Can we start over? The Saints signed Adrian Peterson and it makes my Christian McCaffrey pick look really dumb now.

J/c Kyle Fuller lasted until 240? Really fallen down some draft boards. A lot of people think Baylor's scheme is too simple and it will hurt his growth.

they still could draft a RB/Wr type. Especially with their offense and playing on turf
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

The Chiefs picked up a sleeper at 216 with Chad Williams. To help strengthen the WR corps they have chosen Kendrick Bourne with their final pick in the 2017 draft. Bourne was overshadowed by his counterpart, Cooper Kupp, but he also posted impressive stats at EWU. A slower 40 time at the combine has dropped his stock and Bourne will need to work hard to make the final 53. However, with comparisons to Rashard Higgins this GM believes the kid is solid pick and will work his tail off. A coaches delight. The foundation is there...if needed, we will work with him on both Special Teams and the practice squad to help develop and refine his skills. On a side note, Bourne is a native of Portland, OR and this KC Chiefs GM is rooting for him to get his chance!

KC Chiefs have completed their 2017 Mock Draft. Here is a list of our players we acquired. I feel pretty good about this. I addressed a few areas of concern and vulnerability and added a bit of depth:

The Houston Texans 2017 Draft Haul
Cam Robinson, OT, Bama Tyus Bowser, LB, Houston Josh Dobbs, QB, Tennessee Brian Allen, CB, Utah DeAngelo Brown, NT, Louisville Montae Nicholson, S, Mich. St. Vince Biegel, LB, Wisconsin
They're also going hard after the following players as UDFAs: Andrey Avgi, TE, Western Oregon Jake Eldrenkamp, OG, Washington Marquel Lee, LB, Wake Forest Corey Clement, RB, Wisconsin
It turned out a little more D heavy than I anticipated, but they did draft a good bit of Offense last season who will be moving into year 2.
They did lose Wilfork, Bouye, and John Simon, and Johnathan Joseph is getting up there in age.
Brown looks like he should be able to be stout at NT which is paramount in the 3-4 and between he and Reader the Texans shouldn't miss Wilfork's on field "production" too much.
Replacing Bouye might be a little more difficult, but Allen is a height, weight, speed guy that has some ball skills after transitioning from WR. Joseph can be a good mentor for him. Joseph, Kareem Jackson, and Kevin Johnson should give him some time to develop. I was looking at Howard Wilson, but missed him by a few picks.
John Simon might not be the biggest name, but he played ~51.4% of the Texans' defensive snaps. Outside of Mercilus they only have Tony Washington and Brennan Scarlett listed at OLB. Tyus Bowser offers pass coverage ability with his athletic skill set that the team is lacking from its LBs and also has some passrushing traits that can be developed. He also has the ability to play inside and can be a versatile chess piece.
Vince Biegel might not have the flash of some other OLBs, but in the 7th round he has good enough physical traits and has great intangibles and should be a force on special teams.
I think Dobbs is a good fit in Houston and should be able to handle O'Brien's complex system, but there shouldn't be a rush to get him on the field and he'll have some time to develop.
No matter who is at QB, a strong running game will help them out. Robinson should help there, and he has the tools to be a long time stalwart.
The NFL is increasingly a passing league, and Montae Nicholson gets overlooked after the Spartans' poor season. He has great size and athleticism. Should be able to contribute on special teams while he develops his coverage skills.

If you go to the Google Doc, I created a new tab with the picks sorted by team. Some of the picks are out of order because trades were made and it messes up the alphabetical order.

Tennessee Titans Draft
1/5 Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State 1/29 Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt 2/61 JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Southern California 3/83 Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech 3/100 Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova 4/128 Jonnu Smith, TE, Florida International 6/214 Damien Mama, OG, Southern California 7/234 Jon Toth, C, Kentucky 7/236 Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
This is mostly a needs draft for Tennessee, at least through the first 4 rounds. Lattimore is the best CB in the draft, arguably. Ross, Williams, Davis, an Howard were all gone by 18, so I traded down and picked a versatile LB with speed and instincts. I think Schuster is the next Anquan Boldin, and Henderson has great potential in a Edelman type role, as well as returner. Tanoh Kpassagnon is a boom or bust type guy - he'll start out as a backup, but with good coaching, he could turn out to be a major steal. Jonnu Smith is a perfect fit for Tennessee, eventually replacing Delanie Walker with his clone... Mama and Toth will add depth to Tennessee's power based running attack. Walker could be a steal if his recently diagnosed depression is managed and he can stay away from concussions. I give myself a B grade on this, it has the potential to be an A, but also has the potential to be C or D...
Seattle Seahawks Draft
1/26 Jabrill Peppers, S/LB, Michigan 2/58 Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado 3/97 Nico Siragusa, OG, San Diego State 3/102 George Kittle, TE, Iowa 3/106 Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa 4/141 Chad Hansen, WR, Cal 7/226 Mack Hollins, WR, UNC
Peppers is a player that will be perfect for Seattle's Buffalo Nickle position. Seattle likes length at CB, and Witherspoon fits their CB needs well. The Seahawks are rumored to really like Siragusa, and he'd move directly into a starting role, with Ifedi moving outside to tackle. Kittle is a mid round insurance policy at TE. They're also looking for an interior pass rusher, and Johnsons fits the bill well. Regarding the WRs, these were mainly value picks, and gives Seattle two tall receivers to add to Doug Baldwin and Tyler Locket, and gives Kearse a wake up call. If I were Seattle, I'd be on the phone with Jerod Evans, Devonte Fields, Ben Gedeon, Brandon Wilson, and Jordan Sterns as UDFAs. I give this a B+, I love 5 of the picks, Kittle is a decent pick, and Hollins was too much of a value to not draft.

