Hey how'd you get my yearbook photo?!

I'm betting kids that act like idiots and are crying disrespectful little snots are the fault of parents, not the teachers or schools.

People can ignore or turn away from my comment, but that's the reason. We have been breeding an impotent male population for 25-30 years.


It's probably more like 40, but it took a while to take hold.



Now, act like a guy, get thrown out of school unless you take drugs. We have a nation of wimp men. We are doomed.

really sick of the old dinosaurs calling people wimps. cause those actions were from your generation and older, and was easily top 3 wimpiest crap in US history.

I know you are trying to be lighthearted, but it's true.

Take the millions of boys on drugs off of them, and I might give your comments more credence.


You do understand that millions of young boys are placed on drugs to keep them "still" in class, don't you?

I'll say this peen, I agree that kids today don't have it as tough as we did. They don't get away with school yard fights like we did either. BUT nobody ever came to school with a gun to kill other kids either. We brought hunting guns to school for show-n-tell, that's about it.

And one point Clem nails is that WE didn't have it as tough as our fathers, or their fathers... so on and so on.

I blame BOTH

Just watched a CNN bit with Sen. Ben Sasse (R) talking about kids and parenting with a new book out about the subject... He made some very good points and might have a solid answer to the snowflake, soft kid syndrome. Basically says we as parents don't teach our kids the difference between need and desire, instill the value of hard work and working your way up anymore. Based solely on this interview, I found a republican politician that I like.

Every Generation has it's own idiosyncrasy's to say the least . Every Generation has ( for the most part ) had life a little easier than the ones that came before . History made the Greatest Generation ; ( no called them Wimps ) ..
I don't recall Baby Boomers being called Wimps .. Wild , reckless maybe .. Not to much in the way oF disrespectful .
Am I wrong ?
