Hey I was wondering if there would be enough interest to have a board wide mock draft. Where each user gets to be the GM of a team. If we have enough interest, we can start getting some of the specifics down. Here's a list of all the teams though. Maybe we can fill it out? Just copy, paste and put your name on the team you take. Probably the easiest way to do this.

If we do have enough people, then we need to start planning rules on trades and the time table for each round and things like that. So anyone else game?

I was going to post the same thing, thanks. For Cleveland, I think we should do a board poll, or vote of the "GM's" participating.

I have a question. When you refer to "board poll" for the Brown's choice, are you saying that the player who gets the most votes will be our selection or are you saying that the board votes on picking one poster to represent the Browns?

My idea is to have the Browns pick be either a full day or 2 days. One half of that time period will be used to nominate players for a poll. Only a player seconded can get into the poll. You can make your arguments there. The next half of whatever time period we choose, will be a poll. I guess you can make arguments in there too. I'm not going to police you. I'm not a Ref.

That's just my idea though. I'm completely open to suggestions.

I don't think I will participate if it is a board poll. Too many people will overvalue the qbs and mess things up [in my opinion.]

I'd rather we elect a person who has a feel for evaluating talent to represent the Browns. And yes, I would be interested in being that person. LOL.......I know....arrogant as hell. But, I would welcome voting for someone else if you can't vote for yourself. LOL

Are we doing 7 rounds? I got to be honest I'm good if we stop after the Browns 3rd rounder. After that its just kind of crazy. In that case the rams and vikes would only pick once in the 2nd and the pats not at all. We could just do community pick for the rams and vikes I think.

I don't think we ever came close to 7 rounds. Timing wise, unless we all dedicated a 4 hour or more window and did it live, we won't likely be able to. We need to give everyone 4-6 or more hours to pick due to work, life, time zones, etc... and more over night. I think if we got 3 rounds in, we'd be lucky.

IF we are using the actual draft as an end date then the amount of time allotted per selection and the number of rounds should be decided pretty soon here.

I'd love to join in but am in the UK so is the time difference an issue?

What we do if people anticipate not being online for the window of their pick is to send a mini board to someone whose selections will not be affected or an observer who is not participating to post your top remaining player when your pick comes up.
