We’ve known that the Cleveland Browns’ rookie class in 2016 led the NFL in snaps, but Pro Football Focus did a wonderful job of putting it into perspective compared to the other 31 teams:
The Browns led all teams with 5,521 snaps, and the Vikings were dead last with 347 snaps. The team closest to the Browns was the Colts, but they were still a staggering 1,128 snaps away from Cleveland.

It's hard for a rookie to play on a team where he has experienced players all around him, to help him and pick up for his little mistake. (like re-positioning the rookie pre-snap, and such) I cannot imagine the difficulty a rookie would have playing among a bunch of other rookies.

yea i agree. i mean think about it. the most successful and experienced player on defense wasn't even on the team until mid season (collins). Haden can only teach the corners so much, as well as the secondary as a whole. who were the safeties suppose to learn from?
don't even get me started on the front 4 defensive line.

I've always been very subjective on grading drafts. Some people on here like to press that any miss is enough to fire someone. It's just not reality. Even the best managers have bad years. It's more about longevity, luck and good schemes to build a winner.
That said post year 1(which in no way is a finished eval) I think we had an average draft both in potential and depth. Now technically if you total it just the sheer amount of picks we probably are top 5 but that's another post.
Coleman is exactly as i expected. Raw, flashes of homerun plays. I never really expected him to be a centerpiece(like I thought Dotson was) but rather a high end compliment. He could bust but I think it would have to be injury related or just never fully develop. As is he's still a good no2 a vital part of the O. I see him as somewhere between Kenny stills and Steve Smith.
Ogbah was a target of mine. The production, build and drive that shouldn't last to the 2nd round and he was the best pick of the year imo. I think he could eventually be the best 43 LE in the league. He has shown the commitment and play to warrant that possibility.
Shon Coleman I think will be a brown for a long time. We haven't seen much yet but I take Joe's word for it.
Drango needs some time. Ol without elite athletic ability just need time but I was impressed. In time he should develop into a respectable starter or a great backup. Good kid too.
Other than those 4 there are still a ton of question marks. I'm not certain any of them are more than good depth though I think most of them should make a roster and be a valuable backup. Kessler is about as sure a bet as you get to be at least a solid backup. These other guys still have a lot to prove.

Geez Fellas, it's just some stats.. In the end, they don't mean much other than we played a lot of rookies last season.
Given that we were the youngest team (or close to it)with the most rookies, (or close to it) that was bound to happen.
If it means nothing else, it means that some of those rookies, if they stick, will have a year under their belts. Hopefully, it will make them smarter and better and more prepared.

He has #2 written all over him (if he can stay healthy). I don't know why the coaches & FO keep touting him as the #1 WR. Guess they can't admit they drafted a #2 in the first round. Probably makes 'em choke on their own bile to think about it. I've met the kid, spent the morning shooting a commercial, then had lunch with him. Great guy, but small. My calves are bigger than his thighs.

I'm not saying it's a fail we drafted him. Not yet anyway. But I don't see him as a clearly dominant #1 WR. Nothing about him says that to me, including the ability to stay on the field, let alone be a complete mismatch for the other teams' #1 DBs. Right now I'd be happy to see him play several straight weeks, with an average of 60 ypg.
