the pass by love on that miss was amazing..never seen another big that has the touch he does..he makes it look easy
Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday. -John Wayne
Not really. Lebron sprints down court and gets "open" enough for Love to make the connection before the Defense gets back. Cherry-picking is where you just camp out under the basket and don't bother to play defense at all. (Although, Lebron can be guilty of that at times too)

No one in the pros is going to do what you described. Hence the "professional version" descriptor I used.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
But I don't think anyone else in the NBA can make those passes.
LeBron.
He's definitely one half of the equation. I don't think anyone can make those passes like Love and his success rate is even higher with LeBron as the receiver. Love said that last night as well with Ernie and the crew.

βTo announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.β
I feel like anyone that would pick Green over Irving doesn't know anything about basketball.
Maybe. But green is certainly a better point guard than Irving.
Let that sink in.

Draymond was literally the best defender in basketball. He was the best in the paint and top 5 on the perimeter. He can shoot the three and pass. He's so much better than TT on offense and defense. He's better than Love on defense by miles. Draymond is a beast. He's like the 2004 Pistons team all in one person.
I don't see Curry. He's a one trick pony, his inside game isn't playoff great. Kyrie is a few years younger than him and can shoot just as deep as him.
As far as Pop vs Lue: I don't think it would be much different. I think the players trust Lue just as much. I think Pop might run more pick and rolls with different players, but you gotta keep that stuff top secret before you face the real enemy. Either way I think Pop would have same results as Blatt/Lue.

I don't agree with you about Curry being able to do only one thing, but, for the sake of argument, let's say he can only do one thing. He is literally the best at that one thing in the history of the world.
(I think he is also a great ball-handler, passer, and a pretty good help defender.)
But yeah, anyone who doesn't get what Draymond Green doesn't know anything about basketball.
Do you guys ever feel stupid for the comments you make?
Sheesh! We sweep two opponents and there are hardly any comments. We win the first two in dominating fashion and again there is very little talk. We lose one game and you guys go off. You were freaking out in this game, yet we end up winning.
Freaking annoying as hell.
yes, but it is very entertaining to read the whole thread the day after the game
You may be in the drivers seat but God is holding the map. #GMSTRONG
But that is probably irrelevant, because I don't know anything about basketball.
I agree.
Green being on GS allows him to play in a fashion he wouldn't be afforded on pretty much any other team. He's an effort, try hard guy that's allowed to fill in the blanks for their team. He's not terribly skilled. The players on GS are a perfect fit and complement to each other.
Durant is going to be good no matter what team he plays on. Curry is going to be good no matter what team he plays on. Thompson is going to be solid. Green is a JAG on any other team.
I wait for the day when Green defects for a team dumb enough to give him a huge contract.

I've said it before.
On a regular team.
He's Bismack Biyombo.
But with a douchey attitude.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
Draymond Green is a high effort guy. That's why I'd want him over Curry. TT is a high effort guy. However, Draymond can guard anyone in the NBA and shoot the three. Could you imagine the spacing we could enjoy if TT could shoot like Draymond?

Biyombo cannot guard point guards. He cannot guard shooting guards. He cannot guard small forwards. He cannot guard most power forwards. He cannot shoot threes. He cannot handle the ball. He cannot pass.
I'd go KD and Green. I think Curry vs. Irving is a wash, when you consider their performances in the Finals. Thompson is damn close, but it's hard to really know a lot of him because he's been hidden all season.
β...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!β

That's the crazy thing about the Warriors, I don't think even think they've played their best game yet. Thompson hasn't even caught fire yet.
I am really looking forward to the Finals. It is going to be a very intriguing matchup. On paper the Warriors should run them off the floor, but the Cavs have LeBron and he changes everything.
Irving was so awesome last night. Was literally going nuts in the locker room before my game watching the last few minutes.
Cavs got a much needed wakeup call in game 3. They finally got pushed around a little bit. Outside of that first half of Game 3 in Indiana, it has been way too easy for them. Yeah they had some close finishes, and leads dwindled, but Boston had them stumped for almost 4 straight quarters between games 3 and 4.
Doesn't mean anything in the long run. It's an extra game that the Cavs didn't want to play. I think the Cavs will clean things up, although there is no doubt that Boston is a better team without Thomas on the floor, and having to actually run a legitimate offense.
Totally baffled by the way Lebron played in game 3 and a big chunk of game 4. He seemed hesitant. Body language seemed to lack confidence in his jumper and that put his whole game off, even on the defensive end. Kinda weird.
Should be an awesome finals. Golden State will be favored. I don't think they will be as big of favorites as they were last year, but I think there are some factors that play better into GSW's favor. Home court, the bad taste in their mouth from last year, and I would imagine the guys in that locker room and rallying around Kevin Durant, who hasn't won a championship. The Cavs don't really have that any more. I mean I'm sure the guys wanna see Korver get a ring, but he's a role guy. Not exactly the same.
Cavs can't defend the way they have if they want to have a chance. It's gotta get stepped up. I expect a fun series though. Hopefully we'll get one fun series this playoff season, yikes.
I liked your post, but I think the Cavs' defense has been pretty darn good during the playoffs. They've been a little shaky the last game and a half, but other than that, I think their defense has been a strength in the playoffs.
yeah, he has seemed lethargic .. hope that's all it is
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Sadly for the NBA ... they didn't anticipate Cleveland's 2nd shooter (Kyrie Irving) being such a factor

That was a mistake, it amazes me how he makes it through the guys that are guarding the basket, the angle you get on tv makes it look like there's no way through, next thing you know he's making some physics defying lay up with a couple of defenders (at least) standing there going, 'where'd he go? he was just here!'
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

It helps that LeBron could have very easily been an NFL wide receiver if he had chosen that route in about the 10th grade.
With his strength, size, and speed, he would have made one heck of a TE.
