seriously, we're really gonna freak out about a february loss when we had 3 starters down?

When will people learn that the regular season means nothing when you're the Cavs and the East is set up the way it is.

If we still had Love or JR, we'd have won, both those guys are just as dangerous from outside as anyone else and would've added enough points and Love rebounding would've been a big help on defense.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM

my point is simply even when fully healthy Chicago beats us, but more my point is how we just simply can't win without lebron...which causes us to put alot more miles on him than we should..bottom line is we need to find something that works that allows us to sit him quite a bit while still remaining competitive..

You were the one who brought up last year when you said the Bulls beat us last year, too. I countered that we won the championship and the Bulls did not make the playoffs.

You respond w/insults.

Look...........losing a game to the Bulls in February w/out 3 starters means next to nothing in the grand scheme of things and it's preposterous to draw dooming conclusions from such a small sample.

I wouldn't worry about the Bulls until they can actually beat us in a Playoff series ... which hasn't happened since Jordan was playing for them.

you're talking for a series I'm sure, because we were a lebron hail mary from the corner from being down 3 games to them in 2015. But like i said, this is more than Chicago, I'm just saying being 4-19 without lebron is bad..i can get losing some without him but we aren't even competitive, its going to be hard to keep the 1 seed and rest him, so either we are going to figure out how to win and he gets rest or we get a lower seed and he gets rest, either way..he needs to come down off that 37 minutes a game

We #1 in the East and they won't touch us in the Playoffs..... given that, throw 'em a bone and let them think they're something in the regular season; that way, maybe they won't work so hard to get themselves fixed wink

The Knicks just released Brandon Jennings. Think he'll go for a vet minimum to stick it to the Knicks?

Wonder why they would release Jennings? He put up good numbers for them this year when he got the opportunity to play?

Because they're the Knicks ... he's one of their best bench players too. Remember that game earlier this year when he led a pretty fierce comeback against us when Carmelo was sitting on the bench?

ESPN.com news services

The New York Knicks have waived point guard Brandon Jennings, a source confirmed to The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears.

Jennings' waiving, which was first reported by The Vertical, comes in his first season with Knicks, with whom he signed during the offseason to back up Derrick Rose.

Averaging 8.6 points and a team-high 4.9 assists in 24.6 minutes per game this season, Jennings recently told the Knicks he wanted to play for a title contender, the source told The Undefeated.

The Knicks looked into trading Jennings after the point guard expressed a desire to move on, sources told ESPN, but no deal emerged prior to the deadline.

The eight-year veteran has previously played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic. He was an all-rookie first-team honoree with the Bucks in 2009-10.

Waiving Jennings will give the Knicks at least $5 million in additional cap space this summer to sign free agents.

The Knicks will sign Chasson Randle later Monday to replace Jennings, a source said.

Randle will sign for the rest of this season and is expected to have a partial guarantee for next season. He played well for the Knicks in the preseason, but the team waived him after he suffered a broken orbital bone shortly before the regular season began. Randle played in eight games for the Philadelphia 76ers this season before being waived as part of the Nerlens Noel trade.

Randle's agreement with the Knicks was first reported by The Vertical.

ESPN's Ian Begley contributed to this report.

Dolan needs to sell..lol, the knicks that is..it's amazing how bad they have been for so long...Jackson hasn't proven he can do anything other than coach teams with top 5 all time players. If he really wants to cement his legacy he should just coach and get a real GM..but he's just coming off as a curmudgeon. Get off my lawn

Has Williams cleared waivers yet?

not sure why media is so slow to report anything...hate cleveland media..they are always last to know. Haven't heard if Dwill signed or not..not sure why he wouldn't have by now as its pretty much zero negotiation.

Bogut was finally bought out, he'll clear waivers by weds

Bad thing about Bogut is other contenders want him as well, like houston, who can give me 3 million. Bogut has to decide whether he wants to bet against getting to the finals in the east with lebron, or being able to knock off the Warriors in the west to get there..

If he goes anywhere besides GS or Cle it's because they paid him more and that's what he cares about.

He already won a title.

And, I know you didn't say this, who cares if he cares more about making money?

Not sure if anyone noticed but Bogut gave the Cav's trouble when he was with the Warriors.

When everybody is back along with Williams and Bogut and playing together for awhile I like the Cav's to win it all again.

It's because Thompson and Frye struggle against actual big guys. It's kind of why we're signing a guy like Bogut.
