Report: Trump reelection effort raised $13.2 million so far in 2017

President Trump’s reelection campaign has already raised $13.2 million this year, according to federal records filed Friday night and obtained by Politico.

The amount was collected by three committees -- Donald J. Trump for President, Trump Victory and Trump Make America Great Again Committee. And roughly 80 percent of the money was raised through small, online donations.

The Republican National Committee confirmed earlier this month that it had raised $41.3 million over the same period. But as of early Saturday, the group had yet to file a report with the Federal Elections Committee.

The group also says much of the money came from the same small-amount, online donors who helped Trump become president and that the effort brought in tens of thousands of new donors.

According to Politico, the FEC report for the three Trump committees suggested much of the money came from merchandise sold during Trump’s inauguration and early presidency, considering they spent roughly $4.7 million on hats, T-shirts, mugs and stickers.

The committees collectively spent at least $2.7 million on fundraising and other activities including $1.6 million to the web design and digital media company run by Trump campaign digital director Brad Parscale.

The committees reported roughly $16 million in the bank at the end of March.

If by "Rolls On..." you mean he's a colossal D-Bag, then yes, he's rolling on with the best of them.

Here he is comparing his ratings to 9/11. Also, it would be great if this man could learn to speak in complete sentences. In fact, it would be tremendous.
-------------------------------------------------

As 100 Days approaches, Donald Trump focuses on the important things.

One of my favorite things in politics has always been when the president sits down for a long-form interview. So often we got to hear what President Obama or Bush or Clinton thought through layers and layers of advisers and spokespeople. These occasions when a reporter got time to have an in-depth discussion with those men were all the more illuminating for it. I loved it. I do not love it anymore.

TV-addicted septuagenarian Donald Trump sat down for an interview with the Associated Press, and to say that it was bats*** crazy does a disservice to the excrement of bats. First, there were so many times when Trump basically got the Arrested Development narrator treatment, where his diplomatic claims are so far out and sound so impossible that it's hard to take anything he says at face value.

TRUMP: I've developed great relationships with all of these leaders. Nobody's written that. In fact, they said, "Oh, well, he's not treating them nicely," because on NATO, I want them to pay up. But I still get along with them great, and they will pay up. In fact, with the Italian prime minister yesterday, you saw, we were joking, "Come on, you have to pay up, you have to pay up." He'll pay.
AP: Did he say that? In your meeting? Your private meeting?
TRUMP: He's going to end up paying. But you know, nobody ever asked the question. Nobody asked. Nobody ever asked him to pay up. So it's a different kind of a presidency.

Trump then complained about the media's obsession with the first hundred days, because he's, y'know, been garbage through them and knows people will say so. It's like a kid trying to claim that midterms don't matter because your final grade takes into account other things. Sure, that's technically true, but your grade also includes the midterm. A bad first hundred days is still...well...bad. But Trump tried his best to spin out of that. There was only one problem...

TRUMP: The hundred days is just an artificial barrier. The press keeps talking about the hundred days. But we've done a lot. You have a list of things. I don't have to read it.
AP: You did put out though, as a candidate, you put out a 100-day plan. Do you feel like you should be held accountable to that plan?
TRUMP: Somebody, yeah, somebody put out the concept of a hundred-day plan. But yeah. Well, I'm mostly there on most items. Go over the items, and I'll talk to you ...

Yep! He himself, not "somebody," had talked about and released plans for his first hundred days. Plans that have mostly gone nowhere. But the truly maddening part of the interview, the pièce de crapsistance if you will, was when Trump bragged about his ratings by making a pretty insane comparison.

TRUMP: No I have, it's interesting, I have, seem to get very high ratings. I definitely. You know Chris Wallace had 9.2 million people, it's the highest in the history of the show. I have all the ratings for all those morning shows. When I go, they go double, triple. Chris Wallace, look back during the Army-Navy football game, I did his show that morning.
AP: I remember, right.
TRUMP: It had 9.2 million people. It's the highest they've ever had. On any, on air, (CBS "Face the Nation" host John) Dickerson had 5.2 million people. It's the highest for "Face the Nation" or as I call it, "Deface the Nation." It's the highest for "Deface the Nation" since the World Trade Center. Since the World Trade Center came down. It's a tremendous advantage.

