I am reluctant to add this...........and I am not trying to tell people what to think........but, it's kinda been bugging me.

There has almost been no talk of how well the Cavs are doing in the playoffs. A couple of honest posters like Milk says it's all about the Finals.

Yet, during the regular season, there were a ton of negative posts about the Cavs. Their D sucked [which was true...LOL], Lue was trash, the rotations sucked, they were old, blah, blah, blah.

Now, they are undefeated in the playoffs and they aren't getting any love. That's weird to me.

I really hope that this season isn't all about winning another championship. Yes, that is the goal and I hope we do. However, I think enjoying the ride is important and trashing the team if we don't win it all is pretty lame. I guess that is kinda calling people out and I'm sorry. Not trying to be mean.

I guess I'm just saying that maybe it's a good idea to enjoy the process. Y'all dig that?

Said it earlier in the year, the regular season doesn't really mean anything, especially when you're the Cavs and you are by far the best team in your conference, with no close second (I get that they aren't the 1 seed, but if they wanted to win the 1 seed, they probably could have. They don't play for regular season feats).

Everything will be decided in the playoffs. They may not win this year. It's insanely hard in all pro sports to win back to back. Really really tough. Ask the Warriors.

You can easily forget teams that won championships as the years pass, but it's really really hard to forget teams that win multiple in a row. The Bulls, Cowboys, Red Wings and Yankee teams of the 90's. The 49'ers, Edmonton Oilers, and New York Islanders of the 80's.

I would love to see the Cavs go back to back, but I'm not going to freak out if we lose this year, and want everyone traded, and Lue fired. I know people on here will come with those takes, and that's their opinion. I just think it's ridiculous.

I don't want to put the cart before the horse, because we still have a series to play with either a pretty good Washington or Boston team, but the thought of a rubber match with two likely healthy Cavs and Warriors teams is awesome, and will make for incredible television.

39 point loss? And without their best player? I guess the Spurs woke up (or Harden is really that much of a non-star under the big lights).

Conspiracy theorists think Harden got a concussion in game five and didn't play well after that.

I think the Spurs smothered him without fouling and he got frustrated.

Yeah, as soon as the Spurs started keeping their hands down and stopped reaching, Harden was unable to do those fake fouls. Without that he kind of fell apart. I think it's really sad that a player of his caliber would just roll over like that. It makes you wonder how important winning is to him. There was also a rumor that he was at a strip club until 4am the day of the game.

Is it really a rubber match though since the Warriors added Durant?

But it would make victory that much sweeter. I actually think the Warriors are worse with Durant. I think their team chemistry was better without him.

Back to back for the city of Cleveland would be awesome. I think LeBron wants it bad. Real bad. This is legacy building stuff for him.

Their depth is not as good, but that lineup is a problem obviously. I think our depth is better this year and I think we can score at a better clip if needed ... but man, stopping them is a chore

It is, I think the move of signing Durant just adds to it. Don't get me wrong, I think it was a pretty weak move on Durant's part.

If the Warriors don't win this year, Durant will still draw huge money in free agency, but there are going to be serious questions about him, and playing in big games.

He was well within his right to go to the Warriors, but he really should have stayed in OKC. I thought they had the right mix to beat the Warriors. Everyone just needed to play a little better.

If he wasn't going to GS, he would of made Washington a complete team.

But going to GS was a free ticket to the finals. So yeah.

Not sure who I want to win tonight between Boston and Washington. I think Washington's speed, tempo, and athleticism would tire us out more, but it's hard for me to root for Boston because they are the dirtiest team in the league.

I want Washington to win, only because we'll get a Game 7 to watch and it's one more game to tire either of them out.

Oh yeah, as for the series. I have no idea. Washington scares me more because they seem to match-up better, but Boston is so whiny and dirty.

One Player Hurting one player on the Cavs doesn't make them "the dirtiest team" in the NBA
tsktsk

For rest purposes, I want the celtics to win because I think it will be a sweep and our team will have plenty of rest before the finals.

For player purposes, I want the wizards to win, because Wall will give kyrie a much needed wake up call, and a tough series could finally have kyrie take that next step. Wall has taken it to kyrie.

We have seen wall elevate his game every season. Kyrie hasn't. Either it's because he's that good, or he doesn't need to ascend since Lebron is on the team. But I really want kyrie to have a difficult ECF series that way he can go into the finals in killer instinct mode.

You're right..........and in fact, I didn't even consider that play. I made my observation based on how dirty Boston is night in and night out.

The end of this game was pretty epic. Washington lives to die another day.

Meanwhile I clicked on some racist show on TNT with Charles Barkley and I dont know what fresh hell I stumbled into. Its called American Race.

I don't see it at as rubber match either, seeing as how it is highly likely they meet in the Finals again next year, barring any unforeseen injuries.

On a side note, while I'm a greedy Cavs fan (at the moment) , I took the fam up to 7 games this year and I make sure to remind my 8 and 9 year old to really enjoy these game, because they're watching live, quite arguably, the best player to ever play the game.

I've got my eye on some tickets to the Finals and think I am going to surprise the fam and take them up. A treat to myself as well!
