Yeah I don't trust love at all anymore, the more the game goes along the less visible he is

I don't think this is a fair take. Just 5 or 6 games ago Love was owning the fourth quarter and OT for like 2 straight games. He's not a natural shooter like Korver. He's a streak shooter. He's going to miss some, even wide open ones.

Love is the least of the Cavs worries, by far.

those were the exception, not the rule...Love historically has disappeared late in games, but i agree he's the least of our worries. It was just an observation, plus with lebron and kyrie we have the 4th pretty much covered, i just wished we'd post him more. Not only for offense but he's our best rebounder by a ginormous margin

It's still the two things that have plagued us all season, poor FT's and poor defense..may work against indiana as we just have too much talent, but at some point teague and miles will have decent games and PG13 always does against lebron, and we're going to be in a tough spot, but beyond the Indiana series that defense has got to improve, giving up 108 points in a first round matchup against a bad team like indiana doesn't bode well..Last year we were keeping teams in the 80's and at most 90's . We need to get back to that. Someone needs to go find a new switch, the one from last year broke. But playoffs are playoffs and much more fun now that every possession counts. Alot of back and forth last night. I wish Lue would go deeper in the bench, Shump could have helped on defense. Wouldn't have minded seeing Edy a few minutes in a first round game to see if we can use later..maybe he would have stopped or atleast slowed the layup line

Love closing isn't really his role on this team. As you mentioned, that's what LeBron and Kyrie are for.

I think the biggest problem with this team is the absolute moments of pure stupidity from Kyrie. He must be a coaching nightmare. His talent is uncanny, but getting him to function in an organized fashion looks to be a struggle.

The really odd thing is he only has 2 to 3 really dumb moments a game but they seem to be complete momentum shifters for some reason.

And it concerns me that I don't see him being taken to task for this stuff by Lue or LeBron. I'm hoping it's happening behind the scenes, but I don't know.

So, I know that PG13 should of taken the last shot.

Everyone knows that PG13 should of taken the last shot.

I have no problem with him telling his team, "I'm taking the last shot"

What I didn't like, was him admitting in a press conference, that he told CJ after the game that he needs to take the last shot..

I dunno, just rubbed me the wrong way.

Yeah, i agree. say it as a team during film/meetings ... don't say it to the media

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

yeah i agree with that, he's a momentum killer and he hasn't proven he can carry the team without lebron, because when lebron gets off the floor he gets free reign to go into hero ball and it kills everything lebron established in the first quarter..and his lack of effort on defense is maddening, and hes proved that when he wants he can play defense.. you swap him out for CP3 and this team would be a few notches above where it is now, just because of being a team player. What sucks is Kyrie is a generational offensive player, and I think he could be a generational all around player if he actually wanted to. He's young yet, hopefully he realizes how much better he can make this team by sacrificing personal accolades sometimes. Lebron for all his faults has been the epitome of a team guy and putting other teammates ahead of his own stats, and it actually made his game better as he's gotten older, i mean his 14th year and he just set personal season highs in assists and rebounds and still scored 25 points a game...kyrie on this team should be averaging 9-10 assists a game easy. Theres been too many 1, 2 and 3 assist games from him while getting 25+ points and 30+shots, thats not what i expect out of the PG on this team. Last year he kind of got better as the playoffs went along and figured out what he needed to do to fit with the teams needs...I'm hoping this year will be no different

I will never believed he is more than a "good player" that happens to be on a great team.

Beyond a few other teams. If he's anywhere else. He's Bismack Biyombo.

Also, he acts like a douche.

He was literally the best defensive player in the league this year, but ok. Personally, he's the only one on gsw with anything resembling cojones.

The Warriors team slogan used to be "Strength in numbers"

But then they dumped half their team so they could sign KD, so they came up with a brand new slogan for this years playoffs..

Not a fan of Green, but he's the only Warrior that showed a hint of class in game 7 last year.

No, you are not allowed to analyze anything. These threads should be 4 posts long. One person posting "We won" and 3 people posting "YEA!!!!"

The fact that we keep collapsing in the 4th quarter should be of no concern to anybody because we beat Indiana in one game where they missed a 16 footer to win at the buzzer. Its not like the teams we play are going to get progressively better or anything.

Delly, for sure.

I like that Shump has a bit of junkyard dog in him. He's not going to hang his head after he misses shot after shot. He's not going to back down from guys. He'll hit a big shot when you least expect it. But man, I've never seen a professional NBA player miss so many wide open shots. It's like he never works on his game.

I think Delly is the better player and I thought he was subpar in general.

Curry was classy after the last game as well.

The one that caught me off guard was Thompson. He is a product of the spoiled AAU generation. I like his game, but not congratulating the Cavs really soured me on the guy.

The group to start the third I think is our most effective. Lots of space to operate and plenty of size. Forcing Indiana to make adjustments

PG13 runs into James. No whistle.

Takes a few more steps and jacks up an ugly shot. Whistle.

Ok.

Today is "Kevin Love isn't allowed to take a charge day" at the Q.

All bobble heads will be of him laying on his back with his arms raised in question.

Shump has come in and shut pg13 down. Just stay with him for his defense, not like his offense could be any worse than JR. man what a bad contract that ended up being

We can never play a full, solid game. Always find a lead to blow or some way to give up a ton of points while not putting up any points. Another nail biter when just a bit ago, we were in charge.

Cavs for you.
