I only had $1.80 in my account so, I'm very lucky in that aspect. I guess they shut the sites down because of licensing problem with the Russian Dept. responsible re downloading music. Too bad, they had some nice music that you can't get on the North American downloading websites. Anybody else belong to the site here on the board?

I had an account there, just for that reason you mentioned, couldn't find the stuff on any of the US sites, so they were my last resort, I think I had less than $1.00 left in my account.

I would use Limewire if I were going to download songs and movies and such.

Thief, sorry. You should knwo by now I don't proofread and that even when I did notice that (because I did), I didn't care enough to go back and change it.

Well, that stinks. I tried to sign up on allofmp3.com but they never had the CC deposit thing working. Oh well.

Two other Russian MP3 sites I've used are still up and running - mp3sugar.com and gomusic.ru are still up and running. Wonder how long they'll be around? They also had a lot of tracks you couldn't find in on some of the mainstream sites.

Thanks, I will try them out. I don't know what your tastes in music are like but I like easy listening i.e. music from Cafe Del Mar Series that I downloaded. Even found some nice artists in the Russian section. One was called Bliss........very beautiful music.

I didn't steal them....I just accepted $15 in change when I gave her a $10 for them.

I use mp3sugar.com and like it. The billing company is based in Holland, so you don't have to worry about the Russian mafia stealing your info (only the Dutch mafia). I hope it doesn't get shut down.

Also, they have a disclaimer on their website saying that they pay the artists royalties for their music. I don't know if they actually do, but I give them the benefit of the doubt.
