Well we got the TE and we got a safety AND an elite pass rusher plus we got two firsts and three seconds NEXT year. I am not unhappy!

Browns give up 33 and 108 for #Packers No. 29, multiple reports say they've picked Miami TE David Njoku If so I can live with that. He was just a hair behind Howard... And only 20 years old. Not a great blocker but a monster receiver. Huge potential with very good production to back it up.

Well we got the TE and we got a safety AND an elite pass rusher plus we got two firsts and three seconds NEXT year. I am not unhappy! Good way to look at it since the shock of trading back with our 12th pick wore off. So so far? Pretty good! P.S. I'm getting sleepy.

With the 29th pick the Browns select David Njoku, Tight End, Miami.
I don't hate the pick, not a big splash,(which is good) maybe he'll play for Cleveland for 15 years.
I hope he does well. I hope he helps you beat Pittsburgh!

What is great about the Njoku pick is we have one of if not the best receivers coach in the league. Al Saunders is going to work that kid into a player!

I was hesitating to say , I thought Watt would have been better to get than Peppers.
and now, They get, the Steelers get TJ Watt.
Oh well, we got hosed on this deal, I think Watt's a better player, is all.
Browns had a need at safety, and now that they got Peppers, they probably STILL will.
Why can't we have a team that gets it!

Gonna go out on a limb.
If we pick 1st next year (not likely with that incredibly weak schedule), we can pick up our real franchise Quarterback, and a boatload of good players.
We need Darnold. Period.
For the first time since our team was stolen from us we will have a franchise that is real. A competitive, playoff caliber team.
A few months ago, I said that we needed to hit a homerun with this draft and get Darnold next year. If so, the curse could be broken.
Man this has been painful.
Say what you want about the front office, but for the first time in decades, things seem to make sense. OJ Howard would have been nice. Foster, Hooker would have been nice. But, but... I want to see the Browns next year. I want to see Garrett and Peppers in the Orange Helmet. I want to watch them play.
I did not want to spend the next 6-10 years watching Mitchell. I just could not see him leading us to a Super Bowl. Sorry, can t see it.

Maybe we go Webb tomorrow, or I would love Budda Baker to pair with Peppers...and Jourdan Lewis at round 3...in round 5 I hope Wayne Gallman at RB, an OT, and a QB if we select Baker.

Maybe we load up on good players, and high draft picks, and go try and sign guy like Garappolo, who probably won't be franchised, or Cousins, who can't be franchised again, and who might not be re-signed .... and sell them on the talent we have, and out ability to add even more?
