Don't even play Lebron the second half

Sit them all in the second half and send Lue to coaching school.

Perhaps this is prisoner of the moment type stuff, but I just don't know how the Cavs just flip a switch on what we are seeing.

This is starting to turn into legacy type stuff for LeBron too. If they fail to make the Finals with the best talent he's ever been surrounded with, that's going to impact his legacy. After last year, he's knocking on MJs door, but in sports things are quickly forgotten.

Probably the biggest disappointment of all is Lue. What has he really done this hear other than sit on a high chair on the sidelines.

I've said all year no one will convince me Lue is better than Blatt. It's showing this year. Lue has no idea to deal with the adversity he's had this year. He's literally OJT with a team with championship aspirations. I wouldn't be surprised if they get knocked out this year Lue gets replaced with a Lebron picked coach(mark Jackson ) Lue needs to figure it out fast

It's starting to have a cascading effect. You've got guys on the other team playing so loose and so not afraid to make mistakes that they will expand their game a little without fear it will cost them if they're not successful. Patty Mills pick and pop 3s? Repeatedly. Maybe he's added that to his game, but in all the times I've watched the Spurs, he's been more if a spot up guy. Catch and shoot. Now he's coming off screens like wth. If I miss no big deal. They can't stop us anyway.

Kinda late in the year to do that, also no way they come back without him.

Kyrie is spectacular and awful at the same time.

He's been maddening lately. Does he even know how to create for anyone else?

Why is Kyrie and Kevin not playing? They obviously need the work, Kevin needs to get his shot back and Kyrie needs to learn how to pass.

Good news is Lebron will be ready by Thursday. Glad whatever that was didn't do any real damage.

Why are you glad?

Apparently we'd be better if we didn't have guys like LeBron, Kyrie, and Love...

Well, say what you want guys, but looking this bad with only 9 or so games to go before the playoffs isn't good.

Due to injuries, we once again look like a team trying to learn how to play together. Kyrie is looking like pre-lebron mode, circus shots and refusal to pass the rock.

JR and Love look like they still need a lot of time to get their shots back.

And TT, more than anybody, just looks flat our tired.

Legit east teams like the Wizards and Celtics are smelling blood.

Well, at least we're in the conversation rather than looking through the cracks in the bottom of the barrel like we used to...

Random thought.

I hope Lonzo Ball gets drafted by Chicago.

if anyone isn't worried after watching the cavs this year then they don't have a clue...we give up almost 110 points a game, rank damn near deadlast in defensive efficiency, get zero production from key players, blew the 1st seed and actually might end up 3/4 seed, Still can't figure out how to get rotations down, lack of effort...I think Lebron needs to call the team out again, particularly Kyrie, he is unacceptable..dwill has his issues but when hes on the floor at least the ball moves...when kyrie has it, everyone is just standing around because they know the ball aint coming. If Sanders isn't ready, why not bring moreland up this last couple weeks? TT is a meh player most of the time, he gets destroyed by true bigs, but he usually is one that will hustle 100% of the time and that usually is infectious, but the last couple months he's been bad, just worn out..like everyone.. That's the biggest thing i see with this team, Lue ran them into the dirt trying to keep that one seed. I'm just afraid it might be too late now

So if we're a lower seed how does that affect us? Does that mean we have to play tougher teams to advance?

the biggest detriment is we won't have home court

He's been predicting them to lose every playoff series since Lebron came back. He was right once so far, lol.

I just watched Love shoot a wide open shot, miss it, then jog down the court and eventually failing to block out his man and it reminds me of the last post I made on the locked thread.

I think this is important:

Quote:

I think it comes down to one thing. Will the Cavs significantly improve their defense during the playoffs?

Right now, they aren't playing any defense. The perimeter players [especially the guards] are not stopping the ball and the bigs aren't being physical w/the guys who are going to the basket. Way too many easy lay-ups/dunks.

The Cavs will have no chance in the playoffs if they continue to play that type of defense. I am hoping that they will dramatically improve their D, just as they did in last year's playoffs.

I really wish Bogut wouldn't have gotten hurt. He could have been an asset w/his physicality and rim protection.

how bad is your defense when you have this many guys with fouls...and Love is fouled out