Agreed with Peppers to Seattle making sense. I can see that

I'd just like to give a special thank you to; cfrs, CleveSteve, Batdawg, and everyone else who helped keep this draft looking nice and running smoothly. Also to all the GM's who helped pick players. Glad we could finish this before the draft. I also have a special surprise for everyone. A special draft report from Tony Grossi and his hostage, Bill Barnwell. Editor’s note: We received this email from Tony Grossi with strict instructions to post his and Bill Barnwell’s joint Cleveland Browns draft grade or else Bill Barnwell would get harmed. We are working with ESPN’s security team to locate them both.
7:50 PM With the NFL draft’s conclusion it’s time for my annual draft grade for the Cleveland Browns. This year we have special guest Bill Barnwell with us. We will both be grading every Browns pick. Bill Barnwell has decided to stay with me this entire draft weekend, in an effort to prove he is not a consultant to the Browns. We will be bringing our authentic opinions as soon as the pick is made via 13 cassette tapes. I had to turn off our phones to my electromagnetic hypersensitivity and Barnwell is currently locked inside my faraday cage, understandably I have no other option. The draft is starting now.
Myles Garrett 8:05 PM Tony Grossi: I can’t believe it. The Browns did the right thing. I’m surprised they didn’t draft Dobbs here. They’re grossly incompetent. Football isn’t a game of numbers, it’s a game of inches.
Bill Barnwell: Yep. That was a lay up. So are you going to let me go once the Browns pick Trubsiky tonight? And I’ll just come over here tomorrow morning with some donuts or something?
21. Mitch Trubsiky
10:02 Tony Grossi: He’s my favorite QB prospect. I am surprised that they traded down from 12 and still got him. I guess that’s some analytics at work.... You didn’t have anything to do with this, Barnwell? Did you? You don’t know ESP or anything like that?
Barnwell: Wow. I really hope you’re joking.... It was the only guy that made sense, besides Marlon Humphrey. They did a good job with this pick when you consider the additional picks they get with the trade.
11:28 PM Tony Grossi: The draft has ended. Bill and I had a conversation and he understood that he had to stay here for awhile. It’s unfortunate really. But what must be done, must be done. We talked about the game of football. He taught me a few things. I’m growing a little fond of him. The Browns have the 33rd pick, Billy thinks they should take Adoree’ Jackson at 33. Personally, I think we should draft Marcus Williams. Let’s see who is right.
33. Tre’Davious White 7:05 PM Tony Grossi: Neither of us were right. This is still a good pick though. I had him going earlier in my mock drafts, but I guess he slipped right to us. A steal if you ask me.
Bill Barnwell: Tre’Davious White is a good player who can most likely start on day 1. He mirrors WR’s very well and stay with them stride for stride. He is on the lighter side though. No doubt he’ll be a great CB against the shifty WR’s in the AFC North who have plagued Joe Haden’s pro bowl career.
52. Obi Melifonwu 8:31 PM Tony Grossi: I love this pick. I did not expect him to slide this far down. I guess people don’t really care about that torq score after all. It’s all about what you can do on the field.
Bill Barnwell: Do you mean sparq? If so, it’s a great indicator to see where a prospect is coming as an athlete at that position. It helps highlight the fact that Obi has the size and speed to play multiple positions on the defensive front.
53. Zay Jones 8:32 Tony Grossi: Don’t get too carried away, Bill. This is my article after all. The next pick is in... we have Zay Jones a WR out of ECU. He’s a fast, shifty WR with good hands and size.
Bill Barnwell: Yes, he has also been able to get a lot of his production inside the hashmarks, going over the middle or quick slants. He could be a real weapon for them. Do you want more?
Tony Grossi: No, that’s enough.
65. Larry Ogunjobi 9:01 Tony Grossi: Wow. It’s been a flurry of activity for the Browns these past two hours, and two days. I haven’t covered the Browns this frequently since I had a source inside the building. A familiar tug of my heart, I think. Anyway, Braniac, do you have anything to add?
Bill Barnwell: What’s more for to say after that? Larry is one of the best run stuffing linemen in the draft. I’m not sure if he has the speed to play at the 3T. But he can still be a force. I’m surprised they didn’t take Ryan Glasgow or Montravious Adams here.
