This was great. He interviewed people from Scotland, France, Germany, and Italy. Please note who gets the subtitles.

Just to explain, I am sitting watching this series of interviews with my wife. All of a sudden, I just started cracking up laughing. My wife, who is from Scotland, wanted to know what was so funny, and I told her to check which people are getting subtitles. The Scots, who are native English speakers. I've told her for years that no one understands them.

Correcting someone's grammar is one of the lamest things you can do on the internet.

First, let me say that I know my grammar is not perfect; sometimes I read old posts of mine that have clear mistakes but I know that I do a decent enough job of getting my points across.

If you're going to correct someone else's mistakes, make sure you don't regularly make your own. Since you are unable to conjugate simple verbs (we was) and unwilling to do the simplest capitalization, you are probably better off just avoiding the topic altogether.

It was a ridiculously nice, friendly shot.

You really starting to sound like a triggered sensitive punk lately. Please, grow a pair.

? You got triggered over something that wasn't directed toward or about you.

Nor was it serious in any manner. I got a chuckle out of boarder. Remember that the next time you throw a hissy fit over something that doesn't concern you.

I can handle anything. It's clear by your post, however, that you seem to get butt hurt whenever I post something.

Get a girlfriend.

This is not the first time that you and a couple other like-minded posters have hounded others due their spelling or grammar. It's lame, it has always been lame, and it will always be lame. You saying that it was a "ridiculously nice, friendly shot" is a total cop out. You don't do ridiculously nice, friendly shots. I know from experience.

That makes no sense in this context. Haus isn't a lion.

Voting for trump, he's definitely sheep, though.

Haus, I'm sorry if I ever said anything about your grammar, although I don't recall doing it.

And I have to say Swish is way out of line with his comment to you here. He doesn't even know if you like girls, so he shouldn't be telling you to get a girlfriend.

Dude I've been hounded over my spelling too on this board.

A. It's no big deal, and
B. I didn't see you coming with your shining armor to defend me when it happened.

You have serious problems if I bother you this much. Go outside, get some air.

No, there are legitimate risks (political, business, and personal) that come with openly supporting Trump that I fully understand. I know deep down that I'm on the right side, and if that comes back to haunt me sometime in the future, so be it.

It is too bad that you would stoop to such a level. You can hide behind political correctness and plausible deniability, but you know exactly what you are trying to insinuate here.

I used to think that you were one of the respectable liberals on here, and one that I could find a lot of common ground with in regards to the anti-establishment positions that both the Bernie Bros and Trump Trainers have. You have become a shell of your former self.

For the record, I'm doing just fine in my personal life. What you and Swish are trying to get at is p-a-t-h-e-t-i-c.

Sorry but you signed up for the long haul.
You are one of the few sensible posters around here. thumbsup

My advice is you be more like Trump...

Ever notice the Lion? He has a great and waving mane. He is powerful and wise. He lays under the tree, hot, strong, at rest.

The Jackals run around, disrupting the world around him but he pays them no mind. He is the King, he is at rest. The Jackals become braver and braver, nipping at the other animals and running away. Making accusations and chuckling from the bushes.

Then one day they go too far and the Lion arises to destroy them all. Without mercy he tears them to pieces.

Yea, you need to be more like that. thumbsup

I appreciate the kind words. You're alright too, sometimes smile

Be careful yourself of latching onto Swish. You never know when he will ramble about taking out cops, or the "bigoted ass, divisive, war mongering, fake ass Christians, do as I say viagra taking white guys" that he hates on here. I'm not a particularly religious guy myself (I plan on making a thread about this) but that is some hostile stuff. Change one or two words to something else and that becomes even more clear.

Anyway, to clear up one thing... it's not so much that I'm loyal to Trump. Well, I am, but I know that he is not perfect. He has his faults, and I have never shied away from that. You have to understand that I enjoy his rhetoric, and I like many of his policy decisions, even if I disagree with some here and there. If he truly went off the deep end, and I came to that conclusion myself, I would have little issue with supporting somebody else. I hope it does not come to that, but it's not like my support is unconditional.

Swish is a good guy. Sometimes its fun to get into it with him, but dont take it seriously. As far as liberals go, he's pretty moderate and more sensible than most. And he makes a lot of smart posts. For a liberal. wink

Personally I've gotten tired of all the accusations of being a racist alt-right member who should post on stormfront, along with the new thinly-veiled inferences that I'm gay (all of which are pathetic, none of which are accurate.)

So with that said, you'll have to excuse me if I've backed off my previous statements that Swish is fairly moderate, sensible, and a good guy. I no longer think any of those things, although he very well may be a good guy in real life. I've never met him and I don't think having disagreements on the interwebs should carry over into the real world.

noun: boarder; plural noun: boarders
1.

I have to back Swish in this instance. If somebody just spells a word wrong, and you jump on it to belittle them, very poor form... but if somebody spells a word wrong and accidentally spells a different word that makes the sentence kind of funny.. then have a little fun with it.

In a food thread I once said my favorite food was Chesapeake Bay Blue Craps... I took some good natured grief for it.. it's funny, folks need to lighten up... have some fun and stop taking ourselves so damn serious.

Gee, even I knew he was just hitting on you.

what's wrong with being gay?

Do they have a track record of being treated unfairly in this country or something?

I'm glad I got that out of my system. All well.

i actually don't, though. you didn't enlighten me on anything...but that's normal so all well.

I LOVE Watters ...

Maybe some of our lefties should see what open boarders really means.

board·er
ˈbôrdər/Submit
noun
noun: boarder; plural noun: boarders
1.
a person who receives regular meals when staying somewhere, in return for payment or services.
a student who lives at school during the semester in return for payment.
2.
a person who boards a ship during or after an attack.
3.
a person who takes part in a sport using a board, such as surfing or snowboarding.

sure, i've seen a few open boarders, i guess.

Here's the thing DC, you are one of the most level-headed posters on here and respected by almost everybody, and certainly by me. (I apologize if you don't want that on your brand rofl)

You don't get much hostility directed at you. Swish and I go back and forth a lot. See my comments a few posts above yours. Almost every time Swish responds to me it is combative, and that is how I usually interpret his posts now. I would not have responded like that to any other Dawg.

Very difficult to hit a man on top of a fence, swaying this way and that, and have it stick.

how is it combative? do you read my post in your head with some angry black guy voice?

I'm typically laughing when i respond to you. if you think it's combative, that's your insecurities showing.

Haus is too nice. He needs to learn that sometimes internet debates means saying stuff that lights peoples hair on fire.

Swish does that with me, with a vengeance. I'm guessing he'd say the same about me.

It is what it is. (however, has he ever threatened to knock you out if he ever met you? smile Chill swish, chill)
