We’ve known that the Cleveland Browns’ rookie class in 2016 led the NFL in snaps, but Pro Football Focus did a wonderful job of putting it into perspective compared to the other 31 teams:
The Browns led all teams with 5,521 snaps, and the Vikings were dead last with 347 snaps. The team closest to the Browns was the Colts, but they were still a staggering 1,128 snaps away from Cleveland.
Here is the full breakdown of rookie snaps for Cleveland in 2016, not including special teams:
Browns’ Rookie Snap Counts in 2016

This is part of the reason why we were 1-15, but will be a big reason for improvement in 2017. The more experience these guy get, the better it is for the Browns in the long run.

It's hard for a rookie to play on a team where he has experienced players all around him, to help him and pick up for his little mistake. (like re-positioning the rookie pre-snap, and such) I cannot imagine the difficulty a rookie would have playing among a bunch of other rookies.

yea i agree. i mean think about it. the most successful and experienced player on defense wasn't even on the team until mid season (collins). Haden can only teach the corners so much, as well as the secondary as a whole. who were the safeties suppose to learn from?
don't even get me started on the front 4 defensive line.

He pretty much took the reps that Bitonio would have had if he didn't go on IR.
Rookies all progress its about what level of progress they make. Most of the guys we had as rookies all work hard and are football intelligent. So that progress is a good thing.
Now not too many have mad skills. there are 3 that look pretty good. There are several who can become bonafide NFL starters.
I think this crop we got in 2017 is much more laden with Impact talent compared with last year. But a good foundation was laid out and we will build on those blocks!
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
Nothing tops experiance ... Looking forward to 2017

I've always been very subjective on grading drafts. Some people on here like to press that any miss is enough to fire someone. It's just not reality. Even the best managers have bad years. It's more about longevity, luck and good schemes to build a winner.
That said post year 1(which in no way is a finished eval) I think we had an average draft both in potential and depth. Now technically if you total it just the sheer amount of picks we probably are top 5 but that's another post.
Coleman is exactly as i expected. Raw, flashes of homerun plays. I never really expected him to be a centerpiece(like I thought Dotson was) but rather a high end compliment. He could bust but I think it would have to be injury related or just never fully develop. As is he's still a good no2 a vital part of the O. I see him as somewhere between Kenny stills and Steve Smith.
Ogbah was a target of mine. The production, build and drive that shouldn't last to the 2nd round and he was the best pick of the year imo. I think he could eventually be the best 43 LE in the league. He has shown the commitment and play to warrant that possibility.
Shon Coleman I think will be a brown for a long time. We haven't seen much yet but I take Joe's word for it.
Drango needs some time. Ol without elite athletic ability just need time but I was impressed. In time he should develop into a respectable starter or a great backup. Good kid too.
Other than those 4 there are still a ton of question marks. I'm not certain any of them are more than good depth though I think most of them should make a roster and be a valuable backup. Kessler is about as sure a bet as you get to be at least a solid backup. These other guys still have a lot to prove.
Actually you missed the mark by a mile. Most every poster I've seen promotes giving this FO and coaching staff the time it takes to implement their system. Who is it you claim is calling for any of them to be fired? I haven't seen it.
Just because some of us take each action individually and don't agree with every move they make doesn't mean anyone is calling for their job.
Many of us simply realize they're human beings and not some type of Gods. As such, they will make good moves and bad moves.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

1. Chill. This kind of I'm right you missed by a mile is exactly what being subjective isn't. Not really sure why you sound triggered. Half of your post is literally exactly what I said. You seem confused. Read again what is said because you aren't arguing against me.
2. Some is the inverse of most so again you are not actually referencing my point But agreeing with it while saying I'm wrong lol
3. I didn't refer to this regime but if you think that some people don't come on here after picks are made and say so and so isn't qualified or wtf or anything really without basis then I'm sorry but we disagree. I don't believe in supporting or damning anything until there's basis for that action. Now educating and discussing in a subjective manner? That's what I'm talking about!
4. On the god remark, those same people think Ozzie is a God. I remember posting his true track record last year I think it was and poof no comments. Even with his good run that led to a Superbowl his selections are average.
Some people do. Most people don't. This is grade school level comprehension. If anyone would like to have a real conversation can we please move on from this white night bs please. You might have time for it pit but it is a waste of mine.
Since it was you who actually said it, then tried to claim you really didn't say it, I can understand your feelings on the subject. It's obvious you have no intention on answering the question about a statement you actually made so yeah, let's just move on. lol

Geez Fellas, it's just some stats.. In the end, they don't mean much other than we played a lot of rookies last season.
Given that we were the youngest team (or close to it)with the most rookies, (or close to it) that was bound to happen.
If it means nothing else, it means that some of those rookies, if they stick, will have a year under their belts. Hopefully, it will make them smarter and better and more prepared.

He has #2 written all over him (if he can stay healthy). I don't know why the coaches & FO keep touting him as the #1 WR. Guess they can't admit they drafted a #2 in the first round. Probably makes 'em choke on their own bile to think about it. I've met the kid, spent the morning shooting a commercial, then had lunch with him. Great guy, but small. My calves are bigger than his thighs.

Lol I don't get you but I give up trying to explain it.

I don't think it was a fail to draft him it's just pretty rare that a smaller speed wr is considered a #1. Many like him may be #1 on their respective depth charts but I still consider them complimentary wrs. Guys like cooks, deseasn Jackson etc come to mind. Maybe that thought process is antiquated though. Not sure. He may be a top32 wr eventually

I'm not saying it's a fail we drafted him. Not yet anyway. But I don't see him as a clearly dominant #1 WR. Nothing about him says that to me, including the ability to stay on the field, let alone be a complete mismatch for the other teams' #1 DBs. Right now I'd be happy to see him play several straight weeks, with an average of 60 ypg.
