Actually, the linked article explains that he became the 10th DB as a result of other roster moves. He wasn't the 10th DB when he made the roster. He was the ninth. Ninth on a unit where the starters are arguably among the best in the league as a unit. Ninth on a 53 man roster that usually keeps nine DBs. A UDFA who showed enough value to make the final roster. And remain on that roster for the full regular season. A player who was productive in special teams. The fact that he was last on the depth chart of a top tier team in the league doesn't over shadow that he was able to make the final roster of said team.

So we can chose to emphasize whatever portions of his resume we as posters prefer to place emphasis. For me, the Powell glass is half full.

I always saw Kindred as more of a SS. He may be Peppers' back up.

could be the case

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

That's fine. But, do I have to agree w/you?

I said "we'll see." The guy was undrafted and released. I'm not going to get too excited until I see him perform on the field. I never said he sucked or would be cut. I said..."we'll see." Hope that is okay.....

No you don't have to agree. We have a difference of opinion and I'm arguing my position vigorously.

Good, because I will only change my mind when I see it on the field. And again, I have no interest in changing your mind. I just want to speak my mind w/out all the little comments about not being realistic, not being positive, etc

Campbell will be cut.

Kindred will play backup to Peppers in your traditional 4-3 alignment.

If Peppers is put in the box at times, then I can see Kindred playing SS.
