Former Ohio Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich came to President Donald Trump’s defense Wednesday and said that “politicized” federal agencies are trying to “take down” the president by illegally leaking sensitive and classified information.
Kucinich, a staunch liberal who served in Congress from 1996-2013, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the issue poses a “clear and present danger” to America.
Many Trump supporters believe the media, along with the so-called “deep state” — or influential, longtime, deeply embedded federal bureaucrats — are trying to oust Trump by any means necessary, even if that means illegally leaking classified information.
“You have a politicization of the agencies that is resulting in leaks from anonymous, unknown people and the intention is to take down a president,” Kucinich said Wednesday night on “Hannity.”
“This is very dangerous to America. It’s a threat to our republic. It constitutes a clear and present danger to our way of life,” he said.

See, the new Trumpian talking point doesn't hold water because NONE of the investigations would release any information or proof that they may have until the investigation is complete. How many times do I have to say that false accusations do not a case make? How many times do I have to tell you the Media is lying and pushing an agenda?

So advocating for other industries besides a dying coal sector is wishing people were out of work? What jobs will you give those people as the coal amounts deplete and they're no longer needed? Just because some of us don't think regressing our country back to the industrial age, doesn't mean we are against labor. Some of us just want to move forward in the world and are eager to show off the opportunities of emerging and new technologies.

Coal may not be the future of energy (it sure as hell is the present and near future at least), but we will always need it as a raw material for anything we may need to make out of steel.

Coal is now free to compete again, fairly, rise or fall, based on market factors. Good luck King Coal!

You know what? Hold on... I agree coal should have been left to die on it's own. But I also think that burning coal is bad for the environment and is a factor in global warming; so it must be regulated and those who use it should pay a carbon tax.

You can burn coal cleanly already, but the costs of doing so makes it cost prohibitive when compared to alternative resources. It's your side that fights the technology, so there have been no real advancements.
Burning coal isn't the only issue with coal though. Mining it is dangerous and destructive. Miners either go into the ground or strip mine coal. I once had to move because a strip mine was granted eminent domain on the land I rented a house on. I was in my early twenties and it didn't bother me much to move, the owner was well payed for the property, so I thought no big deal.
Then I watched the process and it was pretty disgusting. Nothing but destruction and pollution then the reclamation part after the coal was removed was pretty much a joke, just a few inches of topsoil and some wild grasses where there was once a thriving ecosystem on forested land.
And we all know the dangers of mining coal in the mines.
Make coal safe and affordable to burn, figure that out then get back to me.
