..... WINNING a battle ... ICE ICE BABY ... http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/06/12/im...minal-operationICE Arrests 113 Criminal Foreign Nationals in Week-Long NJ Sweep The Newark, N.J. field office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of 113 "criminal targets" this week. In a press release, ICE said most of the individuals targeted in the Garden State operation had previous criminal records. The suspects were natives of more than 30 countries and ranged from 18 to 74 years old. ICE highlighted several detainees' criminal records, including an Iraqi convicted of narcotics possession, a Honduran wanted in their home country on homicide charges and at least two people convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor. "It is through collaborative efforts... that law enforcement agencies can combat illegal acts and apprehend criminals who pose a threat to the homeland," said Leon Hayward, acting director of the New York office of Customs & Border Protection. "All of the targets of this operation were criminal in nature," ICE's statement read. It said that 93 percent of those targeted had prior convictions and 87 percent had prior felony convictions.

Not only are the Mexicans staying home, but them and all of our other historic allies are considering walls to keep the American racists out of their countries. lmao #winning

Never seen any evidence of Obama being anti semitic. Must be an alt-fact I'm unaware of... Since Obama put us back on the UN Human Rights Council, Israel is the only country in the world whose "Human Rights Record" is a permanent item on the councils agenda... more resolutions have been written regarding Israel than any other country in the world... including Syria, Venezuela, North Korea, Iran, etc... Rejection of Israeli visas went up by 80% in 2013... all while Obama tried to get more and more refugees in the country with minimal vetting... There were some 7,000 anti-semitic incidents during the Obama years ranging from defaced property to physical assault... the number of assaults on Jews doubled during the Obama years and not much was made of it... maybe if they had been black or gay or Muslim, it might have been newsworthy that the attacks were happening.. I don't know. Or maybe just because his long time pastor, Jeremiah Wright is a well documented anti-semite... And calling everything you don't agree with an "alt-fact" is a serious cop out and a way to stifle honest discussion... Obama's record on Israel was HORRIBLE.

I still don't see evidence that Obama was anti semitic, so alt-facts... You are saying this like it's a fact but it is not, no cop out here.

Touche. You added all of those adjectives, I didn't. According to a Smith Consulting poll carried out for The Jerusalem Post, 65% of the Jewish public – when asked to characterize the positions of the Obama administration – classified them as “more pro-Palestinian.” Only 12% said Obama was “more pro-Israeli,” another 20% said neutral and 3% did not express an opinion.
.... and "my alt-right views"? Yes because I dared be critical of his holiness Barack.... the earth should open and swallow me up and I shall never work in Hollywood again.

I think the fact that we've kissed Israels ass for so long makes them feel offended when we try to be objective.

ICE ICE BABY ... ICE ICE BABY ... https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/14/nyregion/ms13-gang-members-arrested.html?_r=039 Members of MS-13 Are Arrested, Authorities Say Thirty-nine members of MS-13, a brutal gang with roots in Central America, were arrested by the immigration authorities in New York in the past month, officials said on Wednesday. Many of those arrested were on Long Island in Suffolk County, where the authorities have attributed 17 murders to MS-13 since Jan. 1, 2016. In the most recent, four young men were found dead in Central Islip in April. The arrests came as part of an effort to eradicate gangs that operate across international borders. Called Operation Matador, it includes agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE ICE BABY and affiliated Homeland Security investigators, as well as local law enforcement. In addition to the 39 members of MS-13, six members of other violent gangs, such as the Latin Kings and the Sureños, were arrested, officials said. According to the immigration agency, people are considered confirmed gang members if they admit membership or have tattoos of gang symbols, among other factors. “These individuals are members of a violent street gang actively wreaking havoc in the community,” Thomas R. Decker, ICE’s New York field office director for enforcement and removal operations, said in a news release about the arrests. “This unified effort is about keeping New York citizens safe.” Most of those arrested come from El Salvador and Honduras. Five others are from Mexico, and two are from Guatemala, according to the immigration authorities. Twenty had criminal histories, ranging from misdemeanors and disorderly conduct to felony assault and weapons charges. Twelve had originally crossed into America as unaccompanied minors, according to the release. Three others were part of a federal initiative called the Special Immigrant Juvenile program, which is designed to help abused or neglected children find safe haven in the United States. MS-13, also known as La Mara Salvatrucha, was started in the 1980s in Los Angeles by refugees from El Salvador but has grown into a transnational organization.

