That all sounds like great logic, but you're missing the actual catalyst. Dude just ignored a woman and her paternity case for two years, gets a warrant for his arrest and has to supply his DNA. The next week we learn that Josh Gordon is now a father. A few days after that, maybe even that same day, he's back in rehab. After he entered rehab we started hearing that he got suspended again.

There are some Ifs ... But IF he is reinstated, and IF he overcomes he addiction and stays clean, and IF he returns to the form he was when he lead the NFL in receiving, then a lot of posters that have buried Josh will be back on his bandwagon and hiding the posts about his demise ... JMHO

This in a nutshell. And unlike previous Browns organizations, it wouldn't be a distraction if he falls flat on his face like he did last year.

look I am a Browns fan have been since 1965, I love this team and don't hate anybody, if I have hurt anyone I apologize, all I am doing is giving my opinion on the team I love, I don't know everything, If I did I would be working in an NFL front office, so please forgive me if I have said anything to offend anyone, we are all hoping this team gets better and we won't always agree on how they should ... Seriously? No, he was making a statement regarding those that "have buried Josh". There is a difference; subtle perhaps, but a difference nonetheless. Hell, I doubt Josh - but I have hope for him and see the value in continuing to keep him around. It's all up to him; he just needs to realize that and take it to heart.
