I have no idea, but a hot dog sounds good right about now. When the hell is it time to eat!

I think this is finally the year we see the belt return to the good ole U S of A! How fitting that it will be on the 4th too!

Go Chestnutt!! Can you believe there actually broadcasting this contest on ESPN? I don't see where eating hot dogs goes into the "Sports" category..

Does the Rock Paper Scissors Championship deserve a spot?
It begins! Go Chestnut... Look how sick that girl looks behind him! HAHA!

Joey just topped 50 with 4 minutes left to go. Go Joey!
And Chestnut just broke the record... 54 hotdogs. Tight race!

I lol'd at that too... The contest is pretty entertaining, and it's definently great that the belt could be on it's way back to America. But honestly, "the greatest moment in American sports history"?
Joey finished with 63... Let's see the judges verdict. Joey Chestnut with 66 hotdogs!!
JOEY! JOEY! JOEY!!!!!!

It's always great to see America on top, but that was one of the most ridiculously funny comments I've heard. Joey's win probably just edged out the U.S. Olympic Hockey team beating the Russian's in '80 as the greatest moment in American sports history. I don't know how this is going to be topped. I think the announcer got a little carried away

I can't find any hotdogs around the house, and I have a mad desire for them... I wonder why. Guess I'm on the way to the store. I'd say this may just sneak past the 1980 U.S. National Hockey Team as the best moment in American sports. I don't know about you all... I still can't believe he said that.

Gotta love the hyperbole that these announcers spit out!! We all laughed here at the bar, too! Good race though. Can't believe Kobayashi almost pulled it out... Last year we had a bratwurst eating competition at the bar and I downed 13 of them in ten minutes. That was so excrutiating that I couldn't eat brats for months. I have no idea how they smash through that much food in those events...

If I recall correctly, a dog and bun runs about 300 calories - so the dude ate about 20,000 calories. I can't even imagine the grams of fat and cholesterol...
