Yup, I'm a turd bucket.

There is a small part of me that wants to say what I do......and yet, there's a huge part of me that doesn't care what people on a message board think of me.

Easy to to say. I know. No way to prove anything, I know.

And that's fine. I don't do things for accolades.

Thanks. Means a lot. I think you're selling yourself short on your intelligence. You make a lot of good posts. I think I'm going to change a bit in my posting habits. I don't think that DT is a real place for change, but I do think the negative vibe of this forum is slowly scaring away some of the better members. They probably all just know that exchanging insults is a waste of time. I think that post in fan feedback was pretty eye opening as well as your posts.

Have a good night, Vers.

Thanks CHS. I wasn't saying I was dumb.........LOL... I just have always recognized your intelligence.

Nice! We have some very intelligent posters on this board. It's way above other boards I have read. I can't even post on those boards. Too ignorant.

Imagine if instead of insulting one another all the time, we try things like:

--trying to understand the opposing point of view
--analyzing why these problems/differences exist

--offering solutions instead of issuing blame

--suggesting ways to overcome our differences

I am not saying we should never insult one another. I get that is part of a message board. It's actually fun at times...LOL. But, to me................EE is real. I stayed off of this forum for years because I would read the constant insults against Obama and how he was to blame for everything that was wrong w/the world. I would get so disgusted that I would just ignore the entire forum.

CHS, I don't like absolutes. No man, race, gender, religious affiliation, political alliance, etc is good or bad. It's about the individual. I believe in tolerance. I might not agree w/another's beliefs and/or ideology, but I think they have the right to have both. And just because we disagree on certain ideologies, doesn't make us wrong.

If we can try to understand our differences and accept one another for our unique perspectives, we are much further ahead as a society.

Here's a headline for Trump SUpporters!

Infowars' Alex Jones apologizes for pushing 'Pizzagate' conspiracy theory

BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE - 03/25/17 10:17 AM EDT

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Friday apologized to the owner of a Washington pizzeria that became the subject of a conspiracy theory about human trafficking last year.

Pizza shop Comet Ping Pong was thrust into the spotlight last year after a gunman allegedly fired a shot inside the restaurant. The suspect said he was investigating the unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton and her campaign chairman, John Podesta, were operating a child sex trafficking ring out of the restaurant.

The theory, which became known as Pizzagate, had circulated among far-right conspiracy theory websites and social media accounts.

“In our commentary about what had become known as Pizzagate, I made comments about Mr. Alefantis that in hindsight I regret, and for which I apologize to him,” Jones, who runs Infowars, said in a video. James Alefantis is the owner of Comet Ping Pong.
Jones said his website relied on reporters who are no longer employed by Infowars and that video reports about Pizzagate were removed from the website. He also invited Alefantis onto the show to discuss the incident.

“To my knowledge today, neither Mr. Alefantis, nor his restaurant Comet Ping Pong, were involved in any human trafficking as was part of the theories about Pizzagate that were being written about in many media outlets and which we commented upon,” Jones said.

Jones is known to engage in conspiracy theories. The radio host in his broadcasts has falsely claimed that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax and that the U.S. government was involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Last week, a plea deal was reached for the man accused of firing a weapon inside the shop.

So a fake news apology... They said this guy was part of a pedo ring that was human trafficking, but feel he has no legal claim against them. rolleyes

OMG. SMH.

one thing that i've having trouble wrapping my head around is Trump's refusal to take responsibility for anything.

Didn't take responsibility for lying about Obama ordering a wire tap on him, didn't take responsibility on that failed yemen raid, didn't take responsibility for a healthcare bill that he endorsed. instead he placed the blame on everyone around him.

Does the buck not stop with him?

Trump went golfing yet again this weekend.

how come conservatives are complaining about that, yet they wouldn't shut up about Obama?

12 times in his 9 week presidency so far.

I tried researching how much his vists cost taxpayers compared to Obama's "extravagant Hawaii vacations" on the taxpayers dime.

I've come up with nothing. Apparently they do get vacation days, but the number is fuzzy.

The beat goes on. Very productive.

This past summer when I was in Ohio prepping my home so I could sell it, my red-neck neighbor was bashing Obama because of all the fringe benefits he and his family were using. He totally disgusted me because they all do that type of thing. I had to shut him down.

Now, the arrogant left is making similar accusations against Trump.

