Darnold...I stated over a month ago that he is the next Great QB ala Luck. Our timing sucks to be #1...smh
On the weight stuff...remember a gallon of water weighs 6 pounds. If it benefited me to be heavier I'm drinking water till I'm ready to puke...lol
I have been on him for a good while. I am not sure gaining more draft assets will help secure him. I mean if you need a really good QB, why trade him away. That said, next years QB class is way better than this years. We will improve, but not so much we won't have a decent pick to begin with unless we trade for JG or Kessler blooms beyond my expectation. We wiull be able to trade up to get a QB.
I am beginning to think we need to trade down a little at 12, gain something next year, and maybe this year as well, and then offer that pick to the Pats for JG. If he isn't the guy, we will still have the ability to move up next year with the added asset.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

It's probably not as crazy as it seems. First, it tests basic thinking and deduction, second it tells the coaches whether or not this kid is going to listen and do what you tell him or if he is going to balk at something that he might not understand the reasons for.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
Looks like I got ahead of myself. Davenport hit 18 reps on bench today. Very low even if he does have 36 inch arms.
Jon Toth also put up 18 reps. Pitiful.
How many can you do? lol
18 is girly. I was doing three sets of 25 with 225 pounds when I was in my late 40's
Well I can't do any. And I just think it's funny calling 18 reps at 225 on a bench press pitiful for a guy who plays football (and doesn't bench press) for a living. Pretty silly calling it pitiful at all.
Doesn't even matter if he bench presses for a living or not. I can't do any, seems like a lot to me.
I think Chris McCaffery can easily be a 1,000 yard 50 catch RB.....but then i saw that 4.49 and watched him catch the ball and his vert and 3 cone and thought if im him to hell w/ RB I'm playing slot WR
I don't know why fournette showed up at 2:40 Tamia kind of shows a lack of discipline lack of awareness but it still go out there and blaze it up with the 452 at his size pretty impressive

Thanks for the correction I thought it was higher than 6 but I figured if I put 8 that would be worse as an over exaggeration than the under!
But yeah NY water has bubbles in it so its lighter...lol
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
It's not like the guy looked Clarett Pudgey. The guy could become a wrecking ball.
you are preaching to the choir when it comes to fournette I Love The Kids tape. He's a locked up chiseled up dude no question period but that's not what I'm talking about. To me there is a certain professionalism that comes around draft time that I value for example I don't really care about the bench press as a measure of strength to me the bench press is a measure of how much work you've been putting in how much discipline you have and how much the preparation means to you. A look at the 40 the same way. And even more than that I look at weight the same way I would rather have seen fournette show up at 2:32 and be able to maybe get a higher very be getting even faster 40 after all what have you been doing since the season ended and you skipped your bowl game. Bear in mind for that is by far my favorite running back in this draft class I just don't understand why you showed up at 2:40
I think Chris McCaffery can easily be a 1,000 yard 50 catch RB.....but then i saw that 4.49 and watched him catch the ball and his vert and 3 cone and thought if im him to hell w/ RB I'm playing slot WR
My kid told me about that Vers. Do you have any info on what the argument was about?? Mayock acted like this wasn't a big deal, but it would be to me if I were a GM.....how do you loose your cool on the biggest job interview of your life.

Your welcome, hey, your brewery's could brew better LIGHT BEER!!!!!!

I think he'd have more longevity as a receiver and option at running back. I think he's a great talent. Not saying draft him but talent makes us better.
Combine Report 3/4: Free Agent Rumors & More on Reuben Foster
Tony Pauline Draft Analyst Writer The story garnering the headlines this morning at the combine is the behavior of Reuben Foster as he waited for an MRI on Friday. As with everything else in life, there are two sides to every story.
While this in no way justifies Foster’s behavior, I’m told there has been a lot of disorganization and inefficiency with player visits to the hospital for MRIs, something that has been a problem for years.
Take into the account the experience of Boise State linebacker Tanner Vallejo, who awoke on Friday morning at 3:45 a.m. for combine medical checks. Throughout the afternoon, his schedule was filled with interviews and team meetings. That evening around 7 p.m., Vallejo was informed an MRI was requested on his injured wrist, which necessitated a trip to the hospital.
So he went, and he waited and waited and waited.
Vallejo eventually arrived back in his room at 3 a.m. in the morning -- almost 24 hours later!! And while Foster’s behavior cannot be excused, having players wait in hospitals for six or seven hours for simple procedures is also unwarranted.
I doubt Foster’s anger at waiting in a medical office, something most of us have experienced, will negatively affect his draft stock.
The bench press numbers have not been anything to brag about this year, and several sources have confided in me that they believe the bench they are using is narrower than usual, which has led to lower numbers than expected.
Players are having problems getting leverage on the bench, and many have come off the bench with sore shoulders.
While people applauded Samaje Perine for completing 30 reps, the running back had been consistently pushing up 35 reps in training and expected to replicate that number at the combine but had problems with the bench. Utah guard Isaac Asiata hoped to complete 40 reps and expected at least 38 but finished with 35. He also had problems with the bench.
Pac-12 receivers Chad Hansen of Cal and Darreus Rogers of USC are players who also had issues with the bench.
Sources close to the situation tell me the New York Jets plan to make a big push for quarterback Mike Glennon once free agency begins on March 9. With that being said, the vast majority of people in Indianapolis believe Glennon will be wearing a Chicago Bears uniform in 2017.
Expect the speedier receivers such as DeSean Jackson, Robert Woods and Kenny Stills to receive huge contract offers once free agency begins.
I’m told Jackson will receive a contract that will pay him close to $12 million annually.
The belief right now is Jackson will end up with the Tampa Bay Bucs, as the combination of weather, a big-armed passer in James Winston and no state tax will make it tough for any other team to match.
Waiting at hospitals is nothing new. I waited for several hours after arriving at the hospital at 5:30 A.M. on Thursday for my knee surgery. I didn't go off on anyone.

Agreed. Dude needs to grow up. This is life.
We should not allow nor excuse players for an entitled attitude. Nor should they go in believing they have priority over the public. That too just leads to some of the grotesque issues we see over and over with the young, rich & "famous".
Anybody have any idea how much an MRI machine costs? Just curious that with as much money as the NFL has that they don't have their own hospital setup right there at the combine.

You don't judge a prospects strength compared to your own . 18 is pitiful. I was a NT/RG in college and I did 23 the summer before I enrolled and was only considered above average. 18 will make him weak at the next level.

Why not both?
I don't follow? I mean fulltime slot/WR
I think he can play running back and play in the slot. Use him wherever he is needed on a given play. He is a matchup nightmare.
I would not have taken him at 12 before the incident....that is way high for a MLB who has had struggles against the pass.
I wonder if the NFL guys don't do some of this 24 hour stuff just to see how a kid responds to pressure? I mean they have been waited on and treated special for most accounts in college, it would make since to see how they respond when things go wrong for them.
This probably not the case, but they have been known to do some really weird stuff to test guys at the combine.

No one will be able to tackle him at 240. I think he could even gain more weight.
