There are talks that Myles Garrett will run a sub 4.50 forty yard dash and that he will weigh in around 270 pounds. That is not human. Sounds like his ankles healed ...

That is my expectation as to what we will do draft wise as well. MG at #1, QB at #12. I am thinking they are high on Kizer.

I would be very pleased w/Garrett and if it is a qb at 12, I hope it is a trade for Jimmy G.

i do not think there is a qb in this draft as good as garrapplo. i would love it if we could get him with 33 but we do need to get him.

I am still hoping that we take Webb later in the draft.

There is no good way to link to it, but on Daniel Jeremiah had Myles Garrett's high school football coach on episode 162 and his high school basketball coach on episode 163. I believe both interviews are near the end. Obviously the coaches are just on their to shill for their guy, but it was interesting nonetheless. http://www.nfl.com/podcasts?series=movethesticks-podcast

I pick up WTAM down here in the early morning hours. Obviously no link to what was being said, But Mike Snider said the Pats aren't interested in trading JG. Obviously he is passing along things he has heard. While a good local sports reporter, I doubt he has a inside track in to what the Pats are thinking, but just a FYI.

The Browns need to stay focused on Garrett as their likely pick at #1 but be willing to listen to possible trade offers.
If those trade offers do not materialize, make Garrett the Browns #1 pick.
While I do have concerns about the effort MG gave during the 2016 season, I feel that the Browns have the best possible coach (Gregg Williams)to help Garrett address his weaknesses.
JMHO, but Gregg Williams opinion of Garrett could weigh heavily on what the Browns do with the top pick. It will probably be Williams and Hue interviewing MG..hope it goes well.

I would assume that Greg Williams will be in there watching film with the group. At least when looking at defensive prospects. I am sure his opinion will carry weight.
It could be he likes Allen better. He may want a penetrating tackle to bring more up the middle pressure. He may feel that Ogbah and Collins will be able to bring it on the outside. Maybe he puts a premium on taking away the run up the middle?
Lots of factors we simply don't know. We will just have to wait it out another 6-7 weeks.

Pretty sure Garrett is a done decision.
At 12 one has to ask themselves for the long term. How good will Kizer, Tribusky, Watson be in 2-3 years when we are ready to make our Run???
The more I think about it Kizer might be our guy. But its a total hunch with no facts behind it...lol

My mind is made up. After reading the intel here and watching tape - Garrett should be our #1 pick. I was tossing Jonathan Allen around, but the jist I get is the upside for Garrett is sky high.
Give Greg Williams a monster to work with along side Danny.
Ogbah, Shelton, Garrett and <whoever> already sounds like a line that could gobble up the run and apply pressure. The linebackers should be able to roam around with that front. Oh exciting!!!!!!!!!!

I might dance naked in the streets of Tremont if it's Garrett @ 1; Trubisky @ 12.

pretty much saying what most of us with the exception of a few are, that there isn't anyone even close to Garrett..to think of taking anyone but him would be silly

May I ask what is the gbnreport? Great Blue North -- one of the older, more solid draft sites out there. I have no idea what their reputation is like lately, but historically, they've always been pretty solid & reasoned, and have avoided hype.

People around the league I've spoken to, unanimously "would be stunned" if the Browns took anyone other than Myles Garrett at #1 overall. https://twitter.com/AllbrightNFL/status/837393495266578432

Get it done. I've put in a fair amount of research and given the team's needs, I think he'd plug in great here. Greg Williams should be able to help him progress to reach that high upside every eludes to!

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

He's the type of player we've coveted for our D for years: a game-changing pass rushing nightmare for opponents. Wimbley didn't make it happen, Mingo.... nuff said right there.... Courtney Brown couldn't stay healthy... I forget who else... I didn't need to watch the combine to believe he is a MUST-HAVE but it's nice to hear he was beastly out in Indianapolis.

Insane numbers. 272# running 4.64 and jumping 41". Terrifying. Veni, vidi, vici. Kid is a freak you can see it on tape. But to see him put up those numbers at his size and move the way he does is still impressive.

He's the type of player that OTHER teams will have to game plan for. When's the last time we could say that about a Cleveland Brown? Not only that, he'll make the players around him better too. That's something else we haven't been able to say for a long time.

I am still freaking out about his vertical. Dude just exploded off the ground. Never saw anything quite like it. 41 inch vert, 33 reps on the bench, 4.6, 40. A 275 lb man. Seriously, what isn't there to like? What else does he need to prove?? Oh....he also has tape....he can play the game.