Ohio father of 4 bids farewell before deportation to MexicoMICHAEL EDISON HAYDEN,ABC News 2 hours 23 minutes ago An Ohio father of four had an emotional farewell with his family this morning before returning to Mexico. Jesus Lara Lopez, who worked at a Pepperidge Farm facility in Willard, Ohio, was seen off by family and about a dozen supporters at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport this morning, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Photographs taken at the airport before his flight show him embracing his children in a series of tearful goodbyes. PHOTO: Jesus Lara Lopez, 37, of Willard, Ohio, comforts his sons before he is deported back to Mexico, July 18, at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. (Lisa DeJong/The Plain Dealer via Barcroft ) When Lopez checked in with immigration officials in March, he was told he was being deported under "an illegal immigration crackdown," his lawyer David Leopold told the press this morning. Lopez has been in the country for 16 years, and his children were born in the U.S., the Plain Dealer reported. A federal immigration judge first ordered Lopez removed in 2011, Khaalid Walls, the Northeast communications director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, told ABC News. In 2014 the agency granted Lopez a stay of removal, Walls said, adding that "in a further exercise of discretion, the agency has allowed him to remain free from custody to finalize his departure plans." "The agency will continue to closely monitor his case to ensure compliance," Walls said. He said that ICE could not confirm for ABC News whether Lopez complied with its request until after he is "successfully repatriated," for operational and security reasons, but would try to provide an update on his status later today. Trump's 'deportation force' begins to take shape Dad fighting deportation has lived in a church for 6 months to keep his family together ABC affiliate WEWS-TV in Cleveland reported that Lopez had never been charged with a crime during his 16 years in the U.S., has paid taxes and did not receive food stamps. Walls noted in response that the lack of a criminal record does not necessarily exempt an unauthorized immigrant from deportation. "As Secretary [John] Kelly and Acting Director [Thomas D.] Homan have stated repeatedly, ICE prioritizes the arrest and removal of national security and public safety threats; however, no class or category of alien in the United States is exempt from arrest or removal," Walls told ABC News. Leopold told WEWS-TV that his client had a valid work permit. The New York Times reported in June that Lopez worked "the graveyard shift packing Milano cookies and Goldfish crackers" at Pepperidge Farm. ABC News reached out to Pepperidge Farm for a comment about Lopez's work permit, and the company said he was hired by a third-party company, Spherion, which manages packaging workers at the facility. Spherion confirmed for ABC News that Lopez had a valid work permit and it hired him in October 2016. "These are the darkest times I've ever seen as an attorney. When the best and the brightest that we have to offer are taken from their homes and sent away," Leopold told reporters. "The law is so broken." America's Voice, an immigration rights advocacy group, posted a statement on its website criticizing the deportation of Lopez from John Sandweg, a former acting director of ICE and a former acting general counsel of the Department of Homeland Security. "Cases like this are an incredible waste of ICE resources that only make it harder for the agency to identify and remove dangerous criminals," he wrote. He added that he believes enforcement resources should be focused on finding criminals and public safety threats instead. Sandweg has been a vocal critic of President Trump's broad promise of reducing illegal immigration to the U.S. a central part of his 2016 campaign. The U.S. was already focused on enforcing immigration rules during the presidency of Barack Obama, who oversaw the removal of more than 2.5 million people through immigration orders, earning him the nickname deporter in chief. "The [Trump] administration's focus on the low-hanging fruit of the enforcement system only allows the bad guys to remain at large, weakening our public safety," Sandweg added. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/ohio-father-4-...topstories.html Y'all might want to click on the link and check out the comments. Meanwhile: Lawmaker Who Assaulted Reporter Fights Court-Ordered Fingerprints, PhotosDana Liebelson,HuffPost 1 hour 59 minutes ago WASHINGTON ― Rep. Greg Gianforte, the Montana Republican who pleaded guilty to assaulting a reporter the day before his election, does not want to be treated like a common criminal ― for more than a month, he has been quietly fighting a court order requiring him to get fingerprinted and photographed at a local jail. The lawmaker was charged with misdemeanor assault for “body-slamming” The Guardian’s Ben Jacobs after the reporter asked a routine policy question. Gianforte was not arrested for the May 24 assault ― law enforcement officials cited him for it a few hours later. Montanans the next day elected the wealthy tech entrepreneur to the House seat Republican Ryan Zinke had vacated to become President Donald Trump’s Interior Department secretary. Gianforte entered his guilty plea on June 12 and was fined $300 and ordered to pay $85 in court costs. He also was given a 6-month deferred sentence and ordered to perform community service, attend anger management counseling and appear at the Gallatin County Detention Center to be photographed and fingerprinted. But Gianforte demurred from the latter part of his punishment. Just a few days later, his legal team filed a motion arguing that the county’s Justice Court does not have the authority to force him to be fingerprinted or photographed because, among other things, he was neither arrested nor charged with a felony. Gallatin County Attorney Marty Lambert plans to file a response to Gianforte’s motion on or before Friday, he told HuffPost. Gianforte, 56, was silent at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday when HuffPost asked why he was fighting the court order. When asked whether he believed other Montanans cited for misdemeanor assault also shouldn’t be fingerprinted and photographed, he walked into his office without comment. Gianforte’s spokesman declined to comment, and his attorneys did not respond to requests for comment. Jacobs also declined to comment. The motion filed by Gianforte’s lawyers appears to hinge on a “really narrow section of the law,” said Andrew King-Ries, a professor who teaches criminal law at the University of Montana. Whether the court has the authority to order Gianforte submit to fingerprinting and photographs is an “open question,” King-Ries said, but requiring such actions for convicted defendants is “probably fairly standard operating procedure.” The debate over the scope of the government’s power to collect personal information raises “really interesting public policy questions,” King-Ries added. But “that debate is not part of the motion,” and Gianforte doesn’t appear to be making a broad philosophical argument, the professor said. The fact that Gianforte wasn’t detained or arrested after Jacobs immediately reported the assault isn’t necessarily unusual. There was “no existing circumstance that required immediate arrest,” Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin said at the time, and Gianforte was not a threat to public safety or flight risk. (Gootkin donated $250 to Gianforte’s campaign, but denied his contribution had any impact on the investigation.) Gallatin County Justice Court Judge Rick West said in June that he thought “some jail time here would be appropriate” for Gianforte, according to the Missoulian newspaper. The judge wanted to sentence him to four days in jail, which would be converted to two days in a work program that could include tasks like picking up trash on highways. But after West realized that the work program was not available to people who commit violent crimes, he settled on community service and anger management counseling, instead. Gianforte in early June sent a letter of apology to Jacobs—after initially blaming him for the fight—and donated $50,000 to the Committee to Protect Journalists as part of an agreement in which the reporter agreed to forgo any civil claims. The people of Montana “want us to move on,” Gianforte said. His critics, though, find his effort to avoid being fingerprinted and photographed at odds with that comment. “Greg Gianforte claims he has ‘taken responsibility’ for assaulting a reporter who asked him about health care, but he continues to do everything in his power to fight a routine criminal procedure resulting from his conviction,” Nancy Keenan, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, told HuffPost in an email. “No matter what he says, it’s clear to Montanans that Congressman Gianforte has not taken responsibility at all. He’s hidden from it.” https://www.yahoo.com/news/lawmaker-assaulted-reporter-fights-court-213232293.html

