Hi. I am stunned by what happened to me on the official message board. I don't know if such things are commonplace, but I am quite frustrated.

I am a 30-year fan but a new forum user who posted an intelligent thread to the official board last night, and awoke today to discover that it had vanished completely. Apparently my post was deleted although it is utterly unclear as to why this occurred.

Here's what happened: I posted a thread discussing Anderson and how his strong performance caused me to realize that it is futile to discuss bringing in a veteran quarterback. It became clear to me that doing so would only highlight--rather than repair/reduce--the talent gap between the veteran QB and many of the Browns players. In my opinion, this happened last night. Even though DA isn't a vet (or even a starter) he played in such a way as to make this clear. After a season Frye simply didn't do this. And that shows me that this team's problem lies elsewhere.

Anyhow, this post was deleted without explaination. Then I posted a post about "where did my post go?" and it too was deleted. Then I posted basically this same post in the Ref's Corner forum, and received no replies. So then, in a final frustrated attempt, I posted in the main forum that my posts were being deleted and the mods refused to reply as to why this was occuring.

Then I was banned.

So in a nutshell, a new user seemingly cannot post an intellingent, non-redundant, non-abusive, non-vulgar post in the correct category without it being deleted without explaination. When questioned about this, the moderators ban you.

Quite sad that this is how they apparently treat new users. It certainly doesn't make me feel any better about this team.

that board is nuts and out of control

i dont know if you know about the old main board that board was the best and this board is modeled exactly like it a lot of the main posters cam over here to post and overall it is a WAY WAY WAY better place and getting bigger everyday
