I know it's small in the grands scheme of things, but I really want that perfect play off record to continue. I want the defending champs to beat a team that is missing their best player like they are supposed to..lol Absolutely!
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

How is this game even close... Even if we win which is in doubt... Lue needs to rip these guys... Should never have been this close...

Our inability to defend anything has been the problem. You can't expect teams to miss everything. GS would shred us defending like we have this game

JR will hit another three. Well, that'll be the plan.

This team is going to give me a heart attack the way they only shoot when the shot clock has less than 5 seconds.

Yep don't defend the three and you get bounced at home. Great effort guys. Pathetic

That was a regular season effort

Cavs deserved that one. Completely mailed in the second half. Lebron played like he had the night off.

That was a regular season effort Yep. I was just gonna say what will be the headline in tomorrow's Plain Dealer? 'Cavs return to regular season's form.' Time for bed.

Meh, delaying the inevitable. Wouldn't put it past LeBron to not have given his best, to test his team and their psyche and how they'll respond to a loss.

Good to see no one wanting to trade Lebron, cut Kyrie, put Love on IR, or wanting to fire Lue.

j/c:
We win and almost nothing. We lose and the thread erupts. And, we were treated to an avalanche of posts by lead. LOL
My thoughts on the game:
--Kyrie was more aggressive, but both Bradley and Smart are good defenders. Gotta be smart against those guys. Can't leave your feet or over-commit.
--Love was lighting it up and that full court pass was one of the best I have ever seen.
--TT is proving to be a real force in this league. Glad the Cavs didn't listen to the fans and save some money. He's our glue.
--This is the first game in the playoffs where LeBron didn't look focused. I'm not going to worry about it, though.
--It's been easy for the Cavs and they were coasting in the second half. The Celtics played w/pride and fought back. We just couldn't turn it back on. It's disappointing, but it's not that big of a deal. It's a lesson learned.

Sad outing. We are better and I agree with this list. We need to be aggressive in the paint. At this point, we need to get out of our own way. Second half struck me as too casual.
We get way too involved in threes at time. Hope we get the next win.
PS I put my broom away. Back to hard-nosed business as usual, I hope.

I think we just got a bit too arrogant, plus the Celtics really brought the defense in the 4th.
It happens. That was a wake up call game, so as long as the guys bring it tomorrow night everything will be fine.

That last basket by the Celtics was crazy. I thought it wouldn't go in and then OT. Love had a good game. We'll get 'em next time.

Say what you want about Isaiah Thomas, but they're WAY better on d without him. That was a little factor. Plus, we eased off the gas, LBJ was non-existent, and Celtics made shots. Perfect storm ... looks like we gotta win tomorrow

Easily one of lebron's worst playoff games, i read it was the largest lead a team with lebron had ever blown in the playoffs. You know that has to bug him. Especially when you can't say others didn't pull their weight, well other then our bench who was beyond bad and looked like the nursing home it is. But I guess lebron got into a verbal altercation with heckler on way to podium as well. I told my brother last night before game this looked like a trap game and it was. I expect a pissed off lebron for game 4 and a blowout and restore balance in the cosmos. I'd love to see SA take one

Much like game 2 in Boston was a wake up call for the Celtics.

In other Cavs related news ... the Cavs might of dodged an off-season bullet: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/246...l-Ops-For-MagicDavid Griffin was supposedly the top guy on the list for that position. Looks like the Magic just got impatient and went another direction.

Thank goodness for that. Hopefully we re-sign him to a 10 year deal.

They were never going to get permission from the Cavs to interview him before the playoffs were over. That means they had to move on because they had to start planning their off-season.

All I know is that I want to keep Griffin. The guy is doing an excellent job. He pulls off a minor miracle or two every year and he isn't afraid to spend Gilbert's money.
