I wonder if Hue wants Dre Kirkpatrick...whom really has never blossomed into what he was supposed to be has he had issues with injuries? Yeah various injuries and inconsistent play..Was just seeing if there is perhaps ties..He isn't all that very good at all, as he was targeted a lot if I can remember...and I have no idea what his market will be, but I'm sure everyone will be getting paid this offseason lol

He is actually ranked by PFF as the best CB defending the deep pass. He's still young and alot of length to him He's better than any current Browns CB right now

Perhaps I'm reading it wrong and you're explaining Dre Kirkpatrick....if so my bad, as you mentioned having lots of length to him...and I know Kirkpatrick is wiry.

Guys I'd like to see the Browns target in FA;
JC Tretter, C, GB Kevin Zeitler, OG, Cin Johnathan Hankins, DT, NYG Stephon Gilmore, CB, Buf or AJ Bouye, CB, Tex or Trumaine Johnson, CB, LAR
I don't know the safeties, but if there is a good FS available...
I doubt we could land all, but some of the above would be a good start to plugging some of the holes.

Patriots informed Donta Hightower that they will NOT be franchise tagging him.

Tony Jefferson played both safety spots at Arizona, then they had Buchanhon move to ILB, Jefferson slid into SS role...but switched to FS here and there for different looks and when injuries happened (I think when honey badger was out)

Not sure, but I think he was talking about Kirkpatrick. Yeah Vers...I think that whom he meant...as Revis is far from young, and if I remember Revis had a [censored] poor year in regards to his "norm" Always interests me when we can steal a division foes asset!

No problem at all. I do recall Kirkpatrick getting over on Peyton Manning 2 years ago Maybe he could thrive in a Williams defense where pressure is constantly being applied vs opposing qbs

Focus on one big time guy and go get him.
I don't see much downside with Zeitler. He would be my target.

I don't know it Pierre Garcon would be considered a big time guy but I would target him. Big bodied receiver with good hands and I hear a great work ethic

j/c: Texans not expected to use franchise tag on standout CB A.J. Bouye, per source. Doesn't mean they won't re-sign him; just no tag. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/836896736073428994

I bet they resign Bouye. He's got such a good future to let go

Kaepernik is opting out of his contract with Niners. Just say no!!! Not just a terrible QB. But, a horrible person!

Would really like to see them sign Pryor and Crowell to long term deals. So do all I would suspect. As for Crow, we placed a 2nd round tender on him. If he gets offers they will be serious offers and his market will be set. We can match and it is done. The only way we don't and decide to take the pick is if there is a poision pill similar what Mack had where he can opt out after a year or two, or something like that. If he doesn't get offers, well, that sets the market as well and puts us in the drivers set to get a deal done.

Just say no!!! Not just a terrible QB. But, a horrible person! lol. Cause he takes a knee during the anthem? Meanwhile we've got guys who want to trade for Sheldon Richardson....... There's plenty of worse people in the NFL than Kaep I don't want him because I just don't think he's that good. That and he was wearing a Dolphins hat in 2013. That always rubbed me the wrong way. You play on that team, you wear only that team's gear. You can do the trade jerseys thing like the soccer players do, but as QB of the Browns you only wear Browns hats (the same would go for the 49ers). Kneeling during hte National Anthem is a personal choice based on politics. He took a lot of flack for it, but he never waivered. It's his right, and there's a lot more things in the NFL that can [censored] me off than that. You know, folks committing actual crimes that actually hurt people

Kneeling during the national anthem is not a political choice it is a sign of respect. Respect for those that gave their lives for us in war. If he cannot have respect for that I want nothing to do with him. lol, first, you wrote it wrong. Standing during the anthem you mean. But I get it. But to you, kneeling is a sign of disrespect towards those that give their lives for us. But maybe not to him. Maybe to him kneeling during the national anthem is a point he's making about living in a country, that he perceives, doesn't represent (protect, etc) him the way that it does for others. He isn't hurting anyone. We've had worse guys on our team. Cosey Coleman for example. Then, the dude doesn't even vote.
He's a fraud.
When I heard this, I was disappointed. I always vote. At least in national stuff. I've missed a few of the local ones because i've been out at sea or whatever. But on the National Level I always get my absentee ballot. IMO, if you don't vote (and you have the right to), then you clearly don't care that much. Even if you don't pick a candidate, there's a bunch of races going on. You can always write in or vote third party. Some people say that's throwing away their vote, I say it's making a statement, and you can still voted in all the other races. So yeah, this was disappointing to hear. But, like i've said, we've had worse. Lord knows what happened in that incident in the car between Johnny and his g/f on the way home from that party. If her side was true, he's worse than Kaep, right off the bat

Berry signed with Chiefs.
Making my #1 FA signing Calais Campbell. He would be our 3 tech DT. DL Garrett, Shelton, Campbell, Ogbah
I would like for us to sign Zeitler - he's still young and lock that position up.
I know Hightower wants to be a Brown (Collins buddy)
Can Carr finish his career at FS?
Strong draft for DBs...I would be a happy camper with Campbell and Zeitler!

Not to shoot you down EO but with Campbell being above 30 and a pretty bad fit for 3T as he's incredibly long and thin even for a 5T I find it hard to believe he's coming here. He would get gobbled up bad as a 3T I think. He can be really good on the edge with his length but put him in a box and ask a 6'8 man to win with leverage not length is not smart imo. Hankins would be a much better fit

What about some of the second tier guys, add some depth. I.E. Rex Burkhead Cordarrelle Patterson, love him as a returner/3rd or 4th WR but probably gonna be to pricey. Ryan Griffin Luke Willson Jack Doyle Dominique Easley Datone Jones, 3Tech./DE

Maybe Poe? He's gonna turn 27 in August. Him along with Shelton, and then Garrett and Ogbah. It would def be a formidable line........ And Gilmore. He'll be on the market. Anyone think he fits our system?

News coming out that Jimmy G. will not be traded. Quick question anyone like Mike Glennon signing with Cleveland? Not a great record as a starter, but also on a bad team at the time. Sign him at 27 and then draft young guy with Cody? Thoughts
