Great game last name between C's and Wizards.

I like the C's as my 2nd fav team in the NBA, but I gotta roll with Lebron on this.

More interested than the game? No. Interested, yes.

When we were most likely to get the #1 pick I was definitely more interested than the games.

Do we even have a pick this year? Do we even have a pick before 2020? rofl

We should have next years 1st round pick. Not 100% why there's a "(usually)" below. I grabbed that from here.

"The NBA thereafter instituted the "Stepien Rule," which states that a team (usually) cannot trade its first-round pick in consecutive years."

Good read - NBA Draft Lottery: Each team's odds of getting No. 1 pick, potential picks at each spot

Important Draft Notes (taken from the above article):
- As has been well documented, the Boston Celtics have the right to swap picks with the Brooklyn Nets via the Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett trade.
- The Los Angeles Lakers' pick will go to the Philadelphia 76ers (via the Michael Carter-Williams trade) if it falls outside the top three.
- The situation with the Sacramento Kings' pick is confusing, and there is a good breakdown here. The basics: If it falls inside the top 10, the Philadelphia 76ers have the right to swap picks. If it falls outside the top 10, it will go to the Chicago Bulls.
- The New Orleans Pelicans' pick (via the Buddy Hield trade) will go to Sacramento unless it falls inside the top three.

I think it'll be hilarious if the Lakers pick gets sent to the 76ers after all this Lavar Ball stuff and how he prefers/demands the Lakers draft his son.

I know almost nothing about Lonzo, but somehow I want him to go to the Suns just to stick it to his dad. Assuming that's the least beneficial team for Lavar's BBB plan.

I'd like to see us buy another pick and get a developmental Big, we seem to go through them like paper.

So if you're Philly. Do you want the "4th" pick this year. Or an unprotected pick next year?

Lonzo ball has way too much hype and way too little skill to be successful in the NBA.

He is a 6 ppg / 4 reb / 4 ast career player in my mind.

Are the games ONLY on TNT. Or do they get simulcasted on local stations as well?

I don't have cable. Don't want it. But am tired of streaming.

Luckily the Finals are on ABC.

Like strife said, Zo has an OK skillset, great vision, and an awkward shooting motion. His shots are going in now, but it might not translate to the NBA. Personally I see him as a Shaun Livingston post injury. Lavar will outlast his son.

Yeah they're some big ballers!

I think Lamelo will be the best. I think LiAngelo could develop as a d league player for a bit. I think he could stay in the league with his shooting. I think Lonzo is gonna fit in well as a nice role player.

I am rooting harder for the Cavs this year than last. I didn't like the firing of Blatt and the in-fighting during the middle of the year. I thought the Cavs were going to fall short.

Well, they proved me wrong by winning the title in dramatic fashion. This year, people on this board seem to be more critical than complimentary. It might just be that one or two posters give me that overall impression, but I don't think it's fair.

They are undefeated in the playoffs and not getting much love. I think that is a shame. I personally am going to enjoy and cherish the good times while they are here.

Additionally, I absolutely despise Boston and GS. I really respect and admire San Antonio, but man, they are screwed because of Leonard's injury, and they were already the underdog.

I wanna see the Cavs flourish in the upcoming series and I am going to savor every good moment that presents itself.

looks like Ball to the Lakers is in the cards

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

If I'm Boston I try to swing the First pick for a good player.

A rookie Gaurd isn't going to help them.

Don't fret. Cavs are repeating.

Is anyone really afraid of Durant? LeBron owns him. The guy is big time soft. He left his championship caliber team to play with the team that knocked him out of the playoffs. That's charmin soft. LeBron isn't playing for championships anymore; he's playing for legacy. GS will have to carry him off the court to win.

Kyrie isn't afraid of anyone. Guy has ice in his veins. He needs it for how stupid he plays, but you cannot deny that the moment is not too big for him. And Curry is soft as hell. Kyrie loves playing Curry.

Love will negate Draymond.

JR will negate Thompson.

I'm literally not worried at all. Cavs in 6.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

So GS sweeps a broken down Spurs.

And then in game 4, up 3-0, Cavs leading by 20, someone from Boston "accidently" falls into the side of Lebrons knee..

Sound about right?

GS will indeed sweep.

Cavs will dispatch of the Celtics like a morning constitutional.

The Cavs will walk away injury free. The "expect the something bad to happen" Cleveland fan is no more, that's seemingly a carryover Browns mentality.

So draymond was whining about the lack of competition the Cavs play against, while they are now 10-0 against the blazers, jazz, and Spurs, who are missing two starters.

Ok.

I look at it this way.

I think Blazers/Pacers and Jazz/Raptors would be two competitive series.

And Boston would definitely beat this current version of the Spurs..

It boils down to, they are all teir two/three teams.

Besides a healthy Spurs.

Literally everyone has just been waiting for GS/Cle.

It was def dirty. The GSW have really bought into Silicon Valley's win by any means philosophy. Granted the Spurs had Bowen as their enforcer for years. I still remember him kicking Wally Szczerbiak in the face, while going for a block on a pump fake. That said, the game has changed a fair amount. It's not as rough as it was in the 00's, or the 90's, certainly not the 80's and 70's. After the Artest fight the NBA really changed its image. Now that many of the old guard, who would clear the bench, have retired the NBA hasn't really seen that level of physicality.