I have to ask.................how is any of that productive? What possible good can come out of bashing the opposing side and being closed-minded?

He can do as he pleases.

I'd like to see transparencies by both sides. No R supporter questions Trump as they questioned Obama. I never questioned Obama with vists, nor did I do with W.

I'd like to see transparency, and see out of the last three who actually ranked up a bigger tax bill for Americans with vists at this point in their career. It would show factual data with expenditures due to trips. This could then actually get used as factual data to let everyone just chill out.

I haven't bashed any of them for such things.

And you didn't answer the biggest question............how does bashing either of those guys productive?

Where is the gain? How does it make things better?

I still contend if y'all would spend just 1/8 of the energy on positive things that you do on negative things.........amazing things would happen.

That's my point. Nothing, and truly nothing if no one wants to consider factual financial statements when claims of "taxpayer waste" get thrown around.

Those claims got labeled at Obama with trip to Hawaii, and the same to W when he went to Crawford.

Can I use the "wire tapping" defense in this post, too? smile

anybody catch the news?

So apparently Trump decided to tweet and tell everyone to tune into Fox at 8 or 9.

then that judge lady gets on, and demands a Ryan resignation. Now the trump team is claiming they didn't know anything about it.

i'm just wondering if it's a normal thing for a president to tell people to watch a specific news channel at a specific time.

if it's normal then it's whatever, if not, then that's a problem.

because that means that the Trump administration is using Fox news as a proxy in order to send direct attacks at what seems to be political opponents.

there's literally no other reason to tell his supporters to watch a specific channel at a specific time, unless they are either controlling the narrative on fox news, or knew ahead of time of what the judge would say, agreed and decided to let his supporters know.

either way, if this isn't normal for a president to do, then that's probably an ethics violation.

This just in............it's called "politics."

Did you ever watch the documentary on Obama trying to get his Health Care plan through Congress?

And I am not knocking Obama.

It's politics, bro.

is it politics?

you didn't answer the question. i'm asking is this normal for a president to tell his supporters to watch a specific channel at a specific time, which ends up being a demand for someone's resignation?

you're doing everything but answering the question.

I'm telling you that your question is lame. You are just looking for reasons to dis the guy you don't like.

obviously you do, ask you keep responding.

for all that "who gives a rat's butt" you sure did spend time whining about it.

but of course, you didn't answer the question. i'll take it as you really have no answer, and that's fine. al you had to say was "i don't know".

I don't think tweeting is covered in the constitution Swish... I mean the forefathers had tremendous insight but they weren't psychic.

Trump can tweet away as far as I'm concerned. His continued attacks, abnormal behavior and temper tantrums all seem to be limiting the harm he can do. I never thought I'd say this, but yeah for twitter!

I think it's an ethics violation. He's essentially endorsing a product as a government employee, and as far as I'm concerned, he's using it as a proxy to send verbal hit pieces at people he needs to blame.

Of course he won't get in trouble, but at some point he needs to stop. I'm still holding out hope that this guy acts some sort of presidential, because his behavior is simply an embarrassment to all of us, and to others around the world.

So you think propaganda and state controlled media is an ethics violation? I don't think Putin or Adolf ever had any legal issues doing it.

Sorry Vers, I couldn't help myself there.

Truth is, it's just another news cycle on the Trumpian acid trip we are all on. The brown (shirt) acid is bad, why did we all eat the brown (shirt) acid?

Seriously though Swish, it might be a violation but nobody will call him on it. So just add it to the list and move on man. Just another day on board the Crazy Train.

I think half of what he does is to distract from other stories. He always seems to be the nuttiest right after things go bad. So he distracts with more craziness. How much time has been spent talking about Obama wire tapping him? That sure took the focus off the Russian connections. Now he's being called a failure and he wants to change that narrative. SAD. But True.

yea i know he won't ever get in trouble for it, it just seemed odd.

makes you wonder about his feelings on Ryan, since he used the judge as a proxy

Here's the thing Vers.

If our president is under FBI investigation, many in his inner circle have ties to Russia, he lies about felonies by our former president on Twitter, and the list goes on and on.....

If people don't bring these things up and keep them in the spotlight, it will become normal. It will be accepted as the day to day new normal.

I don't believe we should ever let that happen.

it's the government, if they bought the karts they would end up paying 3 times more than they're worth.
