Pick is in...

Jon Allen, DL, Alabama for the bungles. Was not expecting him to be there.

GC. Where is the Nomination/=1. and seconds/=4. for suggestions to the poll to who the Browns should target at #12.

Late last night PastorMarc had nominated Trubisky, I had nominated O.J Howard.
If I recall correctly.

It's only 3 picks out. ??? thumbsup

It was in the K9 consensus poll forum, under the thread marked as the "browns #1 pick" title, about 1 am eastern last night.

Along with the rules, that you could only nominate 1 new name, and could 2nd up to 4 of the already named, and that a name would have to be named twice to get included.

Just looking for where the discussion moved to if it went somewhere, as I couldn't find it.

So, it looks like we have the following nominated and seconded thus far:

Michell Trubisky, QB
OJ Howard, TE

I'm going to add a player a haven't talked about much, Haason Reddick. I see him as a middle linebacker or outside linebacker, depending on our defensive formation. The more I read/watch, the more I like.

I really like Reddick but I think he's a luxury pick at 12. Howard is fine with me at 12. I'd have lobbied for Sidney Jones before his unfortunate injury.

I'm going to count nominations and seconds in either this thread or the one in the poll forum, just in case no one saw the posts about it. It's also not that big of a deal yet, as we've been slow with discussions.

Alright, the Browns are now on the clock. I'm going to post the poll at 6 PM, just because we don't have many nominations yet.

These are the remaining top 25 prospects left in CBS's draftboard. In order, but not numbered.

*Derek Barnett
*Dalvin Cook
*Mitch Trubisky
Haason Reddick
*Jabrill Peppers
Corey Davis
*Deshaun Watson
*Ryan Ramczyk
*Marlon Humphrey
*Malik McDowell
*Mike Williams
Taco Charlton
*David Njoku
*Zach Cunningham

With the Browns on the clock and, and O.J. Howard having been selected.

In the interest of not having Mitch Trubisky's name just railroaded through without a 2nd for the poll, I want to suggest Ryan Ramczyk, OT. Wisconsin.

and decide how much time to continue, because once Cleveland selects, I'll be up for the Cardinals pick, .

Not on the list, but I nominate Kevin King, CB Washington

Ryan Ramczyk
Kevin King
Haason Reddick
Corey Davis

Have all been nominated once.

Trubisky has had a second and is eligible for the poll.

You can nominate and still second another person's selection. It's not an either or.

I'm nominating Marlon Humphrey.

I'm seconding Corey Davis and Ryan Ramcyzk.

So now Corey Davis, Ryan Ramcyzk and Mitchell Trubisky are eligible for the poll.

Kevin King, Haason Reddick, and Marlon Humphrey now need a second to be eligible for the poll.

I second King and Humphrey.

I nominate anyone that isn't a QB.

Haason Reddick, and Mike Williams now need a second to be eligible for the poll.

Everyone else who entered, besides "Anyone that isn't a QB" is eligible for the poll, which opens in 30 minutes.

Yes, but the GM would have to offer the Browns the pick. The Browns right now can't try to find a pick. It'd just be hard to do logistically.

yes, I was hoping to get some picks in today, and late night, eastern time we sometimes make a lot of progress, 5-6 pics in a row, in years past.

I think I can pm a 2 man list for the Cards, and a 13 man list for the Giants, ... because, it is what it is but when it comes down to being tethered to dawgtalkers 18 hours a day, waiting for the ketchup to come out of the bottle, then I only care so much.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Lions are offering #21 (1st), #53 (2nd) & #165 (5th) for #12

Value Estimation
#12 = 1200
vs.
#21 (800) + #53 (370) + #165 (25) = 1195

i'd take that deal with detroit. Unless we'd be sold on Trubisky

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
