I listened to him a couple of times when I was back in Ohio. Man, the guy is annoying. He was ripping people in Ohio for rooting for Ohio State when they didn't actually attend the university. What a douche.

In fairness, he did say "chances", which would mean multiple.

Anyway, I guess this fits here as well as anywhere.

The Browns spent a boatload of money yesterday. Wnhat's their cap situation? Whoa!

If we take the time to look at the above information and think about the front offices inability to get their own free agents under contract...what the hell is the front office doing..over valuing other free agents while kicking their own players in the teeth, claiming the asking price was too high.

The Harvard boys can spend $98.1M in guaranteed money...but they could not find the dollars to sign Schwartz or Pryor.

With an owner and front office that devalue their own best players, their chances of ever building a championship team is zero.

Joe Thomas' little talk about retaining our own players..the Harvard educated boys weren't even listening and they don't have a clue where JT is coming from.

Pryor and Schwartz both wouldn't sign the best contract offered to either of them ...how is that on the FO?

You're losing ammo, mac. Whattaya gonna do when they re-sign Pryor and you only have one bullet left in your clip? Don't become the crazy old man in the corner mumbling, "Schwartz... Schwartz! We've all been Schwarted!"

They found the money to give him the best offer he's received.

vamp...you can pretend you know the numbers...I know you don't. Not getting Pryor resigned after having a freaking year to get it done...that is a failure.

They have no problem over-spending for someone elses free agent...but can't seem to get a deal done for their own.

BTW, lil Sashi tried to low-ball Schwartz...tell us how that worked for the Browns last season...did lil sashi find a replacement for Schwartz?

Then there is the "we are changing the culture BS"...Britt has been in trouble with the law something like 9 times.

..

If he is as good as you deem him to be wouldn't have another team snatched him up by now like they did MS?

This is on Pryor and his agent.

Bet you are a blast at a poker game, you sit there with what you think is the best hand you bet no one calls ...you get upset saying your hand is worth more than what's in the pot so you raise yourself just to have more in the pot.

mac, Browns made highest offer so far. He doesn't want it.

In order for you to be satisfied, Sashi must match Pryor's demand even thou 31 other teams think his request is to high. That is a bit of a head scratcher.

Pryor will be back because we will pay him more than anyone else and the bottom line (especially with agents) is how much $$$$$$$$$$$

Now you have locked Schwartz in with your Pryor agenda cause without him it makes you look silly. I see you don't state Pryor anymore you state Schwartz and Pryor...smh

How can you even bring up Joe Thomas when he tweeted...let me see...I want to get this right.

"Here we go Brownies, Here we go! Woof!!! Woof!!!

This after our signings yesterday. Hmmm I'd think he was right proud of our FO...don't link him to your agenda...that would be an insult to Joe T.

If you believe I have a losing argument, so does the guy who said the following...

".....you have to keep your good players. You can’t keep getting rid of good players and think you’re going to get better."

It was Joe. And we have kept our good players here and been more than fair about offering the ONE free agent that left more money than he was offered by anyone else. And they have more picks in the next two drafts than god. And they traded for and resigned Collins. And they acquired two top free gents.

Lets hear a round of applause for the FO. They truly deserve it.

He's right Mac, we had a solid 4 year offer on the table for Pryor, and he screwed around and ended up having to sign a 1 year deal.

Out FO played this masterfully. It's not our fault he decided to sign a 1 year deal.

I understand why he might want to do that, because he wants the chance at a 15mil a year contract. Had he signed ours...I assume the Britt deal or a little better, I doubt worse, he would be 31-32 when it expired. He wasn't going to get a whopper contract then. He feels he can do a 1 year deal and still get a bigger one next year.

I hope he is right, because if not, he just made a BIG mistake. It's not like he is 23-24 years old. His relative playing timeline is shrinking rapidly.

At any rate, our FO had his value pegged perfectly. Faulting them is foolish. We tried to keep a good player, but he thought he was better than the market said he was.

I hope for his sake he views this 1 year deal as his last NFL deal and tucks away $1.5 mil to fund a retirement account, and if he hasn't already paid for a house, do that as well.

$8 mil a a nice lottery win at age 28. But that isn't enough to live like a rich man for the next 50 years. It's enough to be very comfortable for the next 50 years, assume he still works at something for the next 20 years. Then at 50 he will have accumulated enough to live a nice lifestyle for the rest of his days.

I wish him well.

What's the difference between Pryor and Collins neither were drafted by the Browns?

On June 22, 2015, Pryor was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns placed a $1.671 million tender on Pryor on March 7, 2016

I think they are, but fair enough. I can live with that.

They explore angles that NFL teams haven't in the past. The Brock deal is a master deal, IMO.

We were probably pushing the window of getting fined for not meeting the salary minimum, so rather than pay the NFLPA in the form of a fine, we pay a bad player and get a 2nd round pick!

How good is that!