Yeah. That's the president of the United States bragging that he had the highest ratings since September 11, and you know what's nuts? He probably thinks that's honoring September 11. After all, ratings are what Donald Trump loves and respects more than anything, so he probably thinks 9/11's high ratings are a big part of what makes it a nationally remembered day. While we all remember the terrible loss of life and fear that came from that day, it seems as if Trump remembers one of the greatest Nielsen days in history.

100 days, 39 rounds of golf... I must say that is more than a little disappointing. Other than golf pros and retired folks, I don't know anybody that has time to play 39 rounds of golf in 100 days.. especially the first 100 days of a new job, when that job is arguably the hardest job on the planet.

So if you are a republican or a Trump supporter (or both) and you EVER whined and complained about the time and money Obama spent on vacation or playing golf, you should just come clean right now and apologize...

When you take into consideration that most of the work Trump has had to do involves fixing and undoing what Obama screwed up, we would have been better off if Obama golfed more.

No, I think the difference is that Trump has issued a ton of executive orders on the fly, has spent zero time trying to build any coalitions or consensus to get anything major through, and thinks that just because he's "the boss" that will be good enough in the long run... which it won't.

I won't apologize and here's why:

Within Trump's first 100 days, virtually everything about him has been blown out of proportion... from the criticism to the self promoting hype.

"Trump is in bed with Putin!"... eh, his people talked to people that self-identify as Russian...

"Obama wire tapped me!"... eh, not directly, but Obama officials did parse out the names and info of Trump associates who were scooped up in wide surveillance.

"There were 2 to 3 million illegal votes cast"... well, no, not that many, but there are several stories since emerged about dubious election practices...

My point? Well, given how Trump has been portrayed both positively and negatively, I think "39 rounds of golf" isn't actually 39 rounds of golf. I don't think he's playing the front AND back 9 each time... in fact, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he's played 39 rounds of miniature golf.

But if I had to put money on it, given POTUS's propensity to Tweet while on the dumper, I think 39 rounds of golf is in reality 39 Holes in One on one of those little tiny putting greens you put in your bathroom.

Yea, devil. Two people fired over the Russian ties is somehow blown out of proportion.

You was one of those posters running your mouth about obama's golf trips. Now trump has eclipsed that, as well as on pace to BREAK, not match, BREAK the spending it cost to protect the president on vacations and such and you....defend it?

You can believe whatever you want. But the fact is that that makes you a straight up hypocrite.

Your savior has not only repeatedly lied to the public, he accused the president of something that even other republicans who hate obama had to go "whoa, hold up, that's false". Got his ego busted and had to lie about something stupid like crowd sizes, and even lied about where a freaking carrier group is.

So if you are gonna have double standards and not apologize for it, fine. But that doesn't make you a man of character, that makes you fake, especially since you slammed the previous president for the same nonsense.

You and other whined and whined about obama and his executive orders, even though history says he isn't even close to having the most. Called him acting like a king and a dictator.

Yet your savior is on pace to BREAK the number of executive orders.....and not a word from you or the rest of the peanut gallery.

I remember the sad ass excuse when your peeps got called out on the executive order lies.

"Uhhh...well....it's not the numbers, but the KIND of executive orders!!! Yea yea, that's it!!!!"

And now look at you, it's the KIND of golf trump is playing now? Lmfao, man...what?

Come on guys, 39 rounds of golf really isn't that much, am I right? Right guys? Right? You feel me?

Lmao man get out of here with that nonsense.

Trump has the lowest approval rating of any president the first 100 days.

And it only looks like it's gonna get lower:

Trump backs away from demand for border wall money

https://www.yahoo.com/news/border-wall-h...--politics.html

Lol, y'all got the house, senate, WH and Supreme Court, and still wet the bed.

No border Wall funding, huh?

You tired of winning, yet? Lmfao

The thing about calling out others as hipocrites is that it is a rare occurrence when the person leveling the accusation hasn't shown themselves to be one of at least the same order.

You guys still don't get it do you? The way Trump supporters are behaving in regards to him, is nearly exactly the way Obama supporters behaved in regards to him.

Is it really necessary to list out all the blatant cases where you guys have given Obama a pass on so many things, things much worse than Trumps 39 rounds of golf?

