“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
Not sure who to root for. I really dislike GSW. But I think SA is a tougher matchup for us in the Finals. And if we beat SA in the Finals, how often are we going to hear "But the Cavs didn't have to beat the Warriors"

I don't think you'll hear that..because imo, spurs are the much better team..They play great system ball and create mismatches with their rotations...GSW are just a great shooting team, when shooting goes cold, well we already know how that goes with a mike brown coached team. I want no part of SA in the finals
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne
Reminds me of when my older brother used to spot me 15 points in a game to 21.
Then magically beat me every time 22-20.
The Spurs did well until Leonard got hurt, but I kinda expected that to happen and then for them to end up getting beat at the end. Plus, GS is just too good, ya can't count them out.
Good game to watch.
I wonder if Leonard will play next game? I hope so.
that's a horrible loss for SA. Probably a sweep now

yeah without leonard its a wrap...he really makes that team go...but shame on spurs for blowing that big of a lead...they didn't nothing well the second half...they have noone that can take up the slack missing parker and leonard.. GSW seem to get all the breaks.. I hope its them coming out of the west for two reasons, one the rubber match, and two, i think we can beat them

Wait. GS beat someone missing two of their best players?
No way!
It seems like the last three seasons, the only two teams they met at full strength were the Cavs and the Thunder. And both teams took them to seven games.
I taped the game and just finished watching it. I have some thoughts about it:
--GS complains on almost every call made against them. Of course, they then get almost every call as the game progresses.
--GS is the second dirtiest team in the league after Boston.
--LA is such a talented player, but there is something about him I don't like. He's too complacent. Doesn't seem to have the fire burning w/in.
--Why does Green get away w/so much? Dude gets a technical for taunting and freaks out. He chases down the official, screams at him, uses many expletives.......and it's okay. He has similar instances a few times a game. Double standards.
--I really respect Ginobli as a player. On that one steal, he has his ball side foot up, which allows him to deflect the pass.....then he goes down the court, hesitates, and uses his right hand [he's left handed for those who don't watch] and gets fouled and makes the bucket. What a smart player.
--ZaZa is a jerk. I think that foul on Leonard was intentional. Stepped right on his injured foot and then cries.
--Spurs have class. Most GS guys act like an ass.
--I hope the Cavs pound the crap out of these guys!

Couldn't agree more here. GS is very dirty and is a bunch of whiners. I'm so tired of them to be honest.
Aldridge is ultra talented, but has no belly. As a coach, you love/hate those types. It seems like you can beat anybody with them, but rarely win the big ones.

It's about the Detroit series in 2007 that shifted Lebron from "up-and-comer" to full blown "superstar".
What I'm surprised it didn't mention, was the dunk on Rasheed Wallace in game 3, which IMHO, has to be the most underrated dunk in his career. They were down two game to none at that point. People were questioning Lebron's ability to take over games like a super-star. It's late in Game 3 with a tight game, and Lebron throws down this ...
Not only did it shift the game momentum, but it shifted the momentum of the entire NBA. Cavs won that game, then the next. He throws up his 48-point Game 5 and then wins the ECF. After that dunk, Detroit never won a playoff game against Lebron (0-12) ... and Lebron has basically dominated the East.

For all the talk of how great the west is and all that, they haven't really beaten a really good team over the last three seasons other than OKC last year.
2015 - NOR, MEM, HOU
2016 - HOU, POR, OKC
2017 - POR, UTA, SAS
These aren't crappy teams by any stretch, but it's certainly not running any gauntlet. That doesn't even factor in all the injuries their opponents have gone through. Kind of amazing. But they'll cry about the refs and losing Bogut as to why they lost. Their fans really are the best.
I think Washington's athleticism and transition offense could tire us out a bit more for the Finals.
On the other hand, Boston is dirty, more physical, and less likely to choke.
All I know is I really wanna beat either team and freaking beat GS again in the Finals, because no team annoys me more than GS. They whine about every freaking call and get away w/more than any other team.
I don't think so. I think he'll score on Kyrie [if Kyrie covers him] but I don't think he'll be stopping Kyrie either.
I didn't like Kyrie all that much in the past, but the dude has stepped up his game. I think he is NOW receiving more criticism than he deserves. He is a clutch player that was a huge part of why we won it all.

I'm glad it was boston, they don't have the talent to keep up with us, this goes 5 maybe..we steal home court back tomorrow. Washington had a lot of matchups that could have given us fits. Key for us is going to be matching Boston's physicality and let them know their shenanigans won't work and to punch them in the mouth game 1

I don't think Boston can stop our size, but Thomas will be a tricky matchup. I anticipate a lot of TT on the perimeter (much like GS last year)

if John Wall could actually shoot he'd be the 2nd best player in the NBA ... he's got the tragic flaw though
