like Derek Rivers from YSU after watching him for a long time now. I was very, very pleased to get Garrett and Foster in the 1st, without having to move up for Foster. I don't for a second believe that this draft will happen .... but I'd be pleased with it.

I haven't touched Chad Wheeler in any mocks because of Walterfootballs take on him. Off the field concerns + police incident + pyschiatric evaluation = huge concern

Quote:

Chad Wheeler, OT, USC
Height: 6-7. Weight: 280.
Projected 40 Time: 5.00.
Projected Round (2017): 4-6.
2/11/17: Wheeler barely played in USC's first two games after missing most of training camp with plantar fasciitis. He was banged up during the 2016 season, but served as a decent blind-side protector for Sam Darnold. Sources have said they are grading Wheeler on the third day of the 2017 NFL Draft. He has some talent athletically, but they have major concerns about him off the field.

9/3/16: Wheeler has been the starting left tackle over the last three seasons for USC. He was a quality left tackle for the Trojans in 2015. However, Wheeler missed the Holiday Bowl after an incident with police that caused him to be placed in protective custody for a psychiatric evaluation.

Wheeler is a skilled pass protector with quickness and athleticism on the edge. He does need to get stronger for the NFL though. Wheeler broke into the starting lineup as a redshirt freshman at left tackle and did a quality job for the Trojans. He improved while a sophomore, both as a run blocker for Buck Allen and a pass protector for Cody Kessler, but tore knee ligaments after eight games to end his season.

quarterbacks usually rise up the boards as we get closer to the draft. if we stick with Garrett at 1 and sf and Chicago went for qbs, how possible/impossible would it be for us to try to package picks for the jags and move up to 4 for Allen?? would transform our d line. would 12, 33 and a pick next year do it?? would we want to do it??

I'd do it, and wouldn't question it at all as long as next years pick isn't higher than a 2nd.

Draft Rae Kwon McMillan from Ohio State, and have him play at strong safety, or scheme him in as a 3rd safety.
If there is one Buckeye I want from this year, He is the one,

and will this help them beat Pittsburgh? I think so.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.