I am not an expert on the illegal alien situation, but I pretty much guarantee that I have more personal experience in dealing w/illegals than almost every single person on this board.
I've taught illegals for years. Sometimes, I never had a clue they were illegal, as I didn't always studiously read files where other teachers bad-mouthed certain children. I preferred making my own mind up about each child and didn't want to be influenced by others. When I witnessed a problem w/a child, I would go directly to teachers I respected who had previously taught that child.
I had one girl who was one of the most intelligent, polite, hard-working, kind, humble, and innocent people I have ever met........yet she used to miss quite a bit of school.
I used to get on her case about it. I would tell her of all her attributes but say that "you really need to attend school on a more consistent basis." One day, she broke down crying and explained how the immigration officers would sometimes park outside the apartment complex she lived in waiting for the kids to get on the bus. That complex apparently had other illegals living in it. On those days, her mother instructed not to go outside.
She was a beautiful girl and we used to call her "Angel face" because she was angelic in every way. I was heartbroken. I couldn't pick her up myself because she was a female, but I gave her number to my daughter who would pick her up and bring her to school.
Her mom was a cleaning lady and her dad did landscaping. Both worked their butts off in jobs a lot of people down here don't want to do. They were so kind, so grateful, so appreciative.
I have many more stories that resemble the above example.
I realize that some of you will not be phased and go on hating what you don't understand, but sometimes it's helpful to get a clearer picture of the situation and perhaps open up your hearts.