11:43 Tony Grossi: The 3rd round is over. The Browns will kick off the last rounds of the draft tomorrow at noon. Bill and I talked about football today. Mainly Sid Gillman. We also gossiped about Kyle Shanahan. It was nice, I haven’t had something like this in a long time. Bill thinks the Browns should take Damontae Kazee. I think they should take Rayshawn Jenkins. Bill has been tapping on the cage all day. He claims it helps him think, but it annoys me. He wasn’t doing it yesterday. I hear it when I close my eyes. *tap* *tap* *tap* *tap*, *tap* *tap* *tap*, *tap* *tap* *tap*, *tap* *tap* *tap* *tap*, *tap* *tap* *tap* *tap*, *tap* *tap* *tap*. Always the same way. Why does it haunt and mystify me so? The draft begins at noon tomorrow. I need to get some sleep.
108. Julién Davenport 12:03 PM Tony Grossi: I’m glad we finally heard his name correctly. I had no idea how to pronounce Julie’n Davenport. Glad to see that’s not really his name.
Bill Barnwell: This is a solid pick. If he can develop into the player he can become, the Browns could trade Joe Thomas in a year or two for a second round pick.
Tony Grossi: Bill, don’t talk that way.
145. Nate Gerry 1:45 PM Tony Grossi: This is a good pick. Gerry, like most people from Nebraska, is a hardworker. I’ve often seen him bailing hay after practice.
Bill Barnwell: This is another one of those picks who can add a lot of versatility to the Browns. Gerry has been one of the better cover safeties in college football, but his athleticism leaves questions on whether he can stay with WR’s and TE’s in the NFL.
175. Tedric Thompson 3:02 PM
Tony Grossi: Another safety. I see the Browns are trying to fix the safety position like they did the WR position last year. Someone should’ve told these Harvard Nerds, that didn’t work out too well either.
Bill Barnwell: Tedric after Gerry is an interesting choice. Tedric has all of the physical abilities to play the position, but does not have the IQ of Gerry. Could be a great pickup if the Browns’ analytics department created a gene splicer this year.
181. Chase Roullier 3:12 PM
Tony Grossi: Did I ever tell you the time I ran into Ray Farmer at Bounce? He told me he really liked this kid named Cam Erving. Told me he’d be the next best center in the NFL. Barnwell: I really like Roullier. I watched him quite a bit with Josh Allen, and he keeps his pads low and feet moving. I’m not sure this is a position of need, but Roullier was clearly BPA.
185. Isaiah Ford 3:30 PM Tony Grossi: Ford is a guy with quick feet and good hands. Not a polished route runner, but is able to show signs of good body control.
Bill Barnwell: I’m not too crazy about this pick with Zay Jones already being selected. I’m not sure Ford can play on the outside and the slot position might already be taken. 188. Michael Roberts 3:40 PM
Tony Grossi: This will hopefully be the final pick for the Browns. I really like Michael Roberts. I’ve went to Toledo a lot this year to watch football and take a few journalism classes as well. Michael Roberts is a football player. He won’t impress you with his sparq score, but he can block and catch.
Barnwell: Good pick. Whatever. Whatever. 8/10 draft. Can you give me my phone back now? I have a family.
4:23 PM
Tony Grossi: With the draft finished, I would say this Browns team is better than they were on Wednesday. I think we’re looking at a 2-14 team, if we’re lucky. I have turned on Bill Barnwell’s phone today and began looking through his text messages and calls. There are a lot of them, but none from Cleveland. The closest was a 513 number that called multiple times. When questioned about this, Barnwell said he was in a lot of debt with the mob. But I still don’t believe him. He’s told me he doesn’t know anything about the Browns, but the website dawgtalkers.com does. He says that’s where all the Brainpower is for Berea. I don’t believe him, but we will soon be making a visit to dawgtalkers, once I find how to program it into my garmin GPS. Please do not forget to send questions for Hey Tony, as it will resume on Monday. I hope you all enjoyed the draft as much as Barnwell and I did.

I'd just like to give a special thank you to... None needed, CHS. Rather it is all of us who had input into the mock who should be (and are) thanking you and Clevesteve for your energy, effort and time that you devoted to this mock. Many thanks...

Gotta hand it to everyone involved in this.
When it started I was certain there would be no way even round 2 would be finished.
I was wrong.
Kudos to all.

I also thought the Pats would target RB, but maybe not now since they re-signed White and got Gillislie
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Super fun and glad we completed it too.
Cheers to CHS and CleveSteve and everybody else who worked behind the scenes to make sure it kicked off and kept moving.

I believe Larry Ogunjobi was called exact.
