It never ceases to amaze me how easy these lunatics get their hands on guns and nobody ever seams to throw up a red flag until they hurt or kill someone. What a waste.

reports are cops found him in Erie, PA. They chased him, and then he killed himself.

Glad he's not putting the families and the rest of us through the media circus of a trial. Dude is some kind of messed up in the head.

Cleveland Chief of Police Calvin Williams came across very well during this. A comforting presence.

Whats scary about this, a little bit anyways .
Is this guy had no criminal background, I assume college educated, apparently a good job, owned his gun legally, was trained how to use it responsibly, and had a CCW.and he just snapped.
I am not upset he is dead. Almost wish he had been killed by another citizen or by the police though. But also kind of wish he was alive to answer questions why.
I have a lot of friends in the area that the original shooting happened and there were a lot of very terrified people.

I'm really glad the whole thing was over. I grew up in that neighborhood...
Apparently he lived in Euclid. I still have family and a ton of friends there. It was a tough few days just wondering if this guy would show back up.
I followed this thing via a scanner app. I'm just glad it's over.
This guy seemed like a really good man. Well loved. Tons of grandkids, great grandkids. A loving family. It's really really hard to hear them talk. I just can't imagine.
I warn anyone who is just reading into this NOT to watch the video. Don't watch, don't share. It's awful and doesn't need to be spread around any more than it already has.

youre from The Glenville neighborhood? Or youre from Euclid ? I grew up in Collinwood which is a few miles away. Moved to Euclid when I was 14. Parents still live there.

lol, I don't get back there very often.
I drove my girlfriend (who would eventually become my wife) around there some years ago, just showing her all my old spots. It's just kinda sad because there are some really cool buildings with old architecture that you just don't see anymore.
Seems like they are trying though. The Waterloo area with the Beachland seems like it's trying to become a hot spot for young people.

I graduated HS in 92, and 92 was probably the last time I was over there when we played at Collinwood(I played at Lincoln West) . The demographics have definitely changed a lot as more and more of the manufacturing left. I think the Collinwood rail yards are just about dead

I have some family in law enforcement up Erie way, when I first heard he was dead I thought they may have been involved.
So at some point they got a quick ping on his phone in the Erie, PA area, more specifically a part of town called Lawrence Park. I used to hang out there a bit as a teenager. It's a pretty odd place for an out of towner to end up. It's not exactly off of the main highway or anything. But last I knew there was a State Police barracks there so maybe he was contemplating a confrontation with police?
Shout out to McD's though.. the employees recognized him when he came through the drive thru and ordered his chicken nuggets and fries. They tried to stall him by telling him his fries weren't ready. Apparently he said "I gotta have my nuggets now!"... took them and left... just as he pulled out of the parking lot State Troopers were right behind him. I think they ended up doing a PIT maneuver on him and at some point between that and approaching the car he offed himself.
Good job by everyone involved.

Lawrence park is an area where you basically HAVE to know the area to end up (I hope that makes sense). It's like an odd part of Erie, kind of hidden away . Yes, the police barracks are there, which is odd as well.
IMO, he knew somebody in the area ... had to have known. He visited the casino quite a bit, but it still isn't THAT close to Lawrence Park

If I'm Mc'D's, I'm bonusing that drive through person quite a bit. Maybe even the whole restaurant. That took some stones right there.

I thought I read that the reward was not applicable in this case (can't remember the reason)

Committing crimes on FB Live is becoming a disturbing trend. Criminals using social media is nothing new though; Craigslist Murders, Child Predators, Hate Groups of all kinds...
Sad to see something good so misused.
This particular story was terrible from beginning to end. Sad for the victim and his family. The murderer took the coward's way out, but his crime had already proven him a coward. At least he didn't commit suicide by cop and hurt any officers.

If those kids don't get that money on a technicality, I hope someone steps up and takes care of them. What they did was heads up, smart, and also pretty brave. They could have possibly saved lives as well.

I will not post the article because it's revolting, but a Thai man hung his infant daughter, then hung himself while on FB, allegedly because he was having a fight with his wife...