Interesting little comment here: A federal immigration judge first ordered Lopez removed in 2011, Khaalid Walls, the Northeast communications director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, told ABC News. It's neat how the article slightly tries to blame this on Trump. What part of illegal is so hard to understand? My guess is - and it's just a guess - he'll get to come back when he has all his ducks in a row. He'll probably jump to the head of the line. Has anyone tried being an illegal in Mexico, or anywhere else? I'm curious how foreign gov't.s treat illegals - even if they have a job.

It sucks going through the comment sections. People tend to not hold their feelings in, which can be good or bad.
But you see those sorts of comments all the time when it comes to minorities. Nothing new unfortunately, and won't be going anyway anytime soon cause we still have a lot of people in this country who hate others simply because of the way they look or where they come from.

A majority? I'd like to think not. And we know, you're talking about whites.

Why do they get to break the rules and we don't? Yes there are plenty of sob stories but an American driving to work gets stopped for some reason and the cop finds out he doesn't have a drivers license he goes to jail. Do it legally...no excuses.

i dunno if it's the majority of whites, but it's definitely a huge chunk of you guys that is very noticeable and open about it.

I was not trying to make this about Trump's policies. I was trying to get people to understand that there are human beings behind these stories.
Americans commit a ton of crimes and get away w/them. Then, all of a sudden, someone who looks different from us and speaks another language comes into the country in search of better opportunities [just like our ancestors did] and we start talking about the "law." LOL
I am going to tell you something and I want y'all to listen real close: I was appalled when I first had to deal w/teaching illegals, but after teaching many of them over the years and getting to know many of their families, I can unequivocally say that they are some of the most polite, humble, soft-spoken, respectful, law-abiding [yeah, I know what's coming, but I'm talking about once they are here] people I have ever, ever met!
I will also add this..........I live in the south now. A lot of people in the neighborhoods that I live in [upscale] do not want to do their own work, such as yard work, house cleaning, painting, minor repairs, etc. These illegals provide a service that other people in this country generally don't want to do.
I really feel that this issue comes down to prejudice and bigotry. Perhaps even racism. Many of the past targets are now off limits in public forums, but there are a couple that allow bigots to feel safe in expressing their true feelings.
As always, my message is to judge each individual as a separate entity rather than assigning generic labels to entire groups of people.

But, the key word is illegally. The thing is I do not see immigration as a racist issue. I see it as a protection issue. The safety of my family and other American families should be at our highest value. Just one illegal crime in America is one crime that could have been prevented. http://www.fairus.org/issue/examples-of-serious-crimes-by-illegal-aliens

Sounds good, but I call BS.
Speeding is illegal. Drunk driving is illegal. Driving on the shoulder in a traffic jam is illegal. Cheating on taxes is illegal. Watching child porn is illegal. Selling drugs is illegal. Heck, even smoking pot is illegal in most states. Neglect and abuse of children is illegal. Racketeering is illegal. I could go on and on and on...
The fact is that many things are illegal and yet, many members of society break those laws quite often and some of them then have the audacity to get all righteous about the "legality" of the issue.
Save that BS for someone who isn't intelligent enough to recognize bigotry for what it is.

comes into the country in search of better opportunities [just like our ancestors did] Most of our ancestors stood in line at Ellis Island. It's not about race. It's not about jobs we don't want to do. It's about shirking the system. What about all the immigrants that came here legally? Is it fair to them?

i dunno if it's the majority of whites, but it's definitely a huge chunk of you guys that is very noticeable and open about it. "You guys". See, swish, that is why you are hard to take serious on some issues. You lump people into a group, and you go from there. But, if it happens the other way, you get all ticked off and start calling racism.

That's weird. The "haves" around here hire local, legal citizens, to do their yard work. And they make darn good money.
We have illegals also. They don't want to work so much. As in, mowing a yard isn't productive enough for them
We also have legals that abuse the system to the point it makes me mad.

But, I get your point. Would you be okay with me saying something about blacks? Or would that make me racist?
