Just clicking
I'm not at all sure Trump or his team had anything to do with Russia. I've seen reports, some credible, others not so much.
But, if a POTUS (any POTUS) is linked in anyway to a country like Russia, it must be investigated. I'm not talking about a quick look see, I mean deep investigation. FBI, CIA, Cyber Crimes, Homeland.. The whole alphabet agencies.
Clear him, then move on. Or, Find him guilty and deal with it in an appropriate manner.
There should be no American that takes issue with that, unless you are worried about what can come out.

Yep, there are problems but we have a new administration and we will see where they take it.
The past administration would have just gone ahead and paid full price for those jets, this one did not. I see it as a good start.

They already have and are continuing to investigate this and have found nothing.
Your call to spend the money and tie up the political process for something the CIA, FBI and others have found no evidence of seems a waste of effort.
If we had a special prosecutor for each outlandish accusation the Left has made against Trump, we would have about 27 special prosecutors running investigations and the Nation would grind to a halt.
Like the boy who cried wolf, the Left and the Democrats have lost all credibility.

We would not have paid "full price" for the jets. To his credit, I did appreciate the fact that Trump did at least call out Lockheed and Boeing. That is something that needs to happen more to bring their shadiness to light.

Before we give the military more ... lets get the overspending cleared up and see where were at ... Unfortunately, I think that both have to be done on the fly. Much our military equipment is in very poor condition, and those who serve this country deserve better than hunting through museums for parts for the planes they fly. Yes we need someone to go through military spending to root out overspending. It will have to be a fairly large operation, too. The military is an immense expenditure of money, and we need to find thousands, or maybe even millions, of areas of waste. It's going to be a long process, and we can't hold up getting our service-people necessary equipment.

Here's the thing...
Lowered defense spending will be spun as the government taking food off of servicemembers' tables. The political opponents of anyone who suggests a defense spending cut will go this route to notch a political win.
We spend an absurd amount, and yet something like 2/3 of our navy's fighter planes are in a state of disrepair, and maintenance on our boats is being continually pushed back, leaving them in a diminished and unsafe state.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

That's my entire point. Lean out the spending, change the culture, and see where we're at. It doesn't help to cry about wasteful spending and then pump more money in. That makes no sense. And hell, I work for the place that gets the money so it's in my selfish interest to receive more.
To the others, where are you getting all this info that our weapon systems are in a state of disrepair. Now, the actual accommodations for our troops I could see, but man, between all the retrofits and contractor logistic support contracts I've seen, I have a lot of evidence to the contrary. Our weapons are doing pretty darn good.

Report: FBI once reached agreement to pay former British spy who authored explosive Trump dossier http://finance.yahoo.com/news/report-fbi-once-reached-agreement-222950252.html(U.S. President Donald Trump signs H.R. 225 in the Oval Office of the White House, in Washington, DC, U.S. February 28, 2017.REUTERS/Joshua Roberts) The FBI reached an agreement to pay the former British spy who authored the dossier full of unverified claims of President Donald Trump's ties to the Russian government, The Washington Post reported, citing people familiar with the agreement. The dossier was compiled by Christopher Steele, a former MI6 agent who worked in Moscow. Steele was ini tally hired by DC-based opposition research firm Fusion GPS to suss out the connections between the Trump camp and the alleged Russian hacking emails from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman. The FBI had reached an agreement with Steele as early as October to pay him to continue his work, though the FBI did not end up paying Steele as the dossier became the center of a media storm, The Post reported. Steele wrote a series of memos — compiled into a 35-page dossier by Fusion GPS and published in full by BuzzFeed in January — that alleged the Russian government, led by President Vladimir Putin, had cultivated Trump for five years with the ultimate goal of "encouraging splits" in the Western alliance among other salacious details. Trump has condemned the dossier as "fake and fictitious," though certain details have been corroborated by intelligence officials. Many of the allegations in the document remain unsubstantiated, however. Michael Flynn, Trump's recently ousted national security adviser, was named in the dossier after the Kremlin funded a 2015 trip to a gala honoring the 10th anniversary of Russia Today, a state-sponsored news outlet. Flynn resigned earlier this month amid a separate Russia-related firestorm.

Yes, now it is ours and oh what a load of crap we are finding about Obama as Trumps victory caught him off guard and he didn't have time to clean it up.

We will attempt to show empathy for trump when he shows some for the American worker and bring his jobs back from overseas.

We won't know until he brings his jobs back from overseas.
Which means we will never know.

No admin finds itself stymied in controversy like 46's.
Show one admin that contained tons of questionable ties; a good example would be the ongoing Russian factual investigation.

Sorry man........not into it.
I am so tired of the polar sides.
You guys bash me all the time, but you don't get that I hate the polar side just as much as I dislike your side.
I am ALL for getting together, working out our differences and working together for the greater good. Yet, you somehow mistake that intent and try and lump me in w/a group I actually despise.
I'm tired....................

https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/politic...80HO/story.htmlSenate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer is calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign. Several Republicans and Democrats have called for Sessions to recuse himself from an investigation into Russian interference in the U.S. election following the revelation he talked twice with Russia’s ambassador to the United States during the presidential campaign. The conversations seem to contradict sworn statements Sessions gave to Congress during his confirmation hearings.

Yep, Fake News!
The Democrats are pretending and running around like their hair is on fire in a desperate attempt to get the Media to run with this false narrative.

Sessions denied this in his confirmation hearing. His denials holds no water as he met with Russian officials. Every major news outlet corroborated this report.
Actual facts do not constitute as fake news.

Nope, Fake News!
He said...
"I have not met with any Russians at any time to discuss any political campaign."
And he didn't. And there is no proof that he did, only false accusations.