Call me a hipocrite... I could care less. It just goes in one ear and out the other. You guys have very little political credibility left. Obama got elected twice.. so what? YOUR savior managed to leave the Dem party in shambles as you guys lost literally thousands of legislative seats during his time in office. And when (notice I didn't say if)... one of these accusations against Trump come true, you still aren't going to find an ally. It's not that someone like me is giving him a pass, it's because you guys on the left have acted in such an obnoxious, abhorrent manner and treated otherwise decent people like crap, that most people would rather be dead than be associated with your side.

You guys can't be trusted. You guys have no decency. You have no honor. And you guys fear actual debate and free exchange of ideas. Continue to lash out like a child. Maybe one day your side will see that you guys may actually have some allies across the spectrum if you only conduct yourselves like decent human beings.

**And by you, it's not necessarily specifically you, but a broader brush reference**

Well we know the leaflets oBUMa dropped warning and letting everyone know when and where the bombs were coming was extremely extremely affective ....

Thank god he got that right ....

Good thing Trump didn't follow his lead ... he couldn't even hit the airbase in 59 tries ... so what are the odds of him dropping the warning leaflets in the right place .. that would have been really really embarrassing ...

I think having dropped 57 missiles would have been more symbolic...

This post is beyond weak.

Trump supporters are of a different breed. This isn't bush or mitt Romney, where the majority of conservatives supported him and even liberals understood where those candidates came from.

Same with obama.

We've never had a president under investigation for selling out the country to our enemy. We've never had a president blatantly lie about other presidents requesting wire taps on their predecessors.

This isn't ANYTHIN like obama, or bush, or Clinton, or the other bush, or Reagan, or any other president's supporters.

But you know what the older generations say about you trump supporters? You remind them of Nixon supporters. Head completely in the sand, crying about the media all the time, and in massive denial about how crap the guy you voted for is.

For the record, I really hope trump doesn't turn into Nixon, but boy.....the parallels are certainly there. And history has an odd way of repeating itself. I guess the law of averages is a thing.

I'm glad you could care less about me calling you a hypocrite. That's cool. Still doesn't change that fact that you are one right now.

Cried about obama golfing, now it's not a problem with trump.

Cried about the money it cost for obama on vacations, yet say nothing about the spending it cost for his stupid ass mar-a-lago trips combined with having to secure trump tower because his wife and kids can't move to DC like EVERY OTHER FAMILY HAS.

Cried about obama adding to the deficit( which most of us liberals on this board were also concerned about), yet say nothing to this guys plan who is gonna add another 10 trillion to the deficit? I thought you cared about the deficit? What happened? You don't have to answer that, we already know.

Cried about obama being a weak leader. Yet trump has managed to tick off England, Australia, Germany, Israel, Canada, South Korea, did I miss some countries? Also calling NATO obsolete, and walked back his comments like the dumbass uninformed loser that he is. But to you? Eh, it's all good, right? Smh, sad. Very sad.

We can't be trusted? Says the guy who voted for a businessman with multiple bankruptcies, creepy conversations about his daughter, sued for not renting to blacks, can't speak in complete sentences, already can't get any policies through, oh and yea, currently being investigated for colluding with the Russians during the election, where we've already seen two people get the axe, and an AG and senator having to recuse themselves over the issues.

But only a trump supporter would go "eh, nothing there".

Notice how I make sure to specify trump supporter, and not conservative.

Cause you guys are a completely different breed.

Lol, can't be trusted. Your president that you voted for has given white supremacist new life. They are marching more and more. Just read an article about them finally getting organized and they are growing.

But remember what you said, bro. Who cares about racism as long as the job is done, right?

When you voted for trump, you certified that you were perfectly fine with racism. All these white supremacist and nationalist all over America rallying, and hell now one is in the administration: Bannon.

And you're gonna tell me we can't be trusted. No, YOU can't be trusted. Not you, your profession, or your extreme right wing ideology, because that's exactly where you trump supporters fall in line with. Right in with those klan members marching in the streets.

And you're fine with it, cause you voted for him anyway even though he empowers those people.

No, you're the one with no honor.

And by you, I mean specifically you, as well as the rest of the trump supporters. No broad brush needed. Have a great day.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
