Other than Joe Thomas, Garrett is my favorite first round draft pick that the new Browns have ever made.

All I know for sure is that I am thrilled that we drafted such a talented and high character player like Myles Garrett.

think YOU need to re-read what you wrote. You flat out stated some guys are getting more support than Garrett.
Not true, we all know how good Garrett can be, while we only hope these other guys can be Good football players.
Just because you like to always put the turd in the punch bowl doesn't mean we have to support your turd tongue

He said "over Garrett."

I did NOT say that.

And you are cute w/your turd comment, but I am praising Garrett, so you are not even making sense.

Garrett strikes me to be a guy similar to Joe Thomas.

He says and does the right things, and he apparently has that drive to be great. There's no controversy with him. That makes him easy to overlook, though that will change once the season starts.

Lol, probably. But I really think it's because we've already got MG pencilled in to be a terror, we're taking him for granted already and more concerned about the other draft picks. wink.

I think Garrett was the only way to go with the first pick. There was nobody else that should've been picked there.

Leading up to the draft, the chatter was mostly "are they going to pick Garrett, or are they going to screw up this pick?" They picked Garrett, and everyone exhaled.

The fact that there is little to discuss regarding Garrett at this time of year is indicative that people are really high on him. There's nothing to debate about him.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I really wasn't sure how I would've acted had we went a different route. He was the the choice to make and such an easy one at that.

I truly believe he will be a significant piece to the defense. Not being 100% schooled on William's scheme, I feel like a four man front - he has opportunities for not only himself, but he'll create opportunities for others. You just simply cannot double team everyone and my understanding is pressure will be dialed in a lot with Williams as the signal caller.

I hate when my mind wonders, but this defense of ours "could be" something extremely fun to watch on Sundays. We're so use to seeing our QBs get driven down to the ground and etc, it would be great to see the tides reversed.

I think it has to do with the fact there's more to speculate on with the other guys. With Garrett it's simply about releasing the hounds of hell.

(And he certainly is saying and doing the right things. Love that he's earned Joe T's respect.)

These last 3 or 4 posts make a lot of sense.

I was just trying to give Garrett a little love in my own way. LOL

Garrett strikes me to be a guy similar to Joe Thomas.

And knowing he was going 1 or two he didn't wish to be part of the big ME ME ME hoopla at Philadelphia. Similar to Joe Thomas on his Fishing trip. Of course Garrett stayed home not to fish but to be with close family and friends.

Man I know most here don't respect my opinions cause I'm a devout HOMER...still I'm liking this Browns Team in their Build up like no OTHER.

I hope he plays better than Joe.

In 10 season Thomas only has 8 tackles and not one recorded sack...

Can you say buuuuust..

Awesome.
So nice to have the rookie pay scale in place. The days of wondering if our high pick rookies will ever show up to camp are basically over.

Chargers tried to screw Bosa on that one. Wouldn't give him a signing bonus or make his contract offset (where the chargers would pay bosa part of his contract, if he was cut and signed by another team). Most teams will give you one or the other. Chargers wanted to screw him over though.

Glad to see him in early.

I like this kid more and more every day. I can't wait to see him at full speed, on the field. I think that he is a special player.
