Cam is a crumb.
He was dismissed from the Gators for stealing a teammates laptop.
Stealing is pretty weak on it's own. Stealing from a "family" member is a whole different deal.
That said, Cam is a pretty darn good QB, but the same negatives he demonstrated at Fla are still with him today.
I wouldn't want him on my team. Physically gifted, but flawed as a human.
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn. GM Strong

If this were Cam Newton, this charity thing would be getting all kinds of hype.
Kirk was out of line. You don't put your hands on another man, unless you are ready for them to reciprocate. When you are a 28 year old NFL player, 6'3", 220 lbs.. and you shove a 5'8" 200 lb, 50 year old lawn care superintendent who is volunteering to ref a charity football game.. the chance of retaliation is pretty slim unless the guy was going to shoot him. So he is either an out of control hot head, a real coward, or both... Indeed.

Play a potential and unprecedented three-way deal forward… #49ers inquire about Cousins. #Redskins talk about Tony Romo. #Cowboys get picks. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/837792837110378496

Screw that, just do this deal..
Browns get Jimmy G 49ers get Cousins Bears get Bortles Jags get Romo Pats and Cowboys get picks Washington gets RG3...

“If I had to guess … I’d say more likely than not that Kirk Cousins ends up being the 49ers QB” — @MikeSilver https://twitter.com/ChrisWesseling/status/839189487112474624This makes a lot of sense. It is clear that Washington does not want to commit to Cousins long term (I have read that they think Colt McCoy can have similar success). Kyle Shanahan has coached Kirk Cousins previously and tried to trade for him when he was our offensive coordinator. The 49ers have a ton of cap space. What would it take the 49ers to get him? I would assume at least a swap of first round picks. (Side note: Washington's GM is not currently with the team. They don't want him around the team facility for unknown reasons.)

If Cousins is actually traded, then whatever they get will be more than what NE should expect for Jimmy.

I can't friggin believe this is happening. And it really seems like its gonna happen. Local media (Washington area) is buzzing about this. Hearing that Kirk doesn't want to be in Washington.

They're saying he's trying to leverage his way out. They already know he wants out and won't resign. Might as well trade him while you can.

Might as well trade him while you can. this is soul crushing and its proof of an idiom that I believe whole heartedly....a bad franchise can't have a 'franchise' QB. We've (Burgundy and Gold) had 2 bites at the 'franchise' QB apple. 2! and by the end of this off season we may have nothing to show for it. SMH.

I didn't realize you were a skins fan ed. I feel for ya. Even back when they took rg3 I had zero faith it would work out. They may win more than the Browns but I just get this toxic feeling for anything redskins.

Nah, don't feel bad for me. Washington is my team but I'm no longer a 'fanatic". I'm more a fan of the league as a whole, big time football nerd.
Plus after the season when Mike Shanahan sold Rex Grossman and John Beck I couldn't take the franchise seriously anymore. Griffin kinda brought me back. But there is too much BS with my franchise...

Did they say why he wants out? I would infer (IMO) that part of it might have to do with the teams obvious lack of faith in him. When he could force his way to SF and play for a guy he knows well, and probably knows believes in him.

I was just wondering.
It seems odd because Grudin believed in him and gave him the job and got RGIII out of the way. One would think that there would be a connection there....

That's what I thought, Vers.
I recall the articles on how RG3 was more of a 'Shanny' QB, and Cousins is more of a Gruden QB.
Weird. My bro-in-law is a 'Skins fan. My heart goes out to them. We know this feeling all too well.

Why wont you give your stud QB the money he wants? Why are you looking to trade him? Maybe he really is just a douche that the team doesnt want to rally behind.

Kirk Cousins appealed personally to owner Dan Snyder for a trade but was basically told not to get his hopes up, per sources. https://twitter.com/mortreport/status/839878104361406464What a mess. At least Cousins will have $50 million.

So Washington just fired their GM in the middle of free agency and two months before the draft. They then leaked that he was fired because he is an alcoholic. Slimey. A live look to Washington's headquarters:

No wonder Cousins wants out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jay Gruden told Cousins he can only be traded if he gets to leave with him..
